Yeah, I know, I’m writing a five star review for a Hardees. Part of that is probably because I have to drive three hours north or west to even have access to a Hardees, so when I drive into Wildwood, I’m already whipped up into a Hardees-deprived frenzy. So not only does this restaurant have the standard greaseball fast food of a regular Hardees, it also has a Red Burrito franchise in the same building. That’s right, at one table, I can order a bourbon bacon burger AND a giant beef burrito, with a large fries. And the food, it’s delicious. I realize that if I had the opportunity to eat here more than three or four times a year, I wouldn’t be alive to write this review due to arterial blockage, but being as it is, I love this place. It’s always my first stop after exiting the turnpike. Plus it’s pretty clean, they bring the food to your table, and most of the patrons are from the Villages, so it’s friendly and quiet.

I’ve given this«fast food» restaurant several tries over the last few years. It has the SLOWEST service I have ever encounter at any restaurant anywhere! Don’t bother with this place unless you have at least an hour to spare for lunch just to get a dry reheated burger.
