Been coming here for years with family and never disappoints. Keep up the great work!

Clean, very friendly and accommodating staff and an excellent breakfast. The rye toast was really good as were the home fries and omelet. Cash only. Great spot.

A MUST when at the shore. It has become a family tradition to come to the Doo Wop at least once at the crack of dawn while staying at the shore, cleverly named breakfast treats and all made to perfection.

Been here several times and would normally give this place 5 stars. Pancakes are awesome especially the cinnamon bun version. However on this occasion we found the bacon to be under cooked even after sending it back twice. The other disappoint was the«home fries». It’s is not home fries they are serving but rather very peppery hash browns. For those reasons they are not a 4 star and not a five.

The place is kind of small but don’t let that deter you from amazing service and to die for eats! Wow! This place came highly recommended by a fellow foodie and boy did she get it right. Our party of four chose this breakfast meal as the best meal of our weekend in Wildwood AND Cape May! :-) We enjoyed/devoured The Kramer(Cheesesteak and eggs on a warm, FRESH roll); the Cinnamon roll pancakes(WOWWWWWW on 1,000!); an omelette and eggs with toast. We all cleaned our plates and there was not ONE complaint — not even the ‘Cash Only’ policy will keep us away from this place!(The owner was super grateful for our business and told us so… extra points!) Our waitress(don’t remember her name) was super sweet and seemed genuinely delighted to be serving us. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. Would and WILL go back!

I checked out all the reviews and specifically came here because of it. The breakfasr was very good. My daughter ordered the bananas foster French toast, my oldest daughter ordered the strawberry pancakes, y husband had three eggs over easy with the delicious thin bacon and I had egg whites with toast and pork sausage. Their coffee was also pretty good. My only gripes were the service was not very good. VERYSLOW service. It’s a small place with a nice crowd so it shouldn’t have taken almost ½ an hour after we ordered to get our food. The table next to us was seated 10 minutes after us and got their food 5 minutes before us. The toast was cold and I had to butter it myself. I like my toast warm and the butter melted but the waitress said they serve the butter on the side. Oh and its cash only but the prices are pretty reasonable or similar to most diners. My family really enjoyed the food so because of them they will get four stars.

My friends and I had a great breakfast here! I had a delicious omelet with feta, tomato, and ham. My friends also enjoyed their breakfasts. The bacon was crispy but not burned, and a full glass of orange juice was only $ 2. Just be warned: this place is cash only.

Wow this place is good when it comes to breakfast, I wish I would have found this place years ago when I was down the Wildwoods. When I arrived here I found a parking spot right on the side, but don’t let the front confuse you with the back, the front entrance of the Doo Wop ice cream parlor is in the back. And is connected to the motel. It’s such a cute little place to eat inside and even outside. I ordered coffee, and strawberries and cream French toast. It was so delicious and was definitely filling. And the fruit was fresh. But everything on the menu looked good. Hopefully next time I’m in wildwood I stop by for breakfast. They have everything you need when it comes to breakfast. With reasonable prices. Even if your in the mood for a ice cream sandwiches, they have the GIANT ones for $ 3 for on the way out.

The value wasn’t all that special. For $ 25 for 5 ice creams, I expect to have fantastic portions premium ice cream and service with a smile. I got better than average ice cream, and meh customer service. Not a great selection of flavors(no sorbet for my lactose intolerant daughter) and portions were small for the price.

Came here for a quick breakfast this morning with the hub. We ordered the Kramer and the strawberry short stack. The quality of the food were very satisfying and as expected. What made the experience great were the friendly service and the warning interior.

I’m a little late on my review. We actually ate there last Sunday. Anyhow, looking for a new place for breakfast I saw this on Unilocal. It was a block from our motel. It’s a quaint little place outside of the tangiers, it’s set up like a 50s style soda shop. Lots of nostalgia photos and props. Which keeps your interested while you wait for the food. Service was prompt and attentive. Our server informed us the food is made fresh with freak ingredients. Which was nice. My mother-in-law got the rains bread French toast which look amazing and she loved it. My father-in-law ordered the«Kramer» which is basically a cheesesteak omelet in a fresh hogie roll. I got the classic Kramer which is the same as the Kramer but with home fries and bacon mixed in with the cheesesteak omelet. We both agreed it was delicious. My wife got the cinnamon roll pancakes. And now she is craving them. They were that good. If you look at the menu you can see some of the amazing creations they came up with. It does take a little longer for your food but once you taste it you know each dish is made from scratch. We will be back

Reminder, this is coming from eating there off-season(late September). We ended up having breakfast both mornings we staying near by, since the first day’s hangover breakfast experience there was so good. The service was great and our food came out in a timely manner. The place had a great vibe to it, which had to do with the décor and the folks working there. It was also nice that the TV was tuned-in to the MLB channel, so I could see how my Orioles did the night before.

We all got pancakes — they were ok — a little spongy. The staff was hurried and polite — but for some reason didn’t have any time to calmly take our order. When it came to pay: Cash Only — my favorite; the manager /owner freaked out on the people waiting to eat at the restaurant. I think everyone was in the wrong there — but it made me want to get my family out of there quick.

In my never ending search for good breakfasts down the shore, I stumbled upon the DOOWOPCAFE in Wildwood Crest. It’s in the TANGIERSMOTEL. The owner’s of the Tangiers are really cool and although I haven’t stayed there yet, it seems very nice and well run. But this review is about the restaurant. The man who runs the Doo Wop has been doing it along with his family for 10 years. I would highly recommend a visit here. Its clean, cute, well run and the food is very good. Since its family run the service is good and predictable. The seem to have pretty good hours too. You can see the pride he takes in his business. The service was good and I have to admit the best coffee in the Wildwoods. What’s their secret??? Ice Cream: He has a very nice selection if you just want a treat at night time. I took a bunch of brochures back to my hotel to hand out because all of us «down the shore«types(don’t cause us shoobies, LOL) love to live like the locals and enjoy good food, served with a smile and priced right.
