Ordered an expensive outdoor table (over $ 10K) in beginning of AUGUST 2015 – now it’s January 2016. Yup – 5 months later. First vague excuses about the factory in Europe being closed – now multiple emails and phone calls simply not returned. Stay away!

Cant’ believe the bad reviews I am reading. Karkula staff is friendly and open to interaction if the customer needs any. This is a store that welcomes walks in. You won’t be harassed if you like to look around and enjoy the stunning pieces of furniture that they propose. Take it as a small scale Museum for design. And feel free to ask questions if you have any. I have been going there often. Unfortunately I can’t effort most of their furnitures otherwise I’d be one of their best customers … but this place is full of inspirations.

This is a higher end art furniture store and I shop here for the select few clients that can afford the items. The sale style is hands off until you ask for help or information and then they are very helpful and will send information, tear sheets, etc. The owner/​buyers have excellent taste and you can’t go wrong with a purchase from Karkula.

We live on the same block as Karkula and have stopped in a couple of times to look for lighting and furniture. To say that we were ignored would be an understatement. The staff is completely self-​aborbed and studiedly unfriendly. The last time, the guy never bothered to turn around and acknowledge us … he just sat there with his back to us, staring at his computer.
We will never, ever, step foot back in that store. On to B&B Italia and Poltrona Frau …
