DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

I found some shoes on sale… because that’s how I roll. They weren’t my size but Sarah called the other store and found them not only in stock but she got them to honor the sale price.
Sarah is a boss.
She is also pretty Easy on the eyes. Which is nice.

This is my go to store whenever I am in the need for some retail shoe therapy. They have some of the cutest stuff around and IMO the pricing seems better than other places like DSW. And if there is a sale going on — beware of great prices! Not just on shoes either. I found the cutest purse there for 70% off a few months back.
It’s clean, well organized and the staff is friendly. Like I said, this is my go to store for shoes anymore and I can’t see my self going any place else now!

I always preferred DSW over other giant discount shoe stores. I could spend hours here. Give me a hot beverage of some sort and I could meander up and down every aisle… sifting through the mega sale racks in the back… judging every shoe and/​or slipping a foot into something I would never wear. I’ve tried coming here with friends, but I’m always embarrassed at my shoe obsession and play it off like it’s time to go… But really, I’m secretly thinking «I’ll be back my pretties.»
The sales are hit or miss. Sometimes I find incredible deals and other times I walk out wondering «where did I go wrong?»… I own way too many shoes and living near DSW is unwise. I get those $ 10 off coupons all the time and they are so tempting. I missed the deadline on one of my coupons by a couple of days and the cashier still honored it. That was awesome and ended up being applied towards a new pair of sandals.

2012 Review #141:
For being near an outlet mall, in a strip mall next to an empty Ultimate Electronics, this is a pretty swanky DSW. It’s new, huge, organized, clean, and really well taken care of. There aren’t too many employees on the floor, but there never are at DSW’s it seems. The shoes are laid out similar to other DSW locations, though they do have far more women’s shoes than men’s, so the women’s shoes kind of bleed through most of the store.
The clearance shoes are kept in a separate area in the back of the store, color coded for discount amount and organized clearly by size. They also spread some clearance shoes throughout the normal-​priced shoes on the sale floor. They seem to put some of the better/​more recent clearance items on the floor so it makes you feel like you’re finding better deals. Prices are competitive, though sometimes I think they fudge the «other guys” prices a bit.
Probably my favorite thing is that I signed up for their rewards program, whatever it’s called. They email me a $ 10 coupon every 1 – 2 months. You don’t have to spend a minimum amount to use this coupon, so I went in and bought some socks for a grand total of $.01. The clerk checking me out didn’t even make me pay the penny for my purchase, which was kind of him (though man, I have a ton of pennies in my purse!). Now I feel like I shouldn’t waste those coupons because they are really nice about applying them to anything. Free socks is enough to keep me coming back to this DSW. I’m finally at a time in my life where I’m leaving the house just to get free socks. There– I said it. You won, DSW.

Love DSW bargains, and discounts. I am a shoe person, to my chagrin. Great place to shop with a friend so you can take advantage of sales.

Well, it’s a standard DSW. Brand new, opened last weekend. I have to say the décor is way cooler than any dsw i have seen before. But it’s all the same, shoes everywhere etc. I have to say the ladies seem to be nice. I did not notice the handbags i saw in other but i may just have overlooked them.
