This place is amazing I will definitely be going back, Matt did my first today and I will be doing my second and third there. I love my water color panda and I can’t wait for my next one’s to be done there too! They’re right down the street so I know if I have any worries they’ll definitely take care of me ^^. Girlfriend is on the chair with Kevin getting some cool ink on her arm. Personally I haven’t gotten any work here, but most of the work that girlfriend has been done by Kevin. The décor of the shop is pretty neat, pictures everywhere and super clean. I think that I might have to get some work here in the near future.

I have a triple forward helix piercing and the middle one came out for the second time in a week. I went in to get the jewelry changed (only costs $ 5 unless you’re buying their jewelry), but unfortunately my hole had closed. Matt didn’t charge me, but gave me some good advice about getting the other two to heal and said it would be best to wait to get it pierced again. Overall, I was pleased with his service and he seemed knowledgeable about what he was talking about. Shop was nice and clean. I will go back when I figure out what I’m going to do with this cartilage piercing. (side note– if you’re considering a cartilage piercing, do your research!!! the healing takes much longer than you would think and the cleaning can be a pain!)

Absolutely the only place that I will ever get tattooed. Matt did my first tattoo before there was a Northside, and with the exception of one tattoo I got somewhere else (which he ended up fixing anyway) he has done all my work ever since. I will NEVER let anyone else tattoo me ever again. He always knows exactly how to make something look just how I want it, even if I’m not quite sure myself what I want, and I come in with some totally random uncommon ideas. I put all my faith in him every time, and it always turns out awesome. I get TONS of compliments on my color, my lines are all neat and clean, and I’ve never once had an issue with healing, or fading. I’ve never seen anything in the shop that looks out of place, or not sterile, or questionable at all. The place is immaculately clean, and definitely worth checking out.

If you’re brand new to ink Matt will walk you through the process, if you’re already covered he’ll offer cool suggestions. He takes great care in his work and it shows — linework is tight and clean and colors are Amazing!
