I was so ecstatic to see the establishment of the artBOX Morey’s Piers. 10,000 square foot interactive artists’ colony. Visual and musical arts come together with the traditional loud, upbeat boardwalk way of life. Made up of 11 brightly colored re-purposed shipping containers, [artBOX] boasts artists-in-residence crafting unique works of art and features 5 artist studios and the Exit Zero Store all in a 10,000 square foot space. Guests can observe handpicked regional artists at work in their retooled containers, and browse the paintings and handmade crafts inclduing; surf art, glass blowing and more.
