Everyone we bring here loves the food. Fair prices for what they offer. Plenty to eat there, even our less adventurous kids. Very fresh sushi, great selection, great service. We drive past several other restaurants to go here.

This place is good. It’s one of the nicer and pricier Hibachi’s I’ve been to. The food is worth the cost and the sushi is great, putting into consideration that it’s a buffet. It doesn’t have the higher end sushi rolls but definitely makes up for it in variety. I mainly come here for seafood so I’ll be back again!

I have this location as my go to, quick sushi destination. They do have more than just sushi though. They have a selection of Chinese staples, seafood and American fare. The star of the show is of course the large selection of sushi and sashimi.

Ate here a couple nights ago, & I thought it was really good! Especially the sushi section, they had some really awesome options. The buffet part was actually pretty good & decently fresh because we did come near the end of lunch before they change everything. Despite a couple hard pieces of bread it was really good quality :). Glad i found it.

Rating should be 3.5 to 3.75… Can’t give a buffet a 4, sorry but true. The rating is for the Sushi side of the buffet… Always full of variety and quite large. The restaurant is busy enough that the Sushi Chefs are always rolling sushi rolls. $ 14.95 all you can eat… Includes the rest of the food as well, which is also pretty good from a buffet stand point. Attendants are constantly rotating product to make it fresh looking. Couple items on the buffet I didn’t care for, but I’m sure others do! Place is clean enough and the employees are very pleasant always there to re-fill drinks and clear plates. The spicy crab rolls and anything with tuna are my favorites. Sashimi is also on the buffet. Very fresh and clean tasting!

I went to this place for dinner and they start dinner at 3pm. The place looks quite good and clean. Food is not great but it’s ok. many varieties of sushi and shrimp. The main problem here is after you sit at your table exactly at one hour the waitress brings you the check while your still eating and she will be waiting for you to pay. they keep stare at you till you pay and it makes you feel uncomfortable and people eventually leave the place. It’s quite embarrassing. outside it was snowing strong so we wanted to sit for a while but we couldn’t.may be that’s how the buffets works I guess.

This place used to be quite great! They charge full price for 9yo and up… every bread or roll I picked up was quite hard on the edges. The grill in the back is not what it used to be either… I’m not coming back.

Sushi is very good, especially considering it is buffet sushi. They will also make rolls on request. I am a big fan of the fact that they tell you right up front that Sunday is the dinner price all day. Since I can read, I was not surprised by this when I got my bill.

Curry fried chicken Super small pieces of sushi Inedible raw shellfish Sad looking hibachi Granted the pictures I took of the food looked decent, the food tasted mediocre. Wide selection but not a lot of it looked appetizing and even less tasted any good. Edible yes, would I want more no. I didn’t realize Sunday is all day dinner price of $ 15, definitely not worth the dinner price. Décor is interesting because they have sectioned off seating areas with nice awnings but all the food is located in the center of restaurant. Service was good, parking a plenty, but even Grand East in N. Wilmington was better with their small selection but more realistic sushi rolls and hot foods.

My go-to buffet in the Wilmington area. Just remember, it’s a buffet so don’t expect the best quality for all the dishes. You have to pick and choose to find the good stuff. I recommend the hibachi in the back right corner of the dining area for the best quality

Good selection, but quality wasn’t there. They have sushi and seafood with a wider variety than what you’d normally expect. There’s some great dishes but there’s more that leave you disappointed. Fried chicken has curry in it… really? Sushi is not fresh and relatively tasteless, and seafood is not cleaned at all(sand in fried and steamed clams). The prepared foods are OK however but I would avoid the crab rangoons. They have a good selection of fruit, so that’s always a plus. Food: 1⁄5 They have a good selection but quality was lacking. Might change in the future but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.

I went here with my brother. They have a wide selection of food, but a lot of it is hit or miss. The good food was: the General Tso’s Chicken, the beef patties, the espresso-flavored cake, the sushi, the ice cream, and of course the delicious Chinese donuts. The bad food was the fries, the steak and onions, the pizza, the mozzo sticks, and the crab rangoons. Overall it beats Old Country Buffet(and especially the disgusting Golden Corral) when it comes to buffets, but nothing groundbreaking. Next time I’m on Kirkwood Highway and hungry, I’ll probably pick something cheaper, faster, and better(Capriotti’s comes to mind).

I think this place has gone down hill. Its not bad, but not as good as it used to be. Its biggest perk is being very reasonably priced.

I been there so many time. The food are great! I especially love the sushi chef. We all call her Mama Sue!!! I will continue to go there as long she’s there because her service is on point. Other servers are excellent, don’t get me wrong. I usually go there for all you can eat sushi for $ 25 per person.

I don’t understand why these places do so well. The food is very sub par. The only reason I’ve ever even gone here is because they cook at your table. It’s a kids think certInly not and adult thing. The only time I have been there is during a kids birthday. Overpriced and not good.

Measuring this Buffet against all other buffets — this place is TOPNOTCH. I could not get over how great it was. There was a HUGE amount of variety and I don’t think I was disappointed with anything I tried. Buffets shouldn’t be able to have that much good food at it — it’s dangerous. The sushi was fresh and there was a TON to choose from. The soups and the dumplings were almost as good as any sit down restaurant I have been to. There were so many delicious choices I couldn’t even begin to name them all. I would come back again and again — but next time I need to come prepared wearing pants with an elastic waist band.

The sushi is very good and a surprisingly wide selection for a buffet. They don’t have any intricate or exotic rolls, but the ones they have are good. Normally these buffets are ok, but this one is very good for the price. I usually go for the lunch time price and pig out. Again, it is a buffet so do not expect exquisite food, but it is very good and quite worth the money.

Sometimes, I wish I could install a few extra stomachs, especially for a buffet place like this where the selection is extensive. The per-person cost is rather high but I did enjoy the hibachi and sushi bars. There were so many types of sushi that if you got one of each, you’d almost have to stack them in two layers on your plate! Also, the ice cream is really ice cream, not the soft-serve kind found at other Chinese buffets.

I went here for dinner, after work with a co-worker. We went for the sushi buffet. I want to make note that the pictures you see in this Unilocal listing, from Mary D. in 2011, their grand opening, they do not look that nice now. It’s not run down, but the ginger and wasabi were in the corner of a buffet table, not on ice, like the picture. Also her pictures of how they lay out the sushi, is not how they do it now; very barren. This place is rather large when you walk in and turn to the left. There was a little take-out register and a podium that had a «wait to be seated» sign. We were promptly seated. The buffet area was probably the largest buffet I had ever been to; I think there were about 8 or 9 different buffet sections with various food. They had pig’s feet, frog legs, general Tso’s chicken, half crabs, crayfish, cooked noodle dishes, mac and cheese, egg rolls, random stuff. I only tasted different types of sushi, since my co-worked raved about it. The chef does not cut the rolls all the way through so when you grab a piece, with the tongs, you bring the entire roll with you. I filled my plate with different rolls and sat down. The crunchy shrimp wasn’t that bad. There were a few others, can’t remember what they were, that were so awful, I actually had to spit out in my napkin. Seriously. The eel tasted bad, like overpowering bad. The rice was super sticky because, it is a buffet so who knows how long the food had been out. I needed to cleanse my palette with some dessert. Something that annoyed me, none of the desserts, were labeled. So it was like a lucky pick of the draw getting something you liked. Wasn’t impressed by any of the 6 things I tried and didn’t finish any of them. I can see this place wasting a LOT of food. There were staff, these ladies, who would stand against the wall watching everyone. When you got up to get another plate of food, they would remove your used plate. When we got the check, they gave us fortune cookies. I don’t really like them and I think most people just open them to get the fortune. This is not a Japanese place but a generic Asian restaurant. This Hibachi shares a parking lot with a grocery store, an A.C. Moore and a Kohl’s, it was packed and hard to find a spot at 6PM. I guess the incentive for people to come here, is that the buffet is $ 13 something. But I believe in, you pay for what you get sometimes, so I will pay a little more for better quality. I will not return here for the sushi. The best place I’ve tried in Delaware for sushi is Sushi Sumo; it’s further west on Kirkwood Highway, headed towards Newark. Clean, friendly, intimate atmosphere. Plus, when you get your check, they give you these little Japanese candies; melon or banana. Yum. And I will be updating this review if I get food poisoning, like some other reviewers experienced.
