since i had the incident, I’ve tried to contact the manager, they never have one at hand, I’ve been denied a manager or contact to anyone, when ask to speak to supervisor, there is always an excuse. followed by being hung up on. i will be filling another BBB report. the code there is disgusting and there is nothin authentic about that food or service.

Came to this Mexican spot on a Sunday around 12 in the afternoon. Parking lot has some tight spaces so be careful. The inside seemed to be well cleaned, with about 5 tvs or so throughout the place. You have to wait to he seated, so when you get there just walk up to the counter and put your name down. We had a little wait, but nothing too crazy. We had just sat down and a waitress helping another table seen us, and sent for someone to get us a menu. We ordered drinks and food all at once and it came out in a timely manner. I ordered the chorizo and eggs with flour tortilla and a horchata. I was craving it all morning, and it tasted pretty good. I see alot of bad reviews about this place, but my experience was good. They make sure chips are on your table and your drinks are filled up, and very friendly servers.

My bf and I came here while waiting for our laundry at the laundromat next door. When we walked in we were stared at instead of greeted. Our«waitress» seemed like she didn’t want to be there and we sort of felt rushed to order. After she brought us our food she never came back to our table. We had to flag down another waitress for a refill. The prices are okay. Service sucks and the meat I had in my burrito(Carne asada) was very very salty, I couldn’t even stomach it after a while.

We just happened in to this place today. I ordered the chicken torta. It came as an average tasting grilled chicken sandwich. No beans, and the chicken was sliced very thin. It turned out to be mostly bread. The severs were very friendly and attentive. Prices were average. The Restaurant and Restrooms were very clean. It’s kind of hidden away but worth looking for. I would return to try the tacos, if in the area again.

I been coming here with my family for 6yrs. Today I walked with family and friends. The place was empty and looked like they were cleaning up. I ask what time they closed they said in a hr which I understand its the holidays. The server seemed to be bothered that we sat then we could hear the chef saying let them know we are closing. They seemed bothered that we were there. I didn’t feel welcomed so we walked out. That’s how they treat customers after 5 yrs. Terrible service

This place is nice. It’s more updates than your typical mariscos place. I had the fried fish tacos. So good!!! Large portions and great attentive staff. Even when the guy we were with was being annoying they were still so polite. :)

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. I was reared with great authentic Mexican food. I am so picky too. But my mom and I drove past this place and decided to stop in. Shortly after arriving we were greeted nicely by a female waitress who was very attentive and had a endearing smile. The chips were clearly homemade, PLUS! We ordered a side of guacamole, standard and delicious. I ordered a combo plate of a cheese enchilada and a shredded beef taco. This is my usual go-to when I haven’t been to a Mexican restaurant before. My mother ordered two carne Asada tacos, the meat was juicy and tender and full of simple flavor. And my meal was outstanding! I have been craving Mexican since I moved to Chicago, and coming back home to Cali, it was a nice experience to have authentic Mexican food. Great michilada, friendly efficient staff, and phenomenal Mexican food! An absolute must if in the area!

Sunday morning breakfast at restaurants are always busy & with people waiting to be seated. This place was non stop empty. The staff was on their toes. What I haven’t seen in a longtime that impressed me was a male server with a pot of decaf in one hand & a pot of regular in the other going from table to table checking on coffee refills. Unfortunately the food did not impress me. The Huevos Rancheros with rice n beans was too bland for my taste buds. As long as there was chips n salsa I’m good. The one good thing is that they have foreign & domestic bottled/can beers.

$ 11.99 for all you can eat, for starters that’s a very good deal. They have a wide selection to choose from. The food I had was very good. Another thing I liked is that the food was not greasy. They served the food very fast. Delicious! Give it a try I think you might like it.

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would but I can’t so I’ll just write a review on how bad this place is! We came here to enjoy a Birthday lunch for my grandpas 77th birthday, my grandpa and mom ordered menudo, I ordered a chili relleno lunch special. First off casa Jimenez put a water filter on your water fossett! How disgusting and cheap can you be?! Our waitress was rude and impatient when my nephew was ordering! Didn’t get her name. But she’s the one with black roots and ugly orange hair. Now food… Ughhhhh the menudo smelled sooo bad! It was disgusting! My chili relleno was just as bad, everything tasted microwaved! When we brought it up to our not so nice waitress none of our food was comp never again will I EVEREVERCOMEBACKHERE!!! DISGUSTING

Casa Jimenez is a good solid Mexican restaurant with multiple locations which I’d go to if ever in any of the areas. The prices are fair as are the food portions and food quality. The service was nice and friendly. There wasn’t anything remarkable of note with my experience, and I, personally always qualify my * * * *(four star) and * * * * *(five star) restaurant ratings as being places that«If I were ever to move out of town, then eventually come back into town as a visitor, would the restaurant become one of those „must return to and go to“ every trip I come back?» and in part that’s how I define places I’m a true fan of. If not for those standards, how can people differentiate between… good… great… and awesome!? I know it’s very subjective from reviewer to reviewer. Some folks only use Unilocal to gripe and complain as a way to vent. Other reviewers are very Pollyanna about things and give high praise to everyone, to the point that their reviews become less honest and not reliable. So, when I give * * *(three star) reviews, that’s still as Unilocal defines it as «A-OK» which means to me it’s still good if not maybe even great on many levels, so not at all a negative, more like a «B»(and sometimes a «C») grade, which in school is sufficient to «Pass» and considered positive. For me, even * *(two stars) is somewhat okay at times, whereas a *(one star) has some problem that would prohibit me from giving referral /recommendations nor returning back with free will or a planned visit. With that, the * * * given to Casa Jimenez is based on being reliable, ordinary as opposed to extraordinary, but still of good solid substance in most aspects I judge places on. I like this place and will /would try other dishes, and once I find that one signature dish, I will probably upgrade and update my review with notes as well as a higher rating I’m sure, but I still think it’s a good spot regardless of rating standards.
