Jimmy’s Egg

Pretty good food. Everything came just as I ordered. My boyfriends meat lovers skillet was very lacking in meat. Awesome homemade bread. Crappy service. Very nice waitresses, they just seemed extremely overwhelmed. Not sure if the issue was management, or the kitchen. They seemed to be fully staffed. The tables on either side of us had completely messed up orders. I felt bad for the families, who either got their food 20 minutes apart, or not at all. The staff was very apologetic, but didn’t offer to take anything off. The tables are so close together, we couldn’t help but notice. Other than our service being extremely slow, and non existent water refills, our order wasn’t messed up. If they get their service under control, I would return.

Very good bread.
Server was attentive without being overbearing, and was super chill about how I wanted biscuits and gravy AND bread instead of hash browns or something. She was friendly and available despite being busy.
And seriously the homemade white toast is awesome.

This place was amazing. My family and I went for a family outing. I had the biscuit debris with hash browns. The service was a little slow, but our server was so nice and helpful. Even though this restaurant is in a bad neighborhood my family loved it. Some of the food is a little questionable but overall this place is great. Just a note the kids menu is on the third page in the actual menu, but the coloring page is completely separate. I hope my review was helpful — Jillian

Every time you go expect slow service and decent food. Staff is typically friendly yet also often unenthusiastic when it comes to refilling drinks or getting the check.

Today we came to this Jimmy’s egg and everything was horrible! We came in and waited 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Then once our food arrived everything was wrong! There was pickles in one of the omelets, one plate of food was completely under cooked. My husband ordered the chicken fingers. He got three tiny fingers and 6 fries. When the manager came to talk to us, she didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The excuse we got for our food not being cooked was «we were busy». I had to get the managers attention from across the restaurant to get our check after 30 minutes of waiting. Never have I had such a bad experience here.

My first time to a Jimmy’s Egg. They were featuring a 3-​egg «garbage omelet» so I decided to try it. I LOVE onions so I ordered it with extra onion with a side of hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was above average.
OMG…it was perfect for my taste buds… each bite accented with a bit of extra onion along with a great mix of other ingredients. The portions were so generous I simply didn’t touch the biscuits and gravy… too much food! (but it sure looked good). My friend made it further than me and enjoyed some of his biscuits and gravy and remarked how good it all was.
