The only reason why I come to this place is because of the tiki bar tender with the cool voice. If you go there and you don’t see him you better expect to wait 10 minutes to get served especially if your a minority. Then when you ask for a beer the people inside look at you like you bothering them for trying to pay for an overpriced beer. Then have an attitude when they give it to you. Oh yes, can’t forget when I asked for a shot, I was told«I’m not giving you shit unless you say please». Umm yea I will not spend another dollar at a place that clearly has an race issue and I have to beg to get service.

Wanted to support the new restaurant and spread the word with the hotels and guest. We ordered food and to say the least we were very dissatisfied and disappointed in the presentation of the food. Even ordered bacon and grilled onions but it was not included in the order. Burger meat was flat and Unappealing. Do not do delivery you might be disappointed too. Go to Red Robin…

Walking distance to my daughters apartment makes it very convenient for us. They have by far the best volleyball sand courts in Wilmington and the food is real good for pub food. I tried the Cobb salad which was not only to my liking but I had plenty left over for a late night snack. Owner and staff was on point and very approachable. If your looking for sand volleyball the have leagues and tournaments posted there as well.

Courts n Sports(the place I posted my original review about) is now Dig and Dive. I haven’t been to it since it changed owners/names, but was disappointed to see my beloved veggie burger is now gone. I also have some… feelings…about the name. Very close to «Duck and Dive», the bar downtown. Has led to some odd conversations with friends when they think I’m referring to a part of the male anatomy being in the name of the restaurant if I say it too quickly. With all of that said, I can say literally nothing about this restaurant now that it’s changed hands. Haven’t been there and since the veggie burger is gone, I probably won’t go. I miss you, Courts n Sports!

I visited Wilmington a couple months back and decided to move down there. In July I will be moving to the apartments attached to Dig and Dive. I love it here. Really good food, really cool environment and huge beer selection.

I went there often when it was Courts and Sports… they had great drink specials! Their fried green tomatoes were good. Had lunch there once, but the food was blah and waited too long for it to come out. I thought the place would be even better now that they changed the name to Dig and Dive, but I was wrong. Their drafts are overpriced…$ 17+ for three beers! I think I’ll stick to my favorite place… FRONTSTREETBREWERY a thousands times better!

Love Courts and sports, now being transformed into«dig and dive» they’ve got a really great set up in there now with elegant booths and a lounging area. My fiancé and I have been grabbing drinks there more often now. The bartenders are great and very personable. Cant complain about the food either. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is always great.

Tons of vball courts and great bar with some really good food too! Get Staci as your bartender. Not only fun but she’ll take great care of you and teach you how to properly play the ball toss game. The breakfast burger = amazing. Also every Sunday they host a luck of the draw vball tourney for $ 5 per person which is a lot of fun.

I stopped in on a friends recommendation and was skeptical. I spent some time nursing a Kung pow sidekick appetizer of fried shrimp and chatted with the bartender Kelly, who immediately dropped truth bombs all over me and brightened my day and solidified my life’s meaning. There were good beer specials and a great crowd, not over crowded but as the volleyball picked up it turned into a really cool atmosphere. Sun,”, sand, good food and Al-kee-hol. Kelly, I’ll be back to ask some questions and here some truth, word yo.

I love this place. Wonderful big sports bar atmosphere with tons of tv’s. The food is delicious(my favorite is the firecracker shrimp) and the staff is friendly. No better place in wilmington to grab some good food, brews and enjoy playing volleyball. Definitely a must try.

I go from time to time for a game, a beer and a bite. I like the open feel of the bar/restaurant and the wait/bar staff is friendly and fast. What has surprised me is the food. I haven’t had a bad meal yet and I order pretty randomly. Burgers are solid and the steak and cheese has a lot of flavor. And I’d go back for just the buffalo fries/chips(which were recommended by the bartender). The bar area has plenty of room and TVs to kick back on unwind.

Absolutely do go here for the fun college atmosphere. DONOT go here for the food. Super greasy, chicken was dry but hey, its a bar, what do you expect. Lots of seats, outdoor bar near the volleyball courts and there is always something going on so if you’re bored, go ahead and give it a try, if you’re hungry, go somewhere else.

I really like it here. It’s a pretty big sports bar with a lot of TVs on the walls so you won’t miss the game. They have different sports memorabilia hanging all over the walls. The menu is a typical bar menu, you have your appetizers then a bunch of different sandwiches. The burgers there are really good. I’ve had 3 different ones now and each time I’m not upset I got one. My only complaint is they can only cook the burgers medium and up so someone who enjoys a medium rare burger I just have to deal with it. The service is quick and very friendly Courts and Sports is also the official bar for the American Outlaws(United States National Team soccer supporters club) Wilmington NC Chapter so if you’re ever in town and there is a game on stop in, there will be a bunch of people there

Very friendly staff and quick service. Lots of TVs to watch the game. The menu is nothing unusual but it is good. Mostly sandwiches. It appears to be mostly burgers but you can make any burger a wrap or with chicken or black bean burger. I think that is great. My fajita wrap could have been seasoned more(I had to add hot sauce to it), but I was happy with my meal. Oh and FYI they put brown sugar on their sweet potato fries. This is a bit of a pet peeve for me(I think sweet potato fries are perfectly good without the seasoning), but a lot of restaurants do it, and I know for next time! Besides this, the fries were perfectly crispy.

I’m afraid to say anything because I think this place is a good secret and I don’t want it over-run like some of the other sports bars in town. Food is ok but you don’t go to a place like this for a bacon wrapped filet. Cold beer, decent wings. Big potato skin menu(i personally am not a fan of those because it is just not my thing). Can’t wait for some warmer weather so I can relive the glory days on the beach volleyball courts.

Went on a Saturday night. Very nice looking place, but unfortunately service was horrible. Sat at the bar with two friends for a solid 5 hours watching football &UFC. Spent more than any of the college kids in the place, but we’re still treated like they were doing us a favor every time a bartender refilled a drink or had to take an order. My empty beer repeatedly sat in front of passing bartenders(it wasn’t very busy) without a look. Even when I arrived, I sat at a mostly empty bar for at least 10 minutes without anyone asking if I wanted anything. Btw, was pointing out to my party when we left… Never saw a smile from any of the bartenders either. Food was average & when my friend ordered a cheeseburger, it was brought out with only bun & meat. Literally, nothing else. When he pointed this out to the bartender, she acted like he’d put her out & said nothing… Just came back with some lettuce & tomato. Don’t get it. Why open a huge & nice place, but pay no attention to the details.

This is simply a great place. Excellent service along with a relaxed and cool environment. You have an inside bar along with an outside one surrounded by volleyball courts and corn hole. Definitely bring your friends along or family members to add a little something to the bar night or daily outing. The food was your typical bar food, enjoyable but nothing to write home about.
