I went with my husband a few weeks back, we ordered the cheese plate — which is always fun and nice, I ordered the ricotta croquettes(which was really bland and tasteless) and for my entrée I ordered the Truffle mac & cheese. I love Truffle anything but this was VERY overpowering and took away from the pasta dish. I actually couldn’t eat more than 5 – 6 bites and left a little hungry. I may go back but would not order those two items for sure. Also, they tried to cramp in tables to accommodate customers but they place the tables in weird spots — right in front of the entrance and or RIGHT behind another table. So when you move or need to leave it is very hard to do that.

So as I came in I was very impressed by the ambiance of this little gem. The long marble bar and the dark wood with mirror In lay fronted by all the top shelf alcohol. Along with the dark wood chairs with a deep red backing brings a feeling that I’m in a place you would find in Manhattan. The bartender, Jess was wonderful as she recommend the blackened chicken panini to company my ice cold beer. It was mouth watering and every bite was just delicious and the fries were the best around. Jess was very friendly and professional. I will be returning very soon. As I recommend every one to do.

Read entire review. One star for the great sprouts and meatballs or it would be a zero. This gets a one star for the horrible service. 5:27 sat down at the bar and it was about 50% full. Took 14 minutes and change to get a drink. Good conversation and helpful bar tender. Order food. Good came out relatively fast by a food runner. Waited another 9 minutes for a place setting. The entire time the floor manger 2 seats and angled my way sat and talked to his friends while I had nothing to eat with. Finally flagged down the bar tender after she had walked by 3 times and didn’t notice I had nothing to eat with. Great food, finished my drink half way eating my food and never received another drink or was asked for it in 21 minutes. While the bar tender poured 6 drinks plus shots for the brand new group that stood at the two seats next to me. The bar tender also sat and waited on two next to my other side. All the while never looking or noticing I was empty. After being ignored for my entire visit I decide to pay my bill and leave and not even order dinner. I still tipped 20% all though it was worth nothing. I wound up eating dinner at a restaurant down the street and received great service and good food.

I emphasize greatly when it comes to the lighting in places and I Love the ambience in this place! Had their special drinks and they taste very good. I usually order the small plates and the presentation is A and the taste is A. You do need to reserve if you want a table on the busy nights(Friday, Saturday) other wise you can sit at the bar but it can get packed too. I went on a Friday evening after work and the bar was packed but they had enough bartenders working to be attentive to the crowd. Great place to hang with a companion(s) or loved one.

Went to Lilly’s on Friday night and we were promptly seated with a reservation around 6:30pm. Parking on the street is tough so I suggest going in they the back & getting a spot in the lot. Our server, according to the receipt it says Jimmy P but I don’t believe he introduced himself to us & his buser both were extremely attentive & provided exceptional service, based that we would definitely consider coming back. We started with several tapas: olives, special vegetable bruschetta, Brussels sprouts & the skirt steak. As each dish flew out of the kitchen we were more & more impressed with each one. However our last dish the skirt steak was by far the biggest disappointment of our evening. It was cooked to perfection but sadly it was a pathetic serving. Our server knew we were clearly sharing these dishes & this was definitely not worth $ 9, highway robbery at its finest & left a sour taste with us. We both finished with the Bronzino which was cooked to perfection, that bumped my rating up. Ultimately I wish either the portion was more than 2 ounces of skirt steak or the waiter would of recommended another tapas instead of us being very disappointed.

Seriously good food and a fun place to hang out. The first time I went was for breakfast and the chicken was not quite up to the mark so I didn’t write until I went a few more times. The second time I went was with a large group and everyone enjoyed the food and the service was great other than us having to wait for the table a while. All the tapas was a huge hit. What really stood out was the burrata, brussels sprouts and the steak apps. The pizza was decent but I wouldn’t go here especially for it. I always enjoy the casual vibe with low lighting and a friendly staff. It’s one of the better places in WP and the prices are excellent!

Recently dined here with the girlfriend. Probably my third time there. All I can say is that the Hudson Grill guys nailed it with Lilly’s. I’m pretty sure that the perfectly charred brussell sprouts made me see Jesus. Those things were Delicious. I almost ended my relationship fighting for the last couple on the plate. And the Gnocchi… oh man oh man. Like little clouds of awesome. Light and airy, with excellent flavoring that did not overpower the consistency. Plating on both were detail oriented with good portions for tapas. Lastly the fried chicken. Damn. Perfectly cooked with some great crunch on the outside and fall off the bone, shiny lip makin, soft and tender chicken on the inside. Well done Lilly’s. Drinks were quality. Try their Moscow mule. Copper cup and all. Wait staff was friendly, courteous and attentive with out being all up in your shit. Also, Manager, I forget your name. But keep doing what your doing. Place looks great, ambiance is perfect for the décor and layout, and it was nice to see you come to the table and check in. From one service industry man to another, Nice job.

We had some tapas and pizza, I wouldn’t say it’s the best tapas, it tasted ok. The pizza was overhyped, you will find a lot better options if you drive 10 miles. Only thing that was fresh and I liked was the fresh Guinness. Btw, the happy hour is only valid if you sit at the bar, which doesn’t make sense

I love this place! It’s a classier and nicer option for a meal on Mamaroneck ave. The server was attentive and the restaurant was packed around 8pm on a Monday. I tried the ricotta croquettes, burrata, short ribs, goat cheese pizza and espresso pot de crème. Everything was delicious! The small plates are actually a good portion for sharing or even as a meal if you aren’t too hungry.

Loud, festive, groups galore, and«fast» food. Tapas come lighting speed. For the most part they were good but nothing spectacular. Like most places on Mamaroneck Ave. the food is not why you go. it is location. to go bar hopping. The food here is much better than a bar or pub. Try the clam pizza which we could taste the pepper flakes more than the clams.

Hi y’all! This place is locally owned, so already a feather in their cap! I think criteria for working here is gorgeous because everyone is both in and out. Genny, the hostess has the mostest and. She is so very sweet. Jess, the bartender will lay you out with a perfect cocktail. I met my new friend, Gail… He was the breath of fresh air I needed after traveling… Dashing gentleman, indeed. He made my visit perfection! Surely you will see him, as he is a celebrity there. Enough about the people… The risotto croquettes are a simply delightful treat on the palette. Sweet, but. Savory. The grilled shrimp are not plentiful, but its a Tapa… so its perfect. I then enjoyed the crispy Brussel Sprouts and was so done I could not finish them !!! Well worth the money, well worth the visit!

You know that feeling when something hasn’t lived up to the hype? That would be Lilly’s. Granted, I’m not an oyster fan(shudder) and therefore didn’t sample the oyster bar, so *disclaimer* i don’t know how to weigh the pros and cons of an «oyster bar» vs anything else off the menu, ambience, presentation and service. Hmm. So in a nutshell, unless you’re. specifically in search of oysters, this eatery is meh to nothing special at best.

I LOVELOVELOVE this place! This place is great for so many reasons. One the staff is always so nice and attentive. Even if they mess up your order they are willing to make it right, which has happened but they were minor mistakes. Two the food is Fantastic!!! I have been here for both brunch and dinner and I have to say every time I come here I am not disappointed. I have tried almost everything on the menu due to going in large groups and everything was delicious! Great spot for groups since you can share majority of the menu options. They also have a wide variety of thing For Brunch they have great selections as well and give a complementary mimosa or Bloody Mary to go with your meal which is a nice touch I think. We hosted a private brunch here for the day after our wedding and more people came then we thought and they were very accommodating and was able to find space for all. They even borrowed a server from next door Hudson Grill so that there were a few servers for each area. I thought that was fantastic, it showed that they cared about our guest. Again everyone we spoke to was raving about the food and how great the service was. I am so happy we had our brunch here and not the hotel. Especially when there is ample amount of parking in the back. Three, the place has a great atmosphere. The décor is lovely and different compared to the other places on Mamaroneck. Overall this place is wonderful and you should really give it a try.

A good spot for a gluttonous brunch. The brunch burger was standard, but the fries that came with it were the best part of the meal. The cinnamon raisin french toast was pretty dry – it was more like thick-cut toast served with syrup rather than moist french toast. And the fried chicken appetizer plate was very good. And, if you order from the brunch menu, each of the brunch entrees come with a «free» mimosa or bloody mary – the mimosas are nice and strong too.

Okay, so the drinks and food were good but we had a problem with the service tonight. Now, my friend and I(She’s 28, I’m 24) have baby faces and are very petite, so we are used to being carded multiple times when we go out for drinks. But there is a way to do this with tact and I would have expected nothing less than that at a place like Lilly’s, but was disappointed. We came in and sat at the bar, hoping to get a few drinks and a small plate to celebrate an occassion. The waiter ID’d me(24) and my friend(28). Upon seeing my friend’s ID, she handed it back aggressively and said in a nasty tone, «You’re supposed to be older than me? No, I can’t do that»(repeating this multiple times). We tried to tell her that my friend had her name on her credit card and alternative forms of ID but she continued to repeat the same crass line. Finally, I waved the manager over and he POLITELY said what you are supposed to say– thank you for coming, we are just under strict watch, etc etc and finally let my friend have her drink. Needless to say, it was hard for my friend to enjoy her night after feeling so embarrassed and accused. Both being so youthful looking, we 100% understand that it is the job of resaturants to ensure that they are not serving underage. But merely saying«I need to double check with my manager» is far more appropriate than the bartender’s behavior tonight. I am a White Plains citizen but would hesitate to return with friends or on dates due to this encounter. The last thing I would want is to be given attitude and humiliated in front of my company before having the chance to prove that I have every right to enjoy a Thursday night glass of wine. :/

This is pretty much my holy grail of wine bars. I’ve been here with friends a few times so far, usually for dinner & drinks during Friday happy hour. Everything about this place is classy & well done, far superior to most of the other bars/restaurants on Mamaroneck Ave. The wine: Lily’s has a wonderful selection of wine on tap, which can be hard to find. Although it is mostly domestic wines, there’s good variety & quality. From these, I particularly recommend the A to Z Chardonnay & the Concannon Cabernet Sauvignon. Aside from the wine on tap, there are a few other wines that can be ordered by the glass & then a great selection of wines by the bottle. Here they have a wide selection of quality wines that one would expect from a wine bar. I’m particularly impressed by the variety of Italian wines. Aside from wine, there is a great selection of beers and a full bar. During happy hour(Mon-Fri 4−7pm), beer and wine on tap is only $ 5! The food: I’ve tried two of the personal pizza selections at Lily’s — pizza fresca & meat stacking pizza. They are generous sizes & are delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients. Friends of mine have tried the swordfish & the pasta bolognese & both received good reviews. i’m eager to try more of the food here. The service: We usually sit at the bar & both bartenders I recall being served by during my visits, Samantha and Fiona, are sweet and attentive. The space: Lily’s has a classy, expensive look within being overly pretentious. It is also quite spacious, with a very long bar that runs the length of the restaurants along with a couple dozen tables. I’m so pleased I found this place & will continue to return.

Finally. A bar for grownups in White Plains. Only two screens. If you love sports, loud techno, and Coors light, you will be disappointed. The décor, elegant and comfortable. The beer choices, well chosen. The wine list, right now there’s no bar in WP that matches. They had a Barolo for $ 60 and a well respected Sparkler for the same. They had two of my favorite high end gins — Nolets and Hendricks. Don’t trust a bar that doesn’t have one distinctive gin. And that doesn’t include Tanqueray or Beefeater. The food. I have not had patatas bravas that delicious anywhere. The oysters appetizers were three, fresh and subtly garnished without overpowering the oysters themselves. The cheese and meat plate was satisfying and generous. The Brussel Sprouts were cooked in bacon, and hard to resist. If I could have this place more to myself, I’d give it 1 star so that it doesn’t become the next big thing.
