One of our and our MIL’s favorite restaurants in the area for special occasions, as well as a place to «pamper yourself». Not only the food is awesome, the food presentation is also top notch. The superior service is highly appreciated, on top of that the ambiance is great for eating out with friends!

A fine place. I was seated at the time of my reservation, the host was very friendly and accommodating. No real issues here. The wait staff was a touch too attentive but fine. Food was A-OK. Nothing wrong at all with the food. But in all fairness, it wasnt great either. The food was sufficient, no more, no less. Everything was served hot and properly prepared. The vibe was all wrong for me. It felt like being in a Goodfellas movie, except without any cool mobsters. It was a bunch of old rich white upper Westchester folks valet parking their Acuras, who couldn’t tell or didn’t care that every single employee in the place was Albanian and not Italian. I felt like I was in a Dracula movie. I don’t have anything against Albanians at all, they just shouldn’t pass the accent off as Italian to a bunch of old wrinkly white guys from Westchester who couldn’t tell the difference, but I am Italian and my friend was Puerto Rican. We could tell. Nice place, good food. But not for me. A little creepy honestly. All that staring, and smiling. I was waiting for the vampires to come flying out of the back like in Dusk til Dawn. I wont be back there. so many other places to go.

Ate early for a Saturday night which was good plan cause they got very busy later. Offered 6 – 8 specials above standard extensive menu. Halibut was generous size, fresh and served with veggies and roasted potatoes. Pork chop draped in Fontaine cheese with Marsala wine sauce, accompanied by veggies and polenta. Good service, lots of people to help you. Desserts all made in premises.

Just amazing. The quality, service and overall feel of the restaurant is a gem to have in Westchester. our waiters were so friendly and professional. The Owner was so kind. Spoke with every table and ran a very organized establishment. My boyfriend and myself will definitely be going back.

Love this place. Food is outstanding. Eddie is the most gracious host. The rest of the staff is professional and quick. We were a group of ladies for dinner to celebrate a birthday and even let us bring our own cake and did not charge extra for cutting & serving(Yes, most places do charge) thanks again for a great night

Literally my favorite restaurant bar none!!! Take it from a «foody», and one who relishes in quality service; the Sapori family will make you a recurring customer after your first encounter! Simply AMAZING.

The food here was really boring. Nothing particularly wrong with it but it was just ho-hum — Italian food you could do better cooking yourself. The average age in the place was well over 65 — perhaps that’s why the food was so bland… The service is really odd. There were a lot of waiters and they all seemed to have nothing to do except stare at the diners. We couldn’t understand the specials since our waiter had a thick accent(similar to another reviewer). It was also very hard to hear what he was saying because the acoustics in the room made it very loud. Overall, not worth the visit. There’s so many better places to go to — skip this one.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Portions are kind of small. Service is very very good. Great place to take a date and plenty of on the street parking nearby.

Classy place, top-notch service, great food, a vast array of nightly specials to choose from; just a great dining experience overall. The highlights of my party’s dining experience included fresh de-boned branzino, an unbelievable(and often hard to find) chicken martini, and some great appetizers. Nice wine list and desserts as well. Our waiter was really nice, and even offered my entire party of four FREE after dinner drinks, not because we’d complained about anything(we had no reason to!), but because he clearly knew we’d all enjoyed ourselves and wanted to seal the deal that we’d return. Well, the drinks were welcome but totally unnecessary, as we all agreed we’d be back again soon. Great place!

We were looking for a restaurant to take our family friend to for his birthday. I picked Sapori because of the high Unilocal ratings but boy was I every sorry. They sat us down with no menus and it took 15 minutes to get them to give us menus. The gentlemen who read us the specials had a thick accent and there were at least 9 somewhat intricately detailed specials. We had to constantly ask him to repeat them as we were making our decision and we were told they aren’t written down anywhere. We placed our order and I let them know I was gluten free. I ordered the special over gluten free pasta. Did I mention we brought our 3 and 5 year old daughters and they have no kids menu. Thankfully they both can eat pasta. Our salads that came with our meals were unimpressive. My table mates ate plenty of bread as the length of time between ordering, salads, and main course was LONG! Don’t rush me but don’t leave me to whither and die either. When the food came I was surprised by the tiny servings. My mother ordered the shrimp special and had 4 mediocre sized shrimp and a ½ cup of pasta if that. The birthday boy did not like his food but didn’t tell me until later. I looked at my food and knew it looked weird. It was fettuccini and you almost never find gluten free fettuccini especially in a restaurant but I tasted it and immediately knew it was regular pasta. It took me 5 minutes to get someone to come over. So many different people take care of you it’s hard to tell who to flag down. They said they would«see about it» and left with my dinner 15 minutes later my plate comes back and I can tell that they have taken my shell fish and put it back over what looked like mixed shaped, barely cooked, possibly gluten free pasta. It did not taste good and my shell fish was rubbery as hell. I am thankfully gluten intolerant and do not get as sick as someone who is Celiacs thank g-d. Our experience didn’t end there. We had brought a cake and a gluten free dessert for me with us. It took us 25 minutes, 2 private conversations with the host, and 3 flag downs across the room to get the cake brought out. Then it took another 15 minutes to get the slices back and they miscounted and forgot one so that was another 5 minutes of waiting. My kids were angels during this 3 hour ordeal. I will never go back to Sapori and I think anyone with Celiacs should beware. I can’t believe they have this many good reviews. The only good part of this restaurant is the valet parker. He was so sweet and helpful and I was impressed that there is no ticket system used he just remembers who has what car.

My family had a fantastic time here. The staff played a large role in making this an excellent experience. The gentlemen were all charming, funny, and enthusiastic with their service. Service 5 Food 4 For seating, you should be seated in the basement to get the full«Italian feels». The wine cellar is located there and there’s individual dome shaped booths for larger parties. We nick named it the«dungeon» since it’s dimly lit and you have to go through a spiral staircase to get there. Pretty much ordered everything off of their evening specials menu which was surprisingly extensive. Pictures indicate their veal chop is famous. It is thinly pounded down, though it tasted very similar to chicken parmesan minus the cheese and tomato sauce. As one of the pricier options on the menu, I was honestly expecting a bit more. Rec: ++Halibut ++Seafood linguine pasta was not doused in red sauce, had plenty of clams, mussels, and squid preserving the seafood essence. ++Oysters Dessert: ++Crème brûlée– top crispy layer of caramel cooked to perfection with an mildly sweet inner custard. ++Tiramisu We were treated to on the house lemon sherry at the end which was a sweet touch. Sapori is a cute restaurant built from a 2 story house, though oddly located next to a car dealership. Valet parking only. Excellent for date night or celebrations.

Good food. Excellent service!!! Great wine. A little over priced for what it is. Kinda wish they stop saying grazzi… ok we get it you are from Italy but there you wudnt say grazzi every single time… however I think some people liked it so I guess it works for some. Recommended for is a little pricey for what it is… bread and oils were lovely though.

Absolutely a solid 4.5 stars! After recovering my surgery, I was craving some Italian food for lunch. I searched Unilocal and came across this little gem. I made reservations via open table and were greeted at the door. We ordered the calamari appetizer and found it to be very tasty. My original choice were the mussels but my waiter informed me that they were not pleased with their shipment. I very much enjoyed their honesty. For our lunch we decided on different options. My mother had a veal dish. It was delicious. I opted for a salad with salmon on top. I honestly wish I had gone back for dinner because lunch was so good! Oh, and the bread basket was perfect_Breadsticks and crusty bread! Seriously, I highly recommend this restaurant and will return when in the area!

Great Italian food, very friendly staff, very accommodating on any food substitutions you may require. Fish is great also pasta dishes, seafood salad was fresh and delicious, nothing is ever over sauced or over salted prepared just right. Ambiance is very comfortable, with cozy fireplace in main dining room, valet parking. Great for parties or special occasions.

We went here for my wife’s birthday dinner and this by far is one of the best overall restaurants in White Plains and the surrounding area. The service was prompt and our server Kenny was very professional. We had reservations and what do you know… we were sat right when we arrived, no waiting(that’s how reservations are supposed to work). This puts Buon Amici, down the street, to shame. Great service, great food, it was an excellent time.
