Joe has been cutting our family’s hair for 20 years. His prices are reasonable, his personality exceeding pleasant. A total professional.

I went to Joe yesterday for the first time based on reviews I read on Unilocal and was very pleased with the haircut and Joe. He spent several minutes discussing my current cut and what he felt he could do to improve the style. I think it looks much more modern and a little edgy, very pleased. The only negative was that I chose the wrong parking garage and would use street parking in the future.

Joe is a nice and talented haircutter. I went for the first time yesterday. He spent the first few minutes talking me through my cut, and explained how he thought he could improve on my previous cut. Indeed, it was a huge improvement, and $ 10 cheaper than Salon 877 in Ardsley, where I’ve been going. (See my review of Salon 877.)
But haircutters is my new spot. It’s cheap and Joe is the man. Show him a picture of what you want, and be quiet while he tells you what’s possible. He won’t disappoint you.

Joe has been cutting my hair for over 20 years and I have followed him from when he initially worked for someone else to when he set up his own shop many years ago. Needless to say, my loyalty arises from the great haircuts he gives me and the fact that he has a great personality and is a really nice guy. I highly recommend him.

Read all the reviews and decided to take a gamble on Joe. I’m not only happy that I did, I’m thrilled. Hands down the best experience getting my hair styled and the best haircut I’ve ever had. And I’ve had some seriously trained people cut my hair. Not that Joe doesn’t have training, he definitely does, but there’s no beating talent, experience and training.
Joe actually took the time to understand what I needed, what I wanted for a cut, and nailed it. Just the right balance of conservative and really great style. He also gave some great advice on color and keeping some grey, which he also nailed; my wife can’t stop remarking on how well she likes it, how healthy and natural the color is and just the right touch of grey. And, I really appreciated the fact all of this didn’t happen in the middle of a cavernous salon with people everywhere, it was like having a private consultation with a great stylist.
I don’t want to load this guys schedule up to the point I can’t get in to see him in the short window I have, but he’s the real deal and I’ll be back just as soon as I’m back in the area.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Joe for many years. Joe’s an easy going guy and easy to deal with. He always does a great job. He’s funny too and it’s always a great conversation.

Love Joe! Been going to his place (Haircutters) since he was on the other side of town. Great cut. Great color. i get stopped all around town and asked who does my hair. HONEST! Best part… he listens!!! Highly recommend.

Joe has been cutting and coloring my hair for more than 10 years. My 20 year old daughter also goes to him. We can’t imagine anyone else cutting our hair. Joe is highly experienced and talented with both cut and color. My hair has been blunt cut, layered, long and short. Joe always keeps us looking great. His prices are very competitive and appointments are easy to get a day or two in advance. I wouldn’t trust my head in anyone else’s hands. He’s the best. Go and see him. You won’t regret it. I am not from the area but was in town for the unfortunate occasion of a funeral and needed a haircut. I looked online and Joe had some pretty good reviews.
I almost never write reviews online but I have to highly recommend Joe for your next haircut. I’m just trying to decide if I’m going to drive two hours for all of my haircuts from now on!
Not only is Joe very nice and welcoming but he clearly knows a lot about what he does and takes a lot of pride in how he does his job. I have never had this experience with a hair stylist or barber before (ask Joe if you want to know the difference between the two!)
Just from the questions he asked me about how I wanted my hair cut, I knew I was dealing with a professional of the first order. I cannot recommend him highly enough and only wish I lived closer to make getting future haircuts easier!

From the large wall-​mirrors, funky art deco by a local painter, to the low key entrance: this is a great find and a gem of a place. The price is very reasonable and Melinda: she knows HAIR and the latest STYLE. (and she is quite a story teller. who can resist her wicked kiwi accent!!!)
I got my hair done on 3÷13÷09: new style and highlights. She used a mint-​shampoo that woke up my scalp, a massage that was so good; I nearly melted, and a morrocan oil that brought my hair to life. I came out feeling like a million dollars! The service is fantastic! From the owner, who brings you coffee, make sure your car is ok, to no-​nonsense hairstyle. This place has it all.
