Great food at very reasonable prices! Employees are super friendly and I always feel welcomed, even when I get there 10 minutes before closing. The amount of food in a pasta bowl is tremendous and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day! Two people can have a nice pasta dinner for less than $ 20! You won’t find that anywhere else in this town! And just as an added bonus: if you are a student and can provide a valid ID, you receive an extra discount of either 10−15% and who doesn’t love a savings!!!

Excellent service and pasta to match! Grabbed the pasta today with meatballs, vodka sauce, and fresh mozzarella. Wonderful! Not to mention a hefty 20% student discount. Truly impressed with this visit!

Positalia is positively horrible… it is nothing more than food court food… mushy, tasteless pasta-no garlic, no seasoning. Go across the street and have REAL Italian food at Roko. It is cheap food is about all I can about it but pasta doesn’t cost anything so I don’t see this place lasting very long.

I like the food here, mostly the wraps. Fresh ingredients, and for lunch the prices are good. And you get filled up!

First, let me say, I am Italian. That being said, if you are used to Americanized Italian food you might like this place. However, if you don’t like pasta cooked to total limpness(can we get a little al dente over here please?!) and watery canned tomatoes passed off as «fresh homemade sauce prepared daily» with no seasoning besides mushy onions, then pass this place over. Bland and mushy is all I can say…

Sorry Way too expensive for what you get !!! I mean pasta is cheap! Why charge so much??? The staff is too young. High school kids. Clueless. Portions are too small. I don’t think I would go back even though I work practically next door. They need to offer larger portions for what you pay. Dinner for two was way too much for what we got !!

I’ll have to give it another try. The dinning room was super loud with me and 8 other patrons. The food is about what you would expect i.e. Italian Moes.

This place is good for a quick dinner. I got the pasta for under $ 10. It was nicely portioned with homemade meat balls.

Very well done Italian version of Chipolte. Clean, quick, inexpensive and really good. The service is so good that it is borderline annoying. Like everyone else I spoke w –the only place they come up lame is if u ask for bread(Italian food staple) — it as if u asked for plutonium. And they will give u a small morsel of stale bread.

I hate to give this place a mediocre review, but it just misses the mark. Like other reviewers, I like the concept Positalia is going for. I was excited to try this place, so I went with a group of three other people and none of us were impressed. Here are the highlights: — The pasta may be hot, but when you put lukewarm to cold toppings on it, the entire meal becomes lukewarm. They need a station at the end dump it all in a skillet and heat through. If not, put lids on the meats and sauces to keep them hot. — The pasta is over-cooked. Real and traditional pasta should be al dente, this was no where close. — The meals just tasted bland. The chicken had really good flavor, but everything else, including the sauces, are lacking in spice and flavor. It would be great if you could add basil, roasted garlic, or chili oil or other additions to your bowl. — There just aren’t enough options. Maybe add more pasta options, something other than marinara and two heavy sauces, like Vodka and Alfredo– maybe a pesto. — The portions on the salad, wrap and the Sicilian Chicken are small. The portion of meat in the pasta bowl was also small. I would say I probably got about 2 ½ oz, if that. *** There’s no bread! I would gladly pay $ 1 – 2 for a small piece of hard, crusty bread to go with my pasta. This would have greatly improved the experience. I really wish I could give this place a good review, I wanted to like it. I think this place could be a lot better if some minor adjustments were made.

I got really excited to see this concept for something that wasn’t name chipotle so I was very eager to try this. I put off my visit because a lot of people were going and weren’t all that impressed, and I definitely have to agree with them at this time. I decided to go for lunch during work and felt like my first impression could have been so much better. The food was decent and I liked the menu and the value of it but I am not going to lie, pretty much everyone working there had ZERO personality. For a new restaurant, there has to be an excitement, with most folks coming into the restaurant are going to be new people so it should be necessary to explain the process and make recommendations and I got none of that. I didn’t get a hello or really any interaction from anyone and that pretty much stayed that way the whole time I was there, from when I came in to when I was struggling to dispose of my tray, bowl, and utensils to when I left. No interaction, no great vibe, really just a bland experience overall. Again the food was really good, I like the options but it was all about experience at this time and it was very lacking and I know I really won’t rush to go back.

First time at this restaurant and not terribly impressed. The food was decent but nothing that couldn’t be made easily at home. I had a pasta & chicken bowl and the chicken was nicely tender and tasty. I felt like the portion could have been bigger for the price – especially the base(spaghetti noodles). Other than that, really nothing special– just a ‘subway’ or ‘chipotle’ style Italian eatery.

Very disappointed. Italian eatery to me is a place with authentic Italian food, breads and pastries. This place has no bread and is nothing more than a cafeteria quality/style food.

Chipotle style ordering but real Italian flavors. I ordered an Italian sausage piadina which is a wrap. It was huge, stuffed full. The sausage seasoning was perfect, true flavor that I haven’t had in a while. Vodka sauce, spinach, veggies and cheese rolled up. Husband ordered pasta with meatballs and again, large portion sizes! I’ll definitely visit again. Staff was friendly and available for help with ordering.

Great surprIse, kind of like flaming Amy’s Bowl with pasta and cool toppings. V was reasonable and food was delish. Ate at a community table and it was fun. I was surprised it wasn’t sit down ordering, but the line went down quickly. Staff v was very attentive. Definitely will go back

I’ve been now eating here about once a week(usually lunch) since it has opened and it continues to be very consistent. Looking for a healthy«fast» food option can be difficult. Positalia focuses on a build your own concept for Pasta, Salad, or a Piadina(essentially like a burriot). You pick a base, add a meat or veggies, then fill it with available toppings. As others reviewed very similar to a Moe’s set up. — Great Meatballs — Love the marina — Kids love the Pizza Sticks — Piadina is my current fave, I walk out full but not too stuffed — Prosciutto. Whoa. Although it just opened the staff seems to be very involved and friendly. The line moves fast and you are eating and out the door in no time. There were some wine selections now available now as well but I haven’t tried them. If you want some fast, healthy, Italian alternative at a good price you can’t go wrong.

Had dinner here Food was fast and fresh, service was good as well. Great concept but needs a few things to really hit the mark Definitely appeases to the masses in terms of flavor: little salt, very little garlic(if any at all), and limited selection for the creative pasta eaters Constructive Unilocal review: Very basic Need more pasta options Perhaps the zucchini could be sautéed w/spices Basically a burrito if you go with the wrap option, and the wraps are small Some ideas for ingredient options: Basil, roasted garlic, herbs, green olives, capers, fresh Parmesan Great idea overall. I am aware that the restaurant new and I give it 4 stars for quality and service and its potential as a great option for fast and customized Italian food. Price was fair. Wine was served in a small plastic glass. Could be nice if the food was served on real plates.

Fast casual Italian eatery — AKA Italian Chipotle! How it works: choose your meat, choose your entrée(piadina, pasta bowl, or salad), sauce it up, add toppings of your liking. «What is a piadina?» You ask? It’s a wrap warmed up on the grill and stuffed with the above contents. Ambience: modern and casual Service: fast casual Food: –meatballs — delicious! –try the vodka sauce –grilled chicken — nice flavor and seasoning –add prosciutto for no additional charge Drinks: fountain soda and tea Overall great for lunch or a casual dinner. Definitely would recommend

Great service. Food was good. Place was packed but we were served quickly. I had Meatballs served over thin spaghetti(no other choice) with fresh mozzarella, artichoke hearts, grilled red pepper/onion with marinara sauce. Fresh ingredients. Good taste. Price was fair.
