Earthbound

I recently visited earthbound and was disappointed. I scheduled an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. After my manicure, I had lots of cuticle hanging off the sides of my nails still and there was no use of water or cuticle oil during the entire service. Then I was told to soak my feet in a subway tile and mildew infested pedicure bowl while I received a pedicure. I looked over to see the next pedicure bowl was also covered in mildew. Totally gross and unsanitary! Again, no cuticle oil. My dry feet were lightly buffed outside of the pedicure bowl leaving them dry and callused as they were when I arrived. The pictures hanging in the nail room could have been attractive if someone had taken the time to place a piece of glass between the wrinkled pictures and their frames. Maybe earthbound can take the $ 85 from my services and by bleach for their pedicure bowls, cuticle oil and glass for their frames. I would not recommend this place based upon my visit.

This hair salon has friendly service and a great atmosphere. Offering several extra services as a full day spa. I’m looking forward to scheduling a massage appointment.

We hired EarthBound for my wedding back in January. I went some time the summer before to have my hair trial. Krystina was great! She listened to what I wanted and had it up and ready in lest that no time. The owner (who’s name I know I’m going to misspell) Lahn did my makeup and was brilliant! When the wedding came around in January, we first had manis/​pedis at the store (as well as one bride’s massage) the day before, and the day of we had two girls at our hotel doing hair and Lahn doing makeup. We had 6 or 7 doing hair plus me and another 5 doing makeup. The girls handled the hair with ease, probably because they had a really great time sheet to go by! My makeup was last and she took her time getting everything right. We made special arrangements to cover up some of my visible tattoos, and she was brilliant with it! You couldn’t see any of them! Well, at least until all the dancing started hahaha. Over all, the girls were awesome and really know what they’re doing! If I lived in Wilmington, there’s no doubt I’d be back!

I received a gift card from my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. I’d never been to Earthbound, and was very excited to get a manicure and pedicure.
The spa is very warm and welcoming, clean and nicely decorated. I felt very relaxed and comfortable the entire time I was there.
I highly recommend the Earthbound Deluxe Pedicure and Earthbound Manicure. Megan did mine and she was excellent — very friendly and professional.
I look forward to going back for a massage and to get my hair done. It seems like they offer just about any service you could ever want and it was easy for me to schedule an appointment.

Great service. Clean. Friendly. Knowledgable. Trendy. I’d totally come back if I wasn’t living in DC and just visiting the area.
