We love Shayna’s! Fresh sandwiches and salads with high quality ingredients. Let’s not forget the juices and smoothies– my personal favorite is the «Starving Artist.» Best of all, Shayna always greets you with a smile!

With all sincerity I can say that Shayna’s Place is the best café I have ever been to. The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the owners and employees were so warm and gracious that we intend on becoming regular customers. The food and drinks are well-​made and well-​priced, and the people working there are truly good people.

After all the stellar reviews I couldn’t help but try this place. So on walk in Wickford I decided to get one of their sandwiches. I chose the Gilbert Stuart which was very good, but a small sandwich for the price, as are all of them I saw there. Although this place really touts their relying strictly on the freshest ingredients, (don’t they all), I tasted no real difference between the quality of this sandwich in comparison to other places locally and about. There is no question as to why this place is doing well in Wickford. It’s just the kind of place they want there. Something seemingly special, expensive, and a little snobby. This place wouldn’t last a week competing with a real New York style deli… That all being said, the sandwich I had was not bad at all, but just not enough of it to justify the price. I was especially annoyed at quantity of real meat in any of the sandwiches I saw, including my own. This place likes to pile on the fixen’s and add little in the way of real meat. Although you won’t find any real specialty sandwiches up the street at «The Place», you will do much better there with quantity as well as being darn good tasting.

Great addition to Wickford. Excellent sandwiches, drinks, really fresh ingredients. Also love the fresh juices. Nice healthy spot.

AWESOME! Such a great business. Amazing people, great quality food and a lovely atmosphere. Must try the avocado toast. It’s the perfect portion and full of flavor. The varieties of tea are great. There is something here for everyone! Don’t forget to say hi to Shayna, such a sweet girl, keep up the awesome work and service.

I’ve been twice and everything was amazing. The decorating is adorable, simple and relaxed. Last week I had a lox sandwich on a bagel-​delicious! Crispy yet tender exterior, perfectly proportioned lox/​salmon/​onion ratio. Others in my party ordered the acai bowl and the avocado toast, both of which were excellent. Today I had the baby kale salad with the pear vinaigrette, a cucumber beet ginger juice, and finished with an apple fritter. Amazing.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends!

I’ve thought so many times since moving to NK:
«You know… It’s all great and cool that between Brown and Main Streets there’s approximately 37 little boutiques selling assorted knick-knack’s, balls of yarn, women’s clothes, used jewelry and paintings of cats — but this area could really use an awesome, locally owned coffee shop with some tasty treats!»
And like magic one day, there it was.
So nestled right in between what was formely Wilson’s and that little park before you get to the marina, you’ll find the best coffee spot in Wickford and potentially in all of NK (apologies to Updike’s Newtown and Jitters).
First things first, they just have some damn good coffee. Good flavor, a little kick and always piping hot; the java here would of kept me coming back. However Shayna’s has a killer breakfast and lunch menu. If you stop in for the first time, you just need to try the avocado toast. Smashed Avocado+Multi-grain bread+Sprouts+Pepper/Salt+Olive oil = pure deliciousness. Now if you’re stupid enough not to get that, your ass better try the lox bagel. I grew up with lox bagels in NYC and they’re hard to come by in Little Rhody — Shayna’s take on it is perfect. Good bagels, fresh lox, just the right ratio of capers and fixins’ on it. If all else fails … they get donuts fresh from Allie’s!
The staff here is great (it’s all one family), there is always some chilled out beats playing and the seating is perfect to just post up and chat with someone, get some reading in or knock out some work.

Absolutely delicious, great menu, wonderful décor/​ambiance, fantastic service… just superb all around. I had the peace train sandwich and it was exactly what I was hoping for – lots of flavor and actually filled me up (so hard to find good, flavorful, healthy & filling vegetarian options, especially in a small town like Wickford)! Perfect addition to the village. Will definitely be eating there regularly from now on!

Such a lovely spot! The whole thing is good — healthy food and great treats too — Allies Donuts;) BUt nice smoothies and good coffee. I drink it without dairy so they even have soy milk. Lovely sweet Shayna is the DJ and does a nice job on playing smoothe oldies– I grew up in this town and it NEEDED a nice spot to meet up with friends and have a nice lunch or a coffee and a pastry — it’s really bringing some joy to wickford.

Nice clean atmosphere with quality food, attention to detail, a friendly service. Great acai bowls too.

Quick lunch on a Sunday just before catching a flight home.

I’ve only had lunch there, but it was really good, and the staff is super nice and friendly. I ordered a salad for lunch but don’t remember what kind — I loved it anyway. My friend ordered the most delicious looking sandwich on the most fabulous looking bread and it was so huge she took half of it home. That’s what I call a sandwich. Cheery, clean and friendly, decent prices, great food — that’s all it really takes for me. I’m a fan and I WILL be back soon. A hearty welcome to Wickford, Shayna’s. Wickford REALLY needed you!

Loved the lox bagel sandwich and I got an iced caramel macchiato. Everything was so good! Staff is super pleasant and prices are super reasonable. Such an adorable little coffee shop with a great reason behind it. I love it and I will be back!

Good food and good atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly. They serve their coffee strong, which is how I like it, and it is New Harvest coffee which is a good quality brand. The baked goods come from local bakeries with good reputations and are always good. The salad I had was delicious and the sandwiches are too.
Out of their control is the fact that most of Wickford is on a septic system and so all the businesses send their patrons to the public facilities out back which are close by and fairly well maintained.
For studying there is wi-​fi, strong coffee, music, plenty of tables, and many food and drink options.

Shayna’s Place is relatively small but beautifully designed with a great layout and atmosphere. I only had a mocha but the coffee was delicious and the baristas were very friendly. They even allow dogs inside!

After finding out that Shayna’s offered organic Acai bowls I had to try them. With the lack of Acai Bowls on the east coast, I will travel from the PVD to Pickford to enjoy one. My husband and I came here on a lazy Sunday afternoon and was met with great service and a yummy lunch.
I think a huge plus of Shayna’s is the über adorable and trendy décor. A touch of shabby, a touch of chic and all around homey and comfortable. The food/​drink bar area is laden with delicious looking goodies, including none other but Allie’s Donuts! A RI favorite!
The acai bowl was very good — my only caveat being that it was a little liquid-​ey for my taste. The toppings were amazing though, complete with chia seeds. I guess I just prefer my acai with an ice cream like texture — but hey any acai is better than none! Other items on their menu looked just as yummy and we can’t wait to get back to try. It’s a perfect little cozy spot for a lazy afternoon date.

What a great place to eat and just hang out. The sandwiches are so fresh and made to perfection. The salads are fresh and dressing is light and so flavorful. Their motto is «love is all you need» and the food goes along with the motto. Made with love. This is a family run business and the owner goes from table to table checking on how you like the food. I also had an ice coffee which was bold and delish! This place reminded me of the cafes in Oahu Hawaii. I felt like I was on the island. Shayna is the daughter of the owner who is there to offer love and hugs. My grandson has DS and so doesn’t Shayna so that made my experience all the better. Love is really all you need.

Incredible new eatery in histiruc Wickford. The atmosphere was fresh, the menue has something for everyone. My first and favorite was the bee nana… oh yummm… reminded me of my grandmother. multigrain bread bananas peanutbutter. and honey… oh my. a good place to be. Prices are just about on target for the area! Best wishes to Shayna!
