Other than some drab carpeting I had no complaints after a 4 day stay on business. Bed comfortable, room clean, decent breadfast, friendly staff. I can’t ask for much more from a hotel costing this much.

This was my best stay to date at a Best Western. The hotel is either very new or recently, completely refurbished. The staff who work here are very friendly and attentive. The accommodations are comfortable, and the indoor pool area, gym room, and dining area are nice and well-maintained. The hot breakfast is plentiful and is kept fresh and well-stocked throughout the morning. The large, flat screen TV in the room is new with good reception and the WiFi is reliable. It’s also in a good location for easy-on, easy-off the I-35. Check in is a breeze. What’s not to like? A great value. Highly recommended.

This place is fine, we didn’t make reservations, we just walked in and they had 2 rooms left. It was a nice big room w/a king sized bed and a pull out bed in the couch so the kids slept there. The room is clean everything was fine, beds were comfy and staff was nice.

We stay here often. It is a nice hotel for the money. Nothing fancy but it’s comfortable, friendly, and they accept pets.

Don’t try exiting the freeway to loop under(hotel is on the left) as your instincts tell you to. Stay in the left lane and turn left at the lights — otherwise you end up on 2 toll roads getting mocked by the toll booth *insert mean word here*. Check in was quick and friendly, our room was on the ground floor, we had a microwave and fridge in our room — which is excellent and the room was huge. The pillows suck, the walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING through them. The AC unit seems to be there for ‘show’ more than anything, the room was hot, and it would appear that the temperature sensor is above the door, the coolest part of the room, so if the AC unit does work, it’s getting bad signals from inside the room. We were up from 2am — 4am cause the room was so stuffy and hot. There was no one at the front desk for us to check out — so we had to wait for 10 minutes until someone appeared who got someone else to help us. Ugh. The free breakfast was basic and as many reviewers have said, it could do with a few bowls of fresh cut fruit. Indoor pool is fab. Free internet was good and free parking. For the priceline price we paid, this place was a bargain — in spite of the flaws.

We stayed there last night and the room was very clean & a good size. The bathroom counter was very large, which was nice. There’s a large pool and an exercise room. Also, the breakfast was somewhat better than most of the junky stuff usually found at chain hotels. The front desk person this morning was particularly friendly. The big negative(and the reason why I’m giving three stars instead of four) is that the hotel’s construction is *horrendous* and therefore the noise level was really bad. We kept hearing(*feeling*) the person(s) above us walk around their room(it sounded more like *stomping*) and we also kept hearing the voices of the people in the next room. We could even hear creaking when we walked around *our* room(despite the carpeting and our constant attempts to walk lightly). The pillows were very uncomfortable(just as an aside) — but regardless, the construction is abysmal.

I was torn between four or five stars but if taken for what it is, a non-luxury well priced room, I had to go with five… We stayed twice, one night on each leg of a TX /IA round-trip. We plan to make it our regular stop. The staff was helpful and nice, room clean and spacious, pool area clean with plenty of towels, and breakfast was at 6am and tasty. Mind you this is not an upscale hotel so keep expectations in the correct mind-set. It was perfect for us and the kids. Side note: if you have kids, avoid the Logan’s restaurant nearby.

Decent clean hotel. We used a room with two double beds and a room with a king bed and sitting area. I could always here people walking on the floor above us, and especially in the hall outside the room. Everything was good enough… but the pillows? The worst… some kind of half cut puffy thing… I slept without it after a sore neck the first night.

Totally go here… …if you like ghosts! My boyfriend and I drove across the country and stayed a night here. It was a creepy night. We couldn’t even get into our room for about half an hour. The key card didn’t work nor did any of the back ups. Luckily, there were two entrances into the room(creepy) so we were able to use the other entrance. Then, we went to the lobby, which is this giant room with a piano, a TV and couch. Creepy piano music is playing and there’s no one around. We heard so many bumps in the night and were glad to leave. I would go back here in the hopes of finding a ghost, but other than that, I don’t think so.

#205 For its hotel category, this Best Western is top notch. It was built rather recently, I’d say in the last 2 – 3 years, and you can definitely tell in terms of the quality of its facilities. It’s a bit difficult to find while driving on the highway, since the highway itself is new and the navigation systems might not be updated. So, I recommend calling them when you’re within 3 – 4 miles to get more accurate directions. As for the front desk, everyone is incredibly helpful, proof that they deserved their 2009 award for excellent service. I’m also a fan of all of their guest facilities being built in the same easy access area on the first floor — dining area, business office, pool, and gym — all just steps away from the front desk. The rooms themselves are gorgeous. All of the furniture is brand-new and the carpeting is plush. They have flat-screen TVs and high-speed internet access, as well. Their complimentary shampoo and conditioner are actually provided by Pantene, so points for that! I will say though, the width of the room seems to be just a smidge too small. With the high ceilings, it makes the room feel a bit too narrow for 4 people. Regardless, thumbs up!
