Fazoli’s

Went tonight with my husband cause I was in the mood for something pasta-​ish. I got the Baked Cheese Ziti and he got two slices of pepperoni pizza. Our order came with free breadsticks and I think that was the best thing about the whole dinner.
My pasta was okay. It had too much cheese, though, and that is saying something cause I LOVE cheese. The husband’s pizza was frozen pizza quality, at best.
While the place wasn’t really dirty, it wasn’t clean either. Several tables needed to be wiped down and some chairs were sticky. The woman who took our order was not very nice either. Not rude, but just so-​so.
The worse experience of the dinner, though, was the «plating» of the food. Mine was in a little tin pie-​pan type dish and it was fine. The pizza, though, was half-​hazardly put on two paper pizza sleeves, but was half hanging off onto the tray (which may or may not be clean). And the free breadsticks were just thrown on top of everything. I was shocked!
The one last drawback was that they don’t serve Dr. Pepper. Okay for some… but I hate Mr. Pibb.
All in all, it was an okay dinner… but it’s not a place we’ll be jumping to go back to.
