I have been very pleased with the service and shoe repairs that I have had here. Good shoes can be expensive but can last for decades especially if they can be repaired. I have also had anti-slip Vibram soles placed on my cowgirl boots to keep from slipping in the the snow for very reasonable prices.

This is a great place with great selection and service. It’s nice to see a small business that has been open for so long doing well. I have had repairs done here as well as make purchases. They always do a great job. If you are looking for some quality shoes, this is your place!

I recently had a pair of black leather soled dress shoes re-soled at Mucilli’s. They did a great job. I’d worn through the leather soles and had them re-soled twice before and this time at Mucilli’s advised me that they could use a rubber sole instead of leather to help with longevity. Great turnaround time they did a great job. I will go back there again for other shoes.

I went in to look for a pair of casual shoes. There were several racks at the front of the store prominently marked as 45% off(not up to 45% off). I found a pair of Keen shoes that fit perfectly. I confirmed with a clerk that they were 45% off(she said yes) and she put them at the counter while I tried on another pair of regularly priced shoes, which did not fit. When I went to pay, another clerk(older woman) asked where I got the shoes. I showed her where they were on the 45% off rack. She told me they were only 25% off even though they were clearly on the 45% off rack. She then inferred that I had moved them to the sale rack to get a better price, even though the previous clerk had seen me take them from that rack and confirmed they were 45% off. I told her I did not do so and thought she should honor the price. She then told me that the employees could not be responsiible for making sure that stock were shelved in the correct location(?what). I asked if she would split the difference at 35% off since it was not the customer’s fault that they were shelved and advertised incorrectly. She refused. I told her that was bad business and walked out. Just because a place sells $ 300 pairs of shoes does not mean that she should not honor their advertised prices for sales items. No wonder people shop on Amazon — sale prices AND good customer service, not dishonest bait and switch tactics.

I took a pair of my husband’s shoes to them after having a disastrous experience with another shoe repair place. The shoes were really worn on the leather, scuffed and had a big stain on the side. The girls at the counter looked at them and honestly told me they probably couldn’t get the stain out, but they could make the rest of the shoes look better. They said they would clean them to see if it would come out, condition the leather and polish. I asked them if there was any way they could have them ready soon so I could just go run errands at the grocery store next door and then pick them up, and they gave me an ETA of 30 minutes! The stain did NOT come out but they shoes look WONDERFUL! The conditioner made them a little darker so the stain is less visible and they look alive again. All for $ 6! I will definitely come back here. They also have an excellent selection of specialty shoes, purses and insoles/inserts. I asked the girls some suggestions for inserts for a pair of boots I have and they showed me a couple of different ones but suggested I bring the boots in to try them before buying anything… I love that they weren’t just trying to sell me something and get me out! This place definitely cares about it’s customers, I highly recommend.

since I can’t remove the comment left by the store, I’ll just add this: The person from Mucilli’s is doing damage control and telling lies. No one called to tell me that the eyelet would not be identical. I did not give their employee at the store any abuse. When their service repair person(at a different store) began shouting at me, I DID lose my temper, absolutely, and justifiably so. I do not expect to be treated the way I was treated when I called to complain and was informed that I shouldn’t be complaining and that I was being unreasonable. I NEVER get that, from any store. It ain’t me. So, this has turned into a «he said — she said» argument and without some kind of secret audio recording or video, no one who wasn’t there can know for certain what really happened. That’s how damage control works. As for taking the trouble to write a negative review about bad customer service, well, I think that’s what reviews are FOR. You know — letting others know about the experience you had. This isn’t about an eyelet, it’s about treatment, verbal abuse on the phone, and lies!
