Mint Floor Coverings

This business, if you can even call it that, is HORRIBLE! These guys have been in town for a few months and already have a terrible reputation, specifically for NOT paying their subcontractors. Mint is based out of Canada and recently opened their show room and warehouse off of 49^th Ave in Wheat Ridge. Their main account is with another Canadian company, Cardel Homes. There are many contractors right now in the process of filing liens against Cardel Homes properties because of non payment of worked performed at new housing sites in Solterra and Lyon’s Ridge. Amounts upwards of $ 10,000 in some cases. Along with this, the in house designer is horrible as well. The disigner’s job is to help Cardel Homes newest homeowners decide what they want to choose as far as colors and styles of carpet, hardwood, laminate, and tile. This guy has no clue about what he is doing. You are better off asking for design help at Home Depot or Lowe’s. The Owner is Craig, the General Manager at this Mint location is Tim and the Installation Manager is Patrick, not sure what Craig, Tim and Patrick’s background are in construction and business but «Crooks» seem to be more appropriate titles than Owner, G.M. and I.M.
A fair warning, stay away from this company! Maybe they will retreat back to Canada.
