Ichiro Fusion & Lounge

Extremely poor customer service. Messed up my order and wouldn’t refund my money or do anything about it. The manager said to me «what would you like me to do about it?» And screamed at me over the phone and threatened to have me arrested for complaining about the food. Would never go back here again.

We went there on a Monday night. It’s not busy, but the service was just alright — the waitress took the order, deliver the food and bill. My husband ordered beef skewer, which was close to average, but the steamed vegetable on the plates were cold. Given it’s $ 26, I would expect something at least warm. I got the nebayaki noodles. That’s probably one of the worst dish I ever had in any restaurant — the noodle soup was super bland. It wasn’t salted at all. The soup base didn’t taste like anything other than chicken breast, bean sprouts and bok choi flavored unsalted water. All the ingredients in this soup were unsalted as well and I had to dip everything in soy sauce to be able to eat it. The soup also had some teriyaki shrimp on the side, super greasy, mostly batter. I don’t know how they get such high ratings given the quality of the food and the price they charge. The restroom had a dimmed green-​ish light, which was very unpleasant to me – felt like some horror movie scene.

$ 12 bento box for lunch with a big soup and salad to start. Can’t go wrong as two slices of pizza and a soda is just about $ 10 alone. Good food and pretty nice staff too, try it out!

On a Saturday evening the restaurant wasn’t packed which is good. As you enter its a beautiful restaurant it’s dark with colorful lights surrounding the bar area and its dimly lit where the seating area is. It’s a great atmosphere and very modern. They had a table ready the minute I entered the restaurant. As I sat down they gave wipes for your hands which I thought was great because a lot of restaurants don’t do that!
I ordered fried shrimp shumai as my appetizer and I had the fried shrimp habachi rice (I was really in the mood for shrimp lol)! The food was good! I loved the fried rice! They give so much that I had to take half of it home! I also had a glass of Pinot Grigio that was good too.
Overall the service was great, my server was always available and came over if I needed anything.
The only downside is parking because mamaroneck avenue is very busy and it’s hard to find parking right in front but there is various parking lots like at the city center or there is another parking lot 1 block away as well.
The pricing was average and similar to other restaurants that serve Japanese cuisine.
I would recommend this restaurant!

The food was decent but how dare u add a 30.00 (23%) tip to a table of 6 when 2 of the people are little kids. Then when we pay, you take the credit card and disappear for 15 minutes. Then when we ask for the manager you say hes too busy to come talk to us. Its not about the money its about the principle. Your now on our «never again» list.

Awesome happy hour– 4 – 7:30pm– happy hour drink selection isn’t that diverse– you have your typical wine/​beer/​cocktail selection– their happy hour food menu is amazing $ 3 apps/​$ 4 rolls. can’t beat that –fresh food, great service. Will definitely be back. If you get a chance to buy their groupon– it is totally worth it!!!

Very good, happy hour goes until 7:30 Monday thru Friday.. Good happy hour menu, drinks and food too! $ 4 rolls :)

I love sushi and have been eating it for many years. Ichiro sushi is wonderful. It is so good that my partner who is from the Midwest and has never eaten it before is now a sushi consumer.

This is my absolute favorite Japanese place! The food is unbelievably incredible and the service is unbeatable. Ask for the bartender Mike for a good time. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is a MUST VISIT place in white plains, ny!

Had a wonderful meal last night. Ordered the chicken skewers, which were succulent and cooked perfectly.
Then enjoyed some very tasty rolls including, eel avocado, shrimp tempura, spicy salmon, American Dream.
The restaurant has a very nice and cool vibe and the service was excellent. One of my favorites!

This restaurant needs to change their hours on the weekend. I find it absurd that after spending a good chunk of money we were rushed out due to them closing at 11pm on a Saturday!!! The waiter rushed us the entire time and was not at all friendly. I’m sorry but having worked in the restaurant industry that is by far one of the tackiest things you can do. And it’s the weekend you should adjust your hours accordingly, or change the name of your place to not include the word «lounge»!!! Really dissapointed. There are many other choices for Asian in white plains we could have chosen and enjoyed ourselves a lot more. Came here 3 years ago and had a completely different experience with excellent service, will not be returning for some time.

I had purchased a groupon for this place at $ 25 for $ 40worth of food. Came here for a quick dinner after me and my gf finished painting next door.
We stumbled in at around 915 and place was very dead. I’m assuming ’cause hey either close at 10 or this is why they were on groupon.
The interior of the place is absolutely beautiful. Has a lot of potential. Seems like a great night life spot.

Hurry up and order. I didn’t get upset because we did come in rather late but making it that obvious to rush us is a bit of a turn off .
I started off with the calamari as we waited for our entrees. I love calamari, just not this one. It was too chewy for me. I still ate it because I was hungry and hadn’t eaten all day. I thought it was funnier that I left one on the plate and was literally forced by our waitress to eat it. Lol I wasn’t mad because I just kept thinking
About my mother yelling at me when I always leave one bite left on every plate.
Our entrees came out. I had gotten the Damon teriyaki because I gave up red meat during lent and couldn’t opt for anything else I wanted. My gf got the steak teriyaki.
According to my gf, hers was good nothing special but good is what I got from her. Mine, the fish was cooked perfectly. I forfeited it would be a salmon filet tho. It ended up to be a salmon steak. Didn’t mind it tho, but I did find the teriyaki sauce to rather be on the more way sweeter side than what I’m Normally used to.
Overall, for the price we paid with the groupon and the food we received, I’m happy with it. Had I not got the group on though, I would’ve cried a little on the way home.
Willing to try again, but only with another groupon. Maybe at an earlier time as well so I am not rises and can enjoy my food without interruption.

The best sushi I’ve had in westchester. Spicy tuna roll was excellent. Lovers roll was delightful.
Mike the bartender is a gentleman and a scholar.
¹⁄₃₀ sweetheart roll and shrimp tempura were out of control. Not so hidden gem, sake bombs!

Nice restaurant with great friendly staff! I really wanted to love this place but was disappointed with the sushi. Maybe an off night for the sushi chef. As my fiancé said his sushi was good/​okay. The green tea tempura ice cream was very good.

The staff is really friendly and the service is good. Wait time is minimal unless busy but usually during the happy hours, you’ll find yourself at the bar getting quick service. The rolls to me are always done pretty well. Idk about the freshness of the fish but they taste good to me .my girlfriend likes the chicken lettuce wrap and volcano roll alot. I myself enjoy the Alaska roll and spicy salmon roll. Very nice presentation and overall good experience

Best sushi restaurant in the White Plains area. Inventive new rolls with the standard fare. Love the seafood ramen soup as well as the different skewers. Also a great variety of cucumber wrapped naruto rolls. If not as adventurous, they also do standard Japanese and Chinese classics such as teriyaki, sesame chicken, or orange beef. Great lunch specials too. Always fresh food served quickly. Fast delivery. Can order online and on Unilocal or dine in.

Went to Ichiro for an early dinner for my birthday with my wife. Had a great Groupon discount on dinner go 2. The restaurant was impeccably clean, the décor was modern although a bit dark. We had the sashimi/​sushi platter, Mandarin duck salad, miso soup and shrimp & vegetable tempura. Everything was excellent! Kudos to the chef. Also, I must say the staff and service were wonderful. I would definitely recommend Ichiro.

I’m impressed. I went here after an interview, for lunch. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh and enjoyable. Excellent restaurant. The decour could use a touch up However.

I wasn’t really expecting anything, its juts that the groupon that i bought is expiring today and so, with a heavy heart, I have to drag my husband to come here, mind you, he doesn’t eat sushi.
Wearing just shorts, and coming from work, neither of us is dressed to impress. No reservations, we were seated right away. And although the service could be a little inconsistent, (the table who was seated after us got a hot towel, and we did not), I understand that there are only two servers and theres a couple of tables. The décor is very neat and chic! Love the décor. Love the atmosphere. We ordered tuna tartar (i wish theres a bit of a crunch), sesame chicken, we ordered it with white rice but they have completely forgot the white rice so I have to remind them, pork gyoza (yum!!), roticanai (could be better), and korean spare ribs (very tender and sweet!). I can’t
complain, they serve the food as it is ready and I like it. that means that it doesn’t sit under the heat lamp waiting for the other food to be cooked.
I’d come back and I recommend this place.
