This is only based on a decaf almond milk latte, which was a little burnt tasting. Also, I asked what was in the GF/V brownie and the cashier was pretty shady about it, saying their protective about recipes. I’m not a spy dude, just a lady who doesn’t want to kill her husband whose allergic to everything. However, I will update when I go back because the menu looks great– vegan and gluten-free galore.

This review is mostly for their gluten free baked goods and coffee drinks. The baked goods have been hits or miss, but the hits outweigh the misses! Their inca warrior power cookie is one of the absolute best things I have ever tasted — it is sweet and textured and really a perfect pick me up! Plus it is vegan and gluten free I believe, maybe even paleo The space isn’t huge so don’t come here for a larger group, but it’s great for a grab and go or cozier 2 person coffee. There is a 10 dollar minimum so if you are just grabbing a coffee drink and a sweet treat, you should definitely bring cash! I can’t wait to try some of their heartier meal options — the breakfast looks especially amazing(I’ve got my eye on their shakshuka)

I visited Brooklyn in February and I’m still thinking about this place! I was there for three days, and usually eat at a different restaurant for each meal but chose to eat there twice because it was that good. So many options for different dietary restrictions and it’s a really cozy and unique space.

Love the food. Love the staff. Love the owner! Deliciously prepared food and great portions. Made with love. Desserts are so yummy but some are super sweet. Perhaps cut down on the sweeteners pretty please. Overall fully satisfied. Every time I trek down to Williamsburg I go here. Quite of a far walk but it’s super worth the trip! Super vibing this unpretentious place.

I loved this place so much I came twice. I usually only try different places when I travel but I loved this place. The first time I got the golden milk. It’s supposed to be healing. Had coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon and other spices. Omg. It was sooo good. I’m going to be making this at home. I also had one of their vegan macaroons. Didn’t like it. Gave it to my friend. She did. Next trip I ordered another golden milk. Wasn’t as good as the first one but he did say he was experimenting with the recipe. I also ordered one of their goddess cookies I think they were called. They were fresh and warm and gooey. So good. To go I ordered the quinoa ball plate and it was fire! I want the recipe for them so I can make at home. Dude w the dreads was cool. The other guy too. Really enjoyed my experience at Abracadabra.

The location and the setting inside is amazing. It reminds me so of Turkey. The decoration is well chosen. The food is vegan friendly and really tasty. The only negative point was the waiter there, this young boy who is really unfriendly and didn’t help at all.

As businesses in this area move in and out, I hope and pray that cute little independent spots like this survive even if places like Whole Foods move in down the street. This type of business is truly what makes this area feel like a neighborhood. It’s quirky, healthy, and filled with locals at all times. It’s a good place to stop in if you have a preference for healthier foods. Though it’s not all vegan or raw or anything — they have a burger on the menu — they have plenty of healthy options like vegan desserts and stuff with chia seeds in it. The first time I went there I went with their maca oatmeal and sadly I do not recommend it. I think it was actually more like oats swimming in milk with some random fruit pieces than the kind of oatmeal that you would expect. However, on subsequent trips I’ve gone with these amazing croissant sandwiches that they have in the case and I have never looked back. Avocado, red peppers, hard boiled egg and more between the freshest tastiest croissant pieces. The space is tiny so during busy times it can get quite crowded… probably best to wait outside for your food to avoid knocking into others who are trying to order. Overall a great part of this neighborhood and a wonderful spot to fill up on healthy eats!

I don’t know if it’s my liberal arts college background or my NW vegetarian youth but I have a weakness for«hippie» food. I love whole grains, veggies, from scratch dips and fresh, local ingredients. It makes me smile to see a rainbow of food and I’m not talking Skittles The theme at Abracadabra is Turkish food. They have Turkish coffee here which I love. Turkish coffee is so strong that you can’t have it every day. It’s basically very concentrated. I knew what I wanted when I arrived. The«Two Fried Eggs» had my name on them. And I of course would splurge the extra buck fifty for my AVOCADO! I must have it. The place was packed. The seating here is limited and I can tell the kitchen is a tight squeeze. When my plate arrived I was thrilled to see the perfectly cooked eggs on the labneh thin bread. Then some cooked kale, beets, roasted bell peppers, a homemade herbaceous hummus and some in house made chili mayo! I was in heaven. It was the perfect start to my day. All the flavors worked so well together. And when you eat such a healthy breakfast, you don’t feel weighed down either. I liked the painted tree on the wall, the colander plant holders, the colorful art and the vintage tables and dishware. I can’t wait to come back and try some coffee and treats! There were some interesting combinations of treats and I love me an everything style cookie. It’s another wellness of mine. Inca Warrior Power Cookies have my name all over them. They are vegan cookies made with chia seeds, coconut sugar and oil, chocolate chips and sunflower seeds.

The chicken tikka turkish burrito lived up to the hype on Unilocal.Simply delicious and wonderful flavor with plenty of veggies and organic chicken. Better yet, the staff and owner were friendly and pleasant — they put a smile on my face :) I definitely recommend Abracadabra. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu!

Love this place! Came here by chance to work on my computer and loved: * The delicious food; I ordered the meatball dish and it was really good, the hummus and roasted veggies were yummy, but my favorite was the side salad that came with it. * The brownie was deeeeeelicious!!!(shh, don’t tell my beachbody coach! I’m supposed to be on a diet!!) * The music is fab; great for tapping away at the computer without being too distracting. Loungey and chill vibe. I would just recommend that the restaurant put a water station where the poinsettas are bc getting a glass of water was a bit challenging(compared to other restaurants) and I noticed a few patrons had the same water-wanting woes I had. Also, more hot sauce bottles would be great :)

2 Stars for the coffee, but 4 for the place itself. Haven’t try the food yet, but it smells good from outside ! Even more inside. Came for a quick coffee to go. Everyone was very friendly, there’s a good vibe here. The coffee wasn’t great, but I think this is not really the purpose of this place, so I shall came back another day when I’m hungry to rate it more accurately.

Abracadabra is right. This name only hints at the magic inside. From the owner who treats you like you’re a long long family member to the AMAZING food that would easily go for 3x the price anywhere else on Bedford. Come for brunch, stay to try and get adopted by a kindly Turkish man.

So disappointed. A few weekends ago I found this place online(via google and Unilocal) when searching for new Turkish restaurants to try. My boyfriend is Turkish and I’m vegan so we thought this place sounded perfect– the best of both worlds! We have tried nearly every Turkish restaurant in the city already, so we wanted to try something new. We made the trip here all the way from Astoria, Queens… and for nothing. As soon as we stepped inside we realized we could not eat there. This was one of the hotter days this summer. Definitely over 90 degrees outside… and DEFINITELY around 100 degrees inside. It was SOHOT in there and no a/c. We stepped inside and then promptly stepped back out. From the pictures I’ve seen, the food looks delicious. But unfortunately, who can eat in that kind of sweaty stinky atmosphere? Not I. and I’m not the only one. A few minutes later when we were outside on the sidewalk figuring out where to go from there, we saw another couple go in and out just like us. If you are not going to invest in an A/C unit for hot NYC summers, then at least just be closed on the super hot days. We ended up taking a taxi to Turkish Kitchen in Manhattan. Maaaayyybe we’ll make the trip out here again in the wintertime to give them a second chance, but for now that 1 star stands.

This place doesn’t deserve even one star. Two things of note: 1-my husband ordered a dish and noticed a long hair imbedded in the meal. We called for manager attention and he made us wait as he carried on with client. He then comes over and instead of promptly apologizing and taking dish away, he proceeds to dig in my husband’s meal with his hand, pull out the hair and examine it in front of us. The nerve! And also: EWW. How revolting is that? And insulting… almost as if he was checking that it wasn’t my husband’s hair(duh it wasn’t). 2-before ordering I asked the manager if anything was canned as I have a nickel allergy. He was quite pompous in his denial, pointing to the chalk board that says«our food is fresh & organic». So why, do I wake up the next day with hives on my face? All in all two thumbs way down.

Nice spot! Cool vibe with great organic food. The Turkish touch is good. I’ve got the Turkish burrito bacon avocado for $ 8 served with salad! It was very good with some Turkish spices that make it exotic! My wife ‘be got the 2 organic fried eggs. It was very good and fresh. Nice coffee. Love the decoration. New breakfast spot in the South.
