The food was fantastic. I’m only giving it four stars though. The other customers made the dining experience a little rough. It’s like people watching at the airport. There was an older«gentleman» that was constantly trying to hack up what sounded like a huge mucous ball and kept blowing his nose. Then a lady that continued to stare at our table while she licked her lips and another man blowing his nose. Despite how good the food was, I left feeling a bit queasy from all the background noise.

So my first encounter with this place didn’t fare so well. I came in with my boyfriend, literally sat down and saw the menu and we got up and left. We felt at that time, $ 10 for eggs and toast was outrageous. Fast forward to last Sunday; we were on an early morning mission and originally wanted to go to another place but ironically they had a line out the door. I guess other people had the same idea to go out to eat on Sunday morning. We came to this place, and yes they were very busy so I assumed this was a good sign. I ordered the biscuits and gravy hash browns with english muffin and my boyfriend got something like the eggs sausage hash browns and he also got an english muffin. I felt the lemon in the water was too harsh for me in the morning, but the entire pitcher of water had a lemon in it. So I had to deal with it, overall my boyfriend thinks this place is great, reminds him of the country bumpkins from his home state in middle America.

I remember the food being good, however they are thieves. They tried to up charge me $ 3.99 to add a biscuit to my corned beef hash. I will never go there again. Outrageous up charge.

Been there several times for breakfast. Decent food in abundant portions. It always seems busy but we never had to wait. Nothing fancy but worth giving it a try. The last time we were there we were at a table parked right under the air conditioner. I can tell you that AC worked fine but I have to admit I was happy to finish my meal and get out from under it. Brrrr!

Ive eaten here about 4 times. Really good beakfast food in a country diner setting. Great service as well. Nice local option instead of a boring large chain.

I used to go to this place a lot and enjoy their breakfast and the environment but it appears the prices are a little higher for basic breakfast food and the service certainly is not what it used to be years ago when I would stop in for a meal. Have an AN great waitress the whole time today that did not pay any attention to our table or anyone else while she stayed behind the register screaming that another staff member and crying certainly did not make me want to go out of my way to come back here anytime soon and the food was okay but nothing special. i’m just glad I had a coupon to save me $ 10 or I would’ve been pissed with a $ 40 bill for basic breakfast and three people. Period

Been here twice… And it’s a decent joint for a run of the mill breakfast. Service was good both times and we were quickly seated.

My wife and I went there this last Friday morning for the first time as we had a coupon. We will be going back quite a bit now. The breakfasts were quite large and VERY good. One of the best breakfasts we have had, and my wife is a fussy eater. The chicken fried steak was the best I have had and my wife’s bacon benedict was also incredible. The jam on the table, also the best! The restaurant was also one of the cleanest I have been in. This is our new breakfast spot now when we are in the area.

This is a great little restaurant with delicious food. There known for there eggs and I can see why. The have a lot of different Benedicts and omelets that are delicious. There something here for every one! I would give them at least 3.5 stars or higher.

WAYOVERPRICEDFORBASICBREAKFAST. FOOD! The basic breakfast food… no creativity and zero atmosphere… at an outlandish price point. Conclusion: eat elsewhere.

So I’m kind of torn. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been good. I always sit at the bar and the service is great. The three stars goes to the food but I couldn’t give three overall. I’ve always liked that you get your own pitcher of water and coffee… But today that kind of changed. Idk if I should even care, but I watched them clear table after table and take the pitchers of coffee that were on them and dump them back into a big coffee machine that they then filled all the«New» pitchers up with. That’s GROSS! So the coffee I’m drinking could have potentiality been at 20 different tables since 6am this morning? Hmmmm. I don’t even want to know what they do with the water pitchers. Oh wait. just found out. They clear the pitchers from the table, set them by the drink machine, and then just fill them up without dumping what was in there already. Am I being petty? This seems GROSS to me. Idk. Food is great though. Just hope they aren’t «recycling» their eggs in the back. That is all!

This is our go-to breakfast place. It’s brunch if you like or just the best pancakes you’ll ever have. Great service and a relaxing atmosphere!

I get the 2+2+2 every time. It comes with two buttermilk hotcakes, two sausage links and two scrambled eggs. I occasionally, like to get a side of their buttermilk biscuits and gravy. All of this, accompanied by a strong cup of Joe… gets my day started off right.

This is my second time trying this restaurant. There partners with my United Card so I earn miles eating here. First time I was in a hurry and didn’t pay much attention to the quality or service. This time I’m definitely paying attention. I was greeted by friendly staff. I ordered the 2+2+2(2 eggs, 2 cakes, 2 bacon) and added Blueberries to my pancakes. They give you these cool little pitchers with water which is brilliant. My food came out at reasonable time and most importantly my eggs were nice and warm(not room temperature). My Blueberry pancakes were really good with berries in the batter and on top. Service was good. Enjoyed my breakfast very much, I think I’ll eat here more often. I only gave 3 stars because I think they could do a little better. It would be 3.5 almost 4.

Exactly what a small breakfast diner should be and is. Has been around for many years because it consistently provides good food for the people of the neighborhood. If you are looking for an «cutting edge», «new food», hipster kind of joint, go elsewhere. If you are looking for reliable, good food, made for people who actually eat food — not food trends; this is your joint!

The food here was pretty decent. I had the country omelette, and it was probably a bit above average. The potatoes that came with it were unseasoned, but not awful. I hate bitching about price, but the omelette, a 10-oz. Orange juice and tip were $ 18 at a restaurant that is essentially a greasy spoon with really uncomfortable seating at the breakfast bar. The same thing at Fran’s up the block would probably cost about $ 9-$ 11. Same with Egg & I. One upside is that this restaurant participates in the United and American airlines dining programs, so if your miles are about to expire on one of those airlines then dining here will extend the expiration date by 18-months.

It’s a breakfast and lunch«diner» with a bar and table service. Always a fan of that set up for anything that claims to be a diner/café. Good amount of choices for breakfast. Never eaten lunch their so not sure about that. They are good with substitutions on omlettes and plates. So add or subtract your choices for what you want.

This is my go-to breakfast joint. There is hardly ever a long wait and they have the BEST corned beef hash I have ever tasted. The bacon is cooked to perfection, and(I think) fresh squeezed orange juice is yummy. Service is always attentive but not hovering and it is always clean. Bonus-this family owned and operated business. Yay for local business!

Great food and wonderful service! However, they are very expensive for a breakfast café. At least $ 14.00 for one meal.

Its clean and cozy and the food, standard breakfast fare, is solid. I don’t like that they have that heavy handed green-chili-on-everything Denver thing. Then again, it is a coffee shop and it is Denver. Expecting a delicate touch or sophisticated palate wouldn’t be too fair. The server was forgetful but friendly. The menu unnecessarily complicated. But I’d come back for bacon and eggs. Points for putting a water pitcher and coffee pot on the table.
