This place is beyond amazing. Awesome customer service, knowledge about cloth diapering, and natural products. The owner was very helpful in picking out an amber necklace for my son and is going to make sucker pads for my Tula carrier. My husband commented that he’s a gamer and my conversation with the owner was the geekiest conversation he’s ever heard. It was really nice to talk to a real life person about cloth diapering and alternative medicines.

Been here twice. First time was GREAT! The male owner helped my mom and I out and told us all of the awesome stuff they handmade and answered any and all questions we had. This was back in June. Went in today, and there was a black lady working. She was helping another customer but didn’t even once acknowledge us or say that she would be right with us. Stood there for about ten minutes waiting to cash out with what we wanted and needed help finding one other item. Still not acknowledged. We gave up and walked out.

As a new mom I have a LOT of questions and concerns in how to take care of my baby boy and I am very glad to know that the staff at this store can help. David is always willing to explain the purpose of his products and share his own experiences with them. What I like most is that I am never pressured to buy. The differences between products are explained to me and all this makes me feel extremely comfortable and at ease at this store. So far, I have purchased the Baby K’tan, very cute outfits, cloth wipes, a few teethers, and most recently the amber necklace. I can’t wait to try some of their new oils soon. I definitely recommend this place to all new mom!

This place is awesome! I’m so glad I took the advice of my sister to make the drive here. I’ve been wanting to cloth diaper for a few months now but with all the information out there it’s an overwhelming and daunting task! I had heard great things about the staff here from not only my sister and Unilocal but from baby groups on Facebook too! They were right on! David is so informative, understanding and helpful! He even got my husband on board and excited(not easy to do). I’m going back tomorrow for an essential oil class and like my husband told David I’ll definitely be back for more!

I was recommended to come in by a friend. I am new to cloth diapering and this place is exactly where I needed to go! David was detailed and helpful with all I needed and all the questions I had. He encouraged me to call with whatever questions I may have as I start my new diapering process. Love this place!

As much as I try to be a total supporter of shopping local, I have to admit, I’m an absolute whore for Amazon Prime. And that’s what I thought I’d be doing for cloth diapers for Miles, until I was absolutely overwhelmed by the world of cloth diapers(file that under words I never thought would come out of my mouth). That’s when I turned to The Tender Tush. It’s so, so, so, so, truly, so much better than ordering online. «Yeah right,» you say. «I’m an online shopping expert,» you say. Well, I have to tell you, you’re wrong, ma’am. Once you dip your toe in the world of cloth diapering forums online and try to make sense of all of the crazy acronyms and brands and ways to cloth diaper, you’ll be running to The Tender Tush too. As soon as we walked in and David greeted us, I immediately felt less stressed out. This guy knows all there is to know about the world of cloth diapers and knows how to simplify it for stressed out pregnant soon-to-be moms like me. He showed us a few of the options and explained the major differences, explained how to care for them and told us about their packages. You can get an entire starter kit from them complete with wipes and detergent and wet bag, and that’s what we opted for — and the price is right there with the online prices, that’s what really surprised me. You get all of this amazing service and they still have about the same prices as Amazon? Hot damn! When the diapers arrived they offered to deliver them, and once again had exemplary service. David was always super speedy to reach by email and even to this day has offered help with any issues I may have with figuring out the diapers. They’re actually super simple to use and, surprisingly, not nearly as gross as I feared. If you’re even slightly considering doing cloth diapers, I recommend The Tender Tush as your one and only stop.

Im so thankful that David & his wife decided to open their store here in East Whittier. I was looking for a baby store that had natural Earth friendly supplies, to my luck i found it. I’ve been using the Amber necklaces on my 5 month son and the bracelet on my seven year old son. I’ve noticed significant changes on both of them. They’re calm and at easy. :)

This is the best cloth diaper boutique in both Orange County and Los Angeles areas! I used to buy my Rockin’ Green from Amazon until I realized that TTT carries it for just as great a deal and I don’t have to wait a few days. Also, the owners make their own cloth wipes, nursing covers, wet bags, and other products and they are very affordable! I high recommend them for diapers, natural products, amber necklaces, clothes, and special events for baby.

Cloth diapers for babies… used to be common, not anymore, though, this store is looking to change that.(At least for it’s customers.) Some people think«the old ways» are better. some people do not, though this store seems have all the«Old Ways» for the«Right Reasons»…with the«Right» reasons being that cloth diapers Are more environmentally conscious than diapers that sit in landfills. 5⁄5

My husband, mother and I stopped by the Tender Tush for some diaper covers for our diaper service. David was so informative and helpful we decided to not use the service and buy diapers for home! We will definitely be back. Love this shop.

This place is a godsend! The owner is super helpful and personsable. We had an issue with our cloth diapers that we had purchased somewhere else, not fitting my string bean newborn baby. Luckily we found this place, and they went above and beyond to get us a new stash that would fit and at a great price. The place also has the cutest stuff! So glad the store is right in our city!!!

A lot of these reviews are raving about Sophia but I have to rave about her hubby David. I went in to check it out and David was awesome, explaining to me the benefits for several nighttime diapering options. He was also proud to show me several wipes, wet bags and liners he sewed himself! I was very impressed. He gave me a 10% off discount(for checking in there was a 10% off deal if you spent over $ 60 but I only spent about $ 20) so that was nice and he threw in a few of his cloth wipes. Very awesome place if you are thinking about cloth diapers and are overwhelmed with the options, come here and let them help you. You will be glad you came!

I have to say Tender Tush is one of my favorite cloth diaper stores in the area. Great customer service, the owner Sophia is extremely friendly, personable and knowledgable. They have a good selection of products that are always in stock. I’ve been her three time and they’ve had what I needed ever time! Great store great product and fantastic service! You must check Tender Tush out.

I went here today looking for some accessories for my cloth diaper stash. Sophia couldn’t have been more nice and helpful. This store is a great and much needed addition to the area. I was able to get a bumgenius diaper sprayer for $ 10 less than I’ve seen it anywhere else and also got a few microfiber inserts that I’ve been meaning to get. Sophia even threw in a free fruit and veggie wash just for the heck of it. I’ll definitely be checking this store out again when I’m in the area.

I have a 4 month old and I use the Luludew diaper service but I love getting new covers and I didn’t know Whittier had it’s own great baby boutique! Sophia was very nice when I stumbled upon this place via Unilocal.I’ve definitely driven past it a million times and never seen it but I’m so glad I have now! It’s next to Norm’s between Mills and Colima and has parking right up front which is great with a heavy car seat carrier and sleeping baby. I’ll definitely be back! And I’m letting everyone know about this place!

I have 2 boys and Am now pregnant with my baby girl! I never considered cloth diapering, my fam always made it seem like back in the day cloth diapers were such a dirty messy hassle, so I never put any thought into it. Walking into the tender tush and seeing all the different prints N colors pushed me to ask questions and find out more. Sophia explained how it works, how much it costs, and reassured me it’s not as dirty and gross as my mom n grandma said it is, in fact it’s quite easy(once u get the hang of it). After much thought, weighing out pros and cons I returned to the tender tush to purchase my newborn diapers and I must say I have not been so excited about baby poop! I can not wait until my baby girl is here to use these absolutely adorable cloth diapers. I purchased 15 cloth diapers and I can’t wait to add more to my collection. THANKYOUSOPHIA! I’m going to be saving money(well maybe not because I think I may become a cloth diaper addict lol) saving the environment, saving my baby girl from diaper rash, and she will be looking super stylish and oh so cute in cloth. If you are even slightly considering cloth diapering I would definitely recommend visiting the tender tush n check out what they have!

My friend Anna and I had heard about The Tender Tush opening via Craigslist but hadn’t had a chance to make the trek to Whittier… until her baby was in between sizes and it was time to do some shopping for some more brands that would fit. Expecting baby #7, I wasn’t against checking out a new local store and seeing what kind of diapers I could find to add to my stash. We had a great time chatting and talking, and Sophia was a doll to work with — we both walked out very happy with our purchases and will be back soon! I love being able to see diapers in person and get a chance to feel them and play with them before buying — and not having to pay shipping is always a plus! I wish this store the best of luck and hope they stay in business for a long time to come!
