This place was wonderful, but has been closed 3 – 4 years. Why is is still on the Unilocal listing? Needs to be deleted. Place that replaced it is not nearly as good and much more pricey. Gave it a couple of chances and not going back.

I loved Crivello’s. However, they closed. I am now sitting in the new restaurant(Tesoro) and am waiting to see if they even hold a candle to Crivello.

They ARESTILL in business. Called and going there tonight. Haven’t been there in years so can’t miss out on their bruschetta!!! They are under a new name«Tesoro», and ownership, but the same chef and a few of the same employees from many years ago. One of the waitresses even remembers me from six years back!!! Same great service, and the small band was just setting up as I was picking up my order to go. Food was delicious as I remembered it six years ago!!! Thanks guys!!!

I absolutely love this place, my boyfriend of two years introduced this to me and let me know that I am the first woman other than his mother he has taken here, it’s special to him. Anyways, this is my favorite Italian place ever. The people always greet us right when we walk in and ask where we prefer to sit. The restaurant is split in two sides a quaint dining area and then the bar/live music area. Depending on the night we like to sit on either side. The few times we sat on the bar side it was shockingly not to loud to hold a conversation while here. But I do prefer the dining side, as we usually come here every 6 months as a little treat, and it’s more romantic. The food is to die for, we always order the bruschetta and it’s my favorite from here. I have ordered the calamari and shrimp appetizer as well and unfortunately was not too pleased with it as it had 3 pieces of shrimp other than that amazing. I always get either Cheese Ravioli and Alfredo Sauce or Gnocchi Gorgonzola and I am never disappointed. My boyfriend orders some form of tortellini every time and is always exceptionally pleased with it. We both get wine however it is not my favorite but good enough. I have also ordered the crème brûlée once and was very pleased with it. I am picky with my crème brûlée. We brought a couple here with us once and they absolutely loved it as well they were bummed out they found it right before they were making a big move to Texas.

If your not a local & don’t know Crivello’s Reataurant we recommend that you try it. Best Steaks in the Entire Temecula Valley… If you want the best they have to offer order the Rib-Eye with the Gongonzola cream sauce on the side. $ 2 extra but well worth it. The Ceasar Salad is a great starter or Shrimp Cocktail. Ask for the house bread & sit at the bar for the best experience. Red wine by the glass will not dissapoint becuase the owner Robert has great taste. The Martini’s from the bar are highly recommended. My wife & I have dinned at Crivellos for over 10 years & never had a bad experience. Suggestion, would recommend weekends in the bar with the band/live music. Week nights may be best in the Dining Room unless there is a band in the bar. As far as atmosphere, if you want a quiet date dinner the dining room is the way to go. Any pasta dish is a great bet !! See ya there.

Decided to give Crivello a try and wanted to check out Happy Hour before dinner. We arrived on a Thursday around 6. While waiting for a hostess we noticed there are two separate rooms. One appeared to be the main dining area while the one behind it looked like the bar room. Hostess indicated for us to go the that back room which is the bar for Happy Hour. This room is a darkly lit area with drab furnishings and lacked any piped in stereo music. Typical set up of a bar counter and a couple of tables behind it. We opted for a small table since the few seats at the tiny bar didn’t allow the two of us to sit together among the few senior citizens. After the bartender spent time eyeing us yet making no attempt to come over and the hostess/server passed us by repeatedly in this nearly deserted bar, she finally informs us that we must sit directly at the bar counter for the H.H. specials. Seems as though the bar staff is just too lazy to walk around the other side to take a drink order. No problem Crivello, D’Canter’s down the street met our needs perfectly and got our $ 90 for two of us which could’ve been yours :)

Short and sweet(for me anyway!)…dropped in late last night for dinner, the place was empty except for one couple and a small group of locals at the bar. Calamari? A smidge overcooked so a little disappointed, but the best marinara I have ever had!(I do not like marinara by the way). Bf ordered the lasagna and he liked it. I asked the waitress what she recommended that had no pasta… she asked why. Really?! Nosey waitress! So glad she was. I explained to her that I am diabetic and pasta puts my blood sugar through the roof. She then tells me… wait for it… they offer a gluten free pasta!!! Oh happy day. Decent for a gluten free and with their yummy putanessca. I now have a place to go and be able to enjoy pasta with some fab sauces. If you have Celiac disease you may need to be a little leary but for me it is heaven sent.

Delicious! I recently moved to Wildomar and have been in search of proper Italian food. Crivello’s is by far the best place I’ve been to. I very much enjoyed my dinner, the staff was helpful, friendly, and nice! The food was presented gorgeously and tasted divine. The bread — OMG it’s good(fresh rosemary baked right in)! And both the salad and soup are delicious! I ordered the Veal Toscana and it was soooo good! Great sauce, fresh ingredients– I will absolutely return. :)

I can not begin to tell you how disappointed I was when I went in there last night with my friends to eat and listen to the live music. I sat at the bar right in front of a silver haired man who I found out was the owner. I watched him walk back and forth in front of me and he did not even look my way for a good 10 minutes??? Finally, I had to ask him if I could order a Chard and a glass of water? He never asked me what he could get for me? He never asked me if I would like to order food… I had to ask him could I order some food? The food came and I had chicken, mushrooms and garlic bread and it was very good. He never asked me if I would like another wine? So I got out my charge card and held it up in front of me for a good 5 – 10 minutes and finally he looked at me and asked me if I wanted my bill… I had heard that the food and the music was very good… I refuse to go to a place and spend my hard earned money to be treated like crap… to bad because I expect to be treated right when spending my money in the local eateries. I get better service at the(yuk) Olive Garden! I WILLNOTGOBACK!

Thought it was so great to have an italian restaurant in town, but was dissapointed. Was greeted and seated in a timely matter, had the drink order taken, and then the waitress was gone. When we finally got out our drinks, took our order, and the food came-I couldn’t believe the time I wasted. The food tasted like it came out of a can. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The more I come here the more I love it. I just had the Penne Al Pesto but asked to use fettucini and add shrimp. It was no problem and it was wonderful, but next time I will say light on the sauce– but thats just me. Staff is nice. The Crème Brulee was also awesome. I do not recommend the cheesecake unless you’re really craving it, try something else instead.

So sweet… Beautiful food and very good staff. Hard to find a good Italian spot thats not infused with this crazy«experimental» attitude. Traditional flavors and that damn fine bread. Nom NOMMMMMMS! Thank you for a great experience! Kachow!

Went last night with my huband and another couple. We had never been, and I was looking forward to some good Italian food, as I was told it was by my friends. We were all very disappointed! I ordered a coke, shrimp cocktail appetizer, signature salad, pesto ravioli and crème brûlée. Coke was bad. Too much soda, not enough syrup. Shrimp cocktail was good. Cocktail sauce was spiced just right and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Salad was great! Perfect combination of flavors and just the right amount of dressing(the salad wasn’t drowning in it). My ravioli was BLAND! The pesto was tasteless, like they forgot the garlic. Seriously. I only ate half of it. Crème brûlée was the worst I have ever had. It was absolutely tasteless. I sent it back, as did my friend, and they removed them from the bill. Husband said his chicken parm was chewy. Friends weren’t thrilled with their experience at all. We walked out and friend said, «Well, that’s off the list». Service was fine. Not worth visiting again. We will not be back.

Chicken Tuscana… there you have it. The food is fresh and oh so yummmmmyyy(yes, a technical term). I have been there twice and each time the food is outstanding! We also shared the calamari, which comes with their marinara sauce. Not too strong, great tang, not too sweet. I always get their house Chianti to drink. Its a good price(cause truth be told, I eat on a budget) and pleasing to my palate. The first time I went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The second time wasn’t a special day, not too busy, but a good crowd and our server was awful… wish I could remember her name! She not only forgot things she offered to our table, but I saw her do it to another table! She catered to a larger table… probably because mathematically her tip would come out larger… WOW, shows her knowledge of good customer service! Nonetheless, the food is great and its a quaint spot for a nice dinner not too far from home.

This is the go-to place for so many people in the area, especially Bear Creek residents. It’s a better place to go grab a drink and dinner in the bar than sit in the main dining room. Some places are just like that. We get take out a lot and are always pleased.

I am only reviewing the food. I have lived out here 8 yrs, and I had seen this restaurant but never ventured in until 4 months ago. I was craving Italian and this one was on our way home, so we called for takeout. Yes, I felt it was a bit pricey for the portion, but overall, the quality of the pasta and sauces were good and somewhat flavorful. We tried their marinara, and alfredo, and if I remember correctly, salads were included. For easy takeout, I’d visit here again. It’s not as generic as Olive Garden, but an easy go-to for decent Italian flavor. For ambiance, I honestly can’t say. Just the appeal of this corner lot, a random-looking shopping center that never seems very lively… is very lacking. I was drawn more to the restaurant by their online menu, I remember, once I had to look them up specifically. I’m surprised it’s not shared here on Unilocal!yet, so for those curious, check it out:

I have been frequenting this restaraunt for many many years. The food is always outstanding and the service is fantastic. Robert & Sebastian have created a wonderful atmosphere with a diverse menu. My wife put together a dinner there last night to celebrate my birthday. Over 20 people, the staff and kitchen handled it with ease. Add to that, Jen is the best bartender in the valley! Thanks to all for a wonderful evening and a birthday to remember for the ages.

As the first reviewer said, the service was very slow. We had done take out on our first visit and the food was Fantastic! On our second visit I decided to take some family & friends. There was only one server for both the bar & main seating, so we wait 20 min before we got our drinks, an hour for the salad, &20 min more for the main meal. The food wasn’t as good this time around, but the live band«Blue Fish» was a great touch. I will try once more to see if service & food improve. The manager also didn’t seem to care about the wait times & never bothered to see how his few ‘eating’ guest where doing. There is some great possibilities here, let’s see if they take advantage of them.
