Having a local feed store when you have five animals is vital! This is a no frills store that will order what you need. The hours of operation are a bit tricky for my work schedule so I have to plan on weekend trips. The staff are friendly and they will bring out any large bags of dog food straight to my car to load up.
Getting out of the parking lot is tricky and it’s best just to plan on heading north on Kipling versus trying to turn left.
Overall though I like supporting a local business and have found any food I need there.

Great awesome wheat Ridge small business. Honest and they give a cash discount. I have loyally been buying my dog food here for seven years. Even carry it and put it in your car for you. Good customer service!

Great Mom & Pop pet food store, with an emphasis on Horse, Rabbit and other agri type of food. They do have a very large selection of food and material for small pets as well. The prices on the food that I buy (Lab-​blocks for rats. That’s right, pet rats) is not only the best I’ve come across, but the food itself is incredibly fresh. Although I haven’t priced out the dog and cat food, if it’s priced anywhere like the rodent food it would be far better than the average big box pet store. Small shops like this are becoming rare — go there while you can.

This store carries some items cheaper than I can find at other stores so I come to get these particular items. I find that some weeks they are out of things, others they are not. So I stock up when I do find the items I need. The store owners are old school married folks — and one likes to talk too much. Once you get to know them, you can ignore the noise and do business.

Support your small business owner, and you’ll be so happy for many reasons.
Their food is better priced for the exact same product than any other store I’ve ever been to, big or small. They always have an excellent selection and friendly and available help.
I once had a bag of kitty food that I thought was super hard, I told them about it and they were upset that I didn’t bring it back to them so they could give me another bag, even when I told them it was almost gone.
They give you a small discount when using cash or check.
They have «small business» hours so please check before you make the drive, it will be well worth it.

Great mom and pop shop with incredible selection. Hard to find cat food brands are easy to find here. They also have food for wildlife – bird seed, bird feeders, etc. So glad I found them.

I love this store. They are so friendly and helpful. They will even stay open past 6pm if I’m stuck in traffic. They carry a variety of different brands of dog food and treats. Lots of organic food and treats at very good prices.
