Wait time to be seen by doctor is exceedingly outrageous! Two hours have passed and still haven’t see the doctor. If it wasn’t for having to do post eye surgery check up I would have left by now! The kicker is, they only validate 1 hour of parking… Go figure!!!

Dr. May did my Lasik in 2006, and my vision is still perfect. He only did one eye at a time, and he had me come in for many check-​ups after the procedure.
The procedure was performed at USC hospital, where Dr. May is a professor. This is a good sign, in my opinion, since he is obviously an expert in his field.
Also, since he performs the procedures at the hospital, he does not have to try to «recruit» patients to amortize an expensive Lasik machine. Therefore, he is able to be selective with his patients, and only perform Lasik or similar eye procedures on suitable candidates.
I am very happy with him! And I am so happy with the result. My vision was so poor, and now, these many years later, it is still perfect due to Dr. May.

Dr. May is not the cheapest doctor around; However, Dr. May cares a lot about his patients and tries to be as safe as possible. He refused to do Lasik on me because he said that I had too many eye problems for Lasik/​similar eye procedures. He told me to never let anyone talk me into Lasik because I was too high risk. This is after spending his office time/​free tests in preparation for the Lasik consult. I don’t know if Dr. May still does free Lasik consult, but if he does, you should totally meet him to see if he is the right Lasik surgeon for you. Price is important, but then again, so are your eyes.

Great eye doctor, he is the head of the USC lasik surgery and has won many awards throughout his career. I come here because I have chronic dry eye, and eye allergies.

I choose Dr. May to do my Lasik after having a consultation with 2 other doctors. Dr. May wasn’t the cheapest but not the most expensive either. He made me feel really comfortable and confident that I was choosing the best doctor to do my procedure. The other doctors I consulted with only wanted to see me the day before and the day after my surgery, in addition to the day of the surgery. Dr. May has had me come in multiple times for check ups since my procedure. Dr. May only does one eye at a time which may be inconvenient to some people who prefer to get it all done at once. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Dr. May to anyone considering lasik. I think he is the best. He’s been doing lasik for a long time. Longer than a lot of other doctors.
