This is the bigger of 2 McDonald’s located in White Lake. This location has a large indoor playground for kids with its own decent-sized seating area for parents and kids to eat separately from the rest of the restaurant. GOODTHINKING, McDonald’s. Both White Lake locations have the cheapest Happy Meals that come in under $ 3. I don’t know why you go into Waterford and local places and they are more expensive, but I digress. If the kids are getting on your nerves, bring ‘em here for a cheap lunch and to blow off some steam while you sorta relax and cruise the internet on your laptop or other Wi-fi enabled device for a spell. Oh, and, please remember to bring socks. They don’t want ninos in there with bare feet or shoes in the play area. You can buy cheapo McDonalds socks at the counter for $ 1 in case you forget. There is a small sign OUTSIDE of the play area, but easy to bypass. They really should put one on the inside too so you can rectify the situation without other ‘rents giving you the stinkeye before you realize you’ve violated policy. Oh, and please check in on the kiddies every so often to make sure they are not killing themselves or anybody else’s child. Not cool to zone out and let them run wild, know what I’m saying? Keep ‘em under control and you can literally be in here for HOURS and it not be frowned upon. Great for a rainy day. ETA: I am not sure if they have discounted Happy Meal Family Nights here too like they do at the other WL McD’s. Will try to remember to check next time I roll through. ETA2: Just went yesterday(6÷28÷30) and did not see any advertisements for Family Night here. Although they do hold kids parties. Minimum of 10 bodies required for festivities to take place. You get Happy Meals, cake, plates/spoons for said cake, basic goody bags, party ‘hats’, placemats and candles. They also have a fundraiser program for schools, organizations, etc.
