FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

I recently had a bait and switch pulled on me from this store and could not, will not, recommend anyone use a third party store like this… ever!
I had a package weighing just 6.6 lbs delivered to me in central Georgia from my sisters home in Wilmington. I had gotten a price quote from the FedEx web site of $ 45 after entering the weight and dimensions of the box. I requested normal shipping, adult signature on arrival and insurance for $ 2500. It seemed reasonable so I contacted my sister to drop the package off and I would reimburse her. She was not aware, nor was I, that FedEx or their web site IS NOT affiliated with these stores and does not control the pricing they charge. My sister was not aware of the price I was expecting as she was just dropping it off for me. In the end, this store charged her over $ 117.00 for a 6.6lb package that took 7 days to arrive. When I called to complain and ask why such a huge difference, the store manager went into a long, drawn out explanation that they are independent and set their own pricing and that was that. No sympathy, no customer service, just «tuff luck buddy!»
Well, live and learn. Drop your packages off at the main FedEx hub or you’ll get gouged like I did by this crook of an outfit disguised as a FedEx affiliation.

I wanted to fax a two sided documents today & apparently the staff here do not know how to use a fax machine efficiently. Either you pay for copies or pay for two faxes, and this is communicated abruptly, bordering on rude. She couldn’t figure out how to reinsert a page after it comes out of the fax machine. Really?!? They’re numbered & the person receiving them knows how to count, so order is not important. Sigh. Going elsewhere.
