Dunkin’ Donuts

The WORST Dunkin Donuts in Wilmington, MAYBE in all of North Carolina. If you can avoid this place I would probably do that. There is another one right on oleander that is a little out of the way for some people but worth it to not deal the employees at the market street location. Where to even begin…
1. ALWAYS out of things; flavored syrups, large cups, straws, DONUTS, bagels, sugar, lemonade, you name it. They’re out.
2. They never make anything correct. I can’t even count how many times I have had to GO BACK to return a coffee (I know who does that! But it’s ALWAYS messed up), have them remake it, or get my money back! My coffee is never correct and if I order a bagel I ask for cream cheese on the side… They always put it on it. So annoying!
3. They are so rude to the customers. When they mess up my order and I say something about it they have the nastiest attitude like its my fault for not liking it! I order my coffee the same way all the time, this is YOUR JOB please do it correctly. I know they may think «oh, it’s just dunkin» but that’s your job, take pride in your job or GO WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Once I was in there and one of the girls was cursing at a customer through the window, telling her she was a dumb b***h! I couldn’t believe it!
4. Their wait times are atrocious.
If I could negative star rate them I would. When they are the closest coffee place to me, I expect my mornings to be ruined.

It had been a hot minute since I last ate at Dunkin Donuts (still mad the one on Meeting Street in Charleston closed). Anyway, this particular DD was kind of dirty but DAMN that coffee and cronut were good!

My favorite place to have quick breakfast with some fresh donuts in the morning. Highly recommended!!!

They always seem to mess up my order or charge me for the wrong thing. Step up your staffing and give better quality service.

Could use some improvement drink had to be remade due to being gritty for a iced coffee, very sloppy with sauce all down the side of my cup. No one here looks happy and they talk louder than their guest.

After finally placing our order without actually confirming it when we wanted to order more we make it to the window. They tried guessing our order 3 different times and got them all wrong. It was like a bad card trick. They then ask us what we ordered and said that they gave it to the customer in front of us because she was running late for work. They continue to argue with each other while the drive-​thru window is open and we can hear them saying how frustrated they are getting. They asked us again what we ordered and finally got it right. I was excited about breakfast there this morning but I don’t plan on going back at all.

I’m not sure how this location compares to other dunkin donuts locations… But this place is ridiculous. Their «coffee» drinks are way too sweet. I ordered one with half the sweetener and it was STILL too sweet (way sweeter than starbucks or any other place I’ve ever had). The actual coffee here tastes like dirty brown water and not coffee. It has no flavor other than just tasting like reheated, old, watered down coffee. The donuts are also artificial tasting and aren’t made there. Do not subject yourself to the pumpkin spice filled one– you will regret it. You should go to Brits or wake and bake donuts and get one that is actually homemade and fresh. Nothing in this place is edible to me.

Dunkin Donut corporate emailed me after my complaint and basically this is a Franchise and there is nothing they can do. So I highly advise against taking any chances here and go elsewhere. Harris Teeter has better donuts and are MUCH bigger.

This location sucks. They are always out of something. They always make my coffee too sweet even after I asked them to put less sugar and creamer in, now I don’t ask for any sugar at all and somehow the flavoring (caramel, whatever…) is always VERY strong.
Today angered me even more. The drive through line was long and I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. I was handed my bag, drove home to eat it, and it was a chicken sandwich on a biscuit. That’s not even CLOSE! I checked my receipt (maybe they misheard me) and I was charged for the breakfast sandwich I had ordered.
Get it together people. I will still go here but I always have low expectations.

Out of product. Wrong price after «replacing» product. Slow service. I asked for a sweet tea refill. They quoted me a price that was more than the original price I already paid. And before I could respond, the employee walked away.

Like another reviewer said, this is an average DD. I added an extra star because this location hasn’t managed to screw up my order yet, I haven’t had this good fortune with any of the other Dunkin’s I’ve frequented! The drive through is pretty quick too.
It can be a little difficult getting in and out with Market St traffic, but that isn’t much of a surprise.

Average Dunkin Donuts. They’re pretty quick here. Last time I was here they were pretty busy and my order still came out quickly.

It’s a bit tricky to get in and out of the parking lot, but if you go in the back way, it is much easier.
Love this Dunkin Donuts. The employees are very polite and friendly.

This location is a train wreck.
You don’t want to stay, but you can’t look away. We went around 10 am, so I understand being busy, but there was only 1 group ahead of us in line. I’m not sure why it took so long, they had plenty of employees and it doesn’t take that long to make a cream cheese bagel, in my opinion.
Try a different Dunkin Donuts.
