TownePlace Suites Burlington Williston

The rooms are ok, they have a fridge, micro, stove, tv. My wifi keeps going out and when I ask they are confused about the password and the coverage. The brkfast is decent but the walls paper thin & noise is easily heard in the room.
What I hate most is no control over the heating & cooling. You punch on the buttons on the wall but no response from any ac/​heat. I hate that. They arent overly friendly either. I will give them 3 stars but only cause I cant give 2 ½.

Convenient location, just minutes off 89 and close to everything you will need in Williston.
The suites are clean and well-​appointed with a modern finish. Some suites have a kitchen with a full size cooking range and oven too, well-​stocked with the basic utensils if you want to get some cooking done.
The best part of this place though is the staff. I’ve been traveling up here for work for the last few months now and highly recommend the staff, always friendly and willing to help.
Best value for the rate in this part of the world!

Stayed there a week for work. Great place. Step up from the typical hotels. Very clean, very nice, fast WiFi. I worked in the room 8 hours a day and liked it. Decent breakfast. Close to a lot off stuff and 89. Stay there if you need to go to Burlington. Will stay there next year.

Excellent staff, convenient location to Burlington and Williston shopping, and updated, neat rooms. We really loved the updated feel, the plush bedding, and large flat screen tv. The hotel even has a little market with snacks and forgotten items. Considering the proximity to town and the condition of the hotel, It’s a great value overall.
You can even bring your dog for $ 15 extra a night. :)

GREAT staff, clean, relatively new, fantastic location for business. Rooms are not well insulate though so they can be a bit noisy, thus the knock on the rating. PET FRIENDLY!!! :-) Small work out room but there is a full gym across the street that gives special rate for hotel guests. Indoor pool, kitchenette with full fridge. Comfortably spacious rooms.

This place has been totally renovated (they were still updating some things on the outside while we were there). The rooms are great. They were clean and have obviously been updated. We had a desk area and kitchen area with dark cherry cabinets and new appliances (stove, fridge, oven, dishwasher). The bed was very comfy (which is a must for me). Breakfast was included In our stay and parking was free and easy to find. Downtown Burlington was only like 10 – 15 minutes from this location. The staff was friendly and we would stay here again if we are in the area.

The worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Where to even start? Our first two nights there, we were out of the room by 10am, returned before dinner, and there had never been room service. Next, on our last night in early July, the hotel nearly burned down. Google «Marriott Fire July Williston» if you don’t believe me. I understand that this is an accident, but the manner in which Marriott handled it was completely unacceptable. First, they still tried to bill for the room on the night the hotel burned out! Second, Marriott corporate referred us to a local Vermont phone number to resolve the issue. It was an answering machine that never called back. We had to go through our credit card, and make a dispute for the last night, to get the money back for that night. Ruined digital camera? Ruined leather bag from smoke and water? We won’t even try to claim reimbursement for these at this point. It may be a local owner causing the problems, but shame on Marriott for attaching their name to a hotel that charges for a room that couldn’t be used and won’t return phone calls regarding the matter.

Best place in this area. Its all about Bob! Bob went out of his way to make this one of the best hotel experience I have ever had. He was our personal assistant… picking up stuff when places wouldn’t deliver …driving a friend to the airport on his day off. Really made us feel like a true resort vacation in a tiny town of VT. That says a lot since I stay in hotels up to 150 days a year.
I wish i could take this place everywhere i go… would make the road so much more bearable.
