Wow, such a great dining experience. By far the best food in the Valley. So many choices and the flavors were so excellent. The taste and presentation were outstanding. The cod and salmon were perfect.
The wait staff from the host Brian, to Kat, to our fantastic wait staff Kathleen and Lauren were all outstanding. We had a wonderful night and kudos to the chefs.
We would surely come back.

I recently stumbled upon Cask & Kiln on a trip to South Vermont. I can’t tell you how pleasantly surprised I was to find this gem! Walking in the door you are transported to another era. The roaring twenties are alive and well in these walls. The staff could not have been nicer! Make sure to try the Bow Thai cocktail! Chef Aaron made a meal I won’t soon forget! Everything was fresh, experimental and exquisitely put together. I highly recommend!

A very nice dining room and competent waitstaff. We found my wife’s appetiser (scallops) and my main course (lamb) to be severely oversalted. I shouild have sent both back, but it was our anniversary and with the restaurant full, we didn’t feel like the wait. The owner was on the floor and very helpful, as well as being extremely accomodating with a request to have wine waiting for us. I would have liked to have the table brushed between courses, especially as my cheese appetiser had about 15 assorted crackers with it.
Aside from some local prom dates, the crowd was almost entirely out-​of-​state, and we both felt they were disrepectful of the restauraunt’s décor – there’s an upstairs lounge if you want to wear flip-​flops to dinner.
A nice experience, but we really couldn’t taste our food after the first couple of bites overwhelmed with salt. We won’t return.

Truly scrumptious food! Downstairs is fine dining and amazing drinks and service while upstairs is much more casual with the feel of a prohibition era speakeasy and amazing drinks to match. For a quick bite head upstairs without a reservation, or plan ahead and have an amazing dinner in the main dining room. You’ll be sure to be treated well by the owners!

Excellent Food & Service. Never had a disappointing meal — love the burger in the bar and Delmonico in the dining room. They always have new drink concoctions that are fabulous! Great place!!!

Fabulous place. Our waiter was Stefan and his service was excellent. This was our second time there and we will go every time we visit the area. The bar upstairs has a great atmosphere… dark and romantic! When we arrived our table was ready and we didn’t care for its location and the host told us to head upstairs for a drink… We loved the ambiance of the bar. Later We were offered a seat in a corner booth that sat two people… Much better seat. Very accommodating. The food is five star! Try the popovers!

In a building that was destroyed by flooding and housed a clothing boutique store and a coffee shop opens a long awaited establishment, Cask and Kiln. A fabulous new edition to the growing fine dining options in the Mount Snow region. The renovation is gorgeous: wide plank floors, crystal chandeliers, tin ceiling tiles. Beautifully laid out and inviting. Make sure to reserve through Unilocal as it gets crowded after a long ski day. Amuse Bouche of smoked salmon and asparagus greens-​delicious. The cheese tray was ample and gorgeously plated with local and European cheeses. One of the goat cheeses was from Nearby Jacksonville. The Chicken for two included local bird from Adams Farm, deboned and cooked to perfection. Mac and cheese probably the best I’ve ever had and shaved Brussels sprouts just divine. So run don’t walk to Cask and Kiln!

Love the restaurant. Have gone many times. Tonight, had the venison and it was wonderful!

Emma is still the greatest bartender. Such class. A sweetie!
Many kinks have been worked out, it seems. But not all. For instance, parking here is non existent. Usually not a problem. A short walk is all it takes. But tonight was cold!!! The owners red truck is always parked right in front. If all the employees did that…, well, you know. Seems discourteous.
Overall, big improvements. But hey. Move the red truck? :)

The venison entrée I had last Saturday was a top 5 ever dish – just perfect balance of well cooked venison that feel off the bone, parsnip purée, some mushrooms and nice sauce. And my daughter went in for the marrow in the bone!
I also am not a fan of pumpkin but went for that since my daughter couldnt decide between that and the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was delicious but super dense. The pumpkin cheese was great! the crunch from some crumbled crust and then crystallized ginger was inspired. really a great dessert
The bar is as good as one will find outside a major city. I had the smoked cocktail which was very well done but you can tell observing the bar how good they are.
The service was great and I am sad it will be a little while until I get back since we dont normally ski at Mount Snow

Popovers. Burger with bacon and egg. And Moscow mules. And the place is beautifully designed honoring the buildings history.

Total gold mine! Love this chic new place! Definitely a must-​do stop over into mt. snow for a weekend. Service was super friendly and attentive. Décor was modern hip and chic. Attention to detail was perfect! Everything was 2 thumbs up! Food was amazing! We had the Brussel sprouts, steakhouse salad and delish popover!
Cute jazz music playing in background at perfect volume. We will be coming back tomorrow to check out the late-​nite lounge upstairs!
Make reservations… This place gets packed!

Amazing service. Amazing flatbread. Amazing burger. Amazing Filthy Martini (with hand-​stuffed blue cheese olives!). I can’t wait to come back!

We’ve eaten here 5 times and each time was solid. Great atmosphere and solid food and excellent drinks. I live in NYC in Chelsea and this would be a solid competitor to our NYC favorites.

Wow, what a great dinner! We had the chicken for two and it was just incredible. Tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of food. We had the either the Boyd Farm greens or kale, I honestly don’t remember because it was all about the chicken that night. We also had the pomme frites which were decent.
I loved the atmosphere; some folks were casual and some were dressed up. The décor was stylish and I felt as though I might see someone famous at any moment.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

This really was one of the best meals I’ve had up here. I would give it 5 stars but want to wait until my next visit.
If you sit at the bar and are served by Kat, you will not be unhappy, she is on her game and made great recommendations from the halibut to the crème brûlée.

A great addition to this area. The décor and whole feel is very trendy and was done with amazing taste. The upstairs lounge area is homey and very inviting. Looking forward to enjoying a mellow night there.
The food in the main restaurant was really good. They were kind enough to allow me to have a burger (which is usually served upstairs) and it was terrific. The egg on top was perfect. My husband had the pork belly and salmon. He loved the pork, although a bit fatty, which pork belly usually is and also loved the salmon. My only suggestion is that there should be some nice bread served while waiting for dinner. I really think that it is important to have something to munch on while having a drink. It makes the wait much more pleasant. All in all, a great experience.

Best in area — prices are high but worth it. The cocktail selection is world class and food from app to desert nothing short of EXCELLENT.
Went with 3 people, we all had separate main course, we all LOVED the food.

OUTSTANDING!
Came here with kids and without a reservation. Unlike some places that claim to be kid friendly because they have high chairs and a kids’ menu, this place was superb! Staff was going out of their way to make sure we enjoyed the evening (helps, perhaps, that our kids were particularly well behaved that evening) … But the level of service cannot be over stated.
The food was wonderful and the staff doubly so!!!

Totally what this town needed. Awesome food and great drinks. Had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection and super tasty. The remodel on this place is 5 stars, and the lounge upstairs is awesome, will definitely come back and try the lounge menu. I did notice the next day that the lounge is supposed to close at 10pm, although I left at 11 and it was still opened.
