First off let me correct the heading– the store does not sell frozen yogurt rather Richie’s slush and a good slush it is:-) — also they are not chocolatiers but carry all different types of chocolates from all different areas the best of the best and you’d have to visit the store to understand it — chocolate covered potato chips chocolate covered gummy bears an entire large wall which has all different types of a larger types of candies — go on down there you will be pleasantly surprised

Great candy but weird staff. Every time I go in there the guy comes out from the back, goes to the counter and STARES at me. I don’t mean he glances up occasionally, i mean STARES! This is so uncomfortable. I’m not a teenage boy. I’m a grown man. Does he think I’m going to steal pieces of candy? I become so self conscience that I just stop shopping and pay for what I have and leave. He doesn’t realize that if he just left his customers alone and stopped staring them down, they would browse longer and find more to buy.

A well-managed penny candy store. It appears clean and well kept. Great selection of Jelly Belly’s, fruit sours, fruit slices, and other candies. Looks like there’s also some homemade chocolates. The chocolates I bought were very fresh. They even had some candies I’ve never seen before, like honey-flavored Jelly Bellys. It’s on the side of the Dollery building, next to Jamie’s.

This little candy store is located on Route 18 in Whitman, right in the same building as The Dollery, next to Jamie’s Restaurant. They’ve got a wide assortment of candy delights, including gourmet chocolates(they have the best turtles I’ve ever eaten — nice and big, with chocolate, caramel, and a cookie center!), swedish fish, candy fruit slices(much softer than store bought ones), fudge, and probably some other things that I can’t remember right now. Of particular interest are the giant Hersey bars that they sell. These candy bars are prominently displayed on the wall behind the cash register, and are so huge that they would take up the entire back seat of your car! They also have jaw breakers the size of baseballs and chocolate covered Twinkies. All these offbeat, unique products make me think of Pinches & Pounds as an old time candy store. All of this, and great, old-fashioned customer service. This store is definitely a must-visit place if you have a hankering for some quality treats.
