Long John Silver’s

I had the worst Long John experience here. Brought 2 family pack meal, the fish were so salty, we threw away most of it ! What sucks is I alway have wonderful food from Long John. Now I’m afraid to go back !

It’s fast food. It’s fried. In other words it’s hit or miss. Sometimes it’s fresh sometimes not.

No matter what anybody says, I actually like Long John Silver’s a lot. I like to come here for a quick bite when I get the chance.
The fish and chips are always very filling, and that whitefish they have is tender, hot and flaky. Why would you pay so much more to get fish and chips elsewhere that taste the same or not as good? The fries are great too. I always throw a lot of tartar sauce on my fish and wolf it down, even though the food is always piping hot. The hushpuppies are very addictive, and I wish I could just order a huge order of hushpuppies… but that would just be wrong. I often get the baja fish taco as well but I find that there is a little less fish and a little more breading in that.
I like the chicken in that it’s tender and moist, and the skin is hot and crispy, but I wish it was seasoned a little better. Barbecue sauce would help too, but I don’t think they have that here.
