Edwards has an exceptional selection of fresh, smoked and frozen meats. When it comes to meat, I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for. You can certainly buy meat cheaper at other stores, like supermarkets, but it is NOT the same product. Edwards has product quality that grocery store meat cannot approach. If cost is a concern, focus on 4−6oz per person. Quality meat will satisfy you more than the factory-farm stuff at the grocery store. Going to Edwards is like going to a candy store. There are choices aplenty to inspire the home chef. And if you have questions about a cut or animal you’ve never cooked, I’ve found the people at Edwards more than willing to «talk chop» with you.

It’s pricey and they know it. But this is the place to go for bone-in ribeye or walleye. Service is great. Don’t be shy and. Ask them to custom cut ribeye or tenderloins the length of my arm. If your the cost conscious shopper this is not the place for you. If you insist on the best cuts of prime meats and fish this is your kind of place. Nothing here for the vegetarian!

Fantastic!!! The sausage is great. We’ve tried 3 different flavors, all great taste with low fat fillers. Don’t over cook them. Bacon wrapped filet, great beef flavor, its what we are having for Christmas dinner. They also have large freezer filling packages. We are going to order one soon after the first of the year. I’ll be meat shopping only a few times a year from now on. Also, there are all types of rubs, seasonings, and speciality foods. The cost of meats are just a bit higher than grocery stores but well worth it. SO… If you are tired of grocery store meat which I think pretty much sucks and overpriced try Edwards. If your tired of paying sky high prices for good meat at Whole Foods try Edwards.

Came here to buy turkey breast for Thanksgiving since I did not want a whole turkey. After calling around to other butchers, Edwards Meats had the best and reasonable pricing. After walking around a little bit, I noticed they have all kinds of meats and quite a bit of stock on them. They even sell oysters here in bulk! I left not only with turkey, but a few other meats and jerky’s. Service here was fast, friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back.

I love the smell of this place when you go in. aromatherapy for meat lovers, ha! Always get jerky here for my hikes and it’s some of the best around. Colorado style jerky is my fav but teriyaki and black pepper are great too. They have many other kinds to choose from including elk. YumZ!

I don’t know where to start. Just try it(all) for yourself. Their sausages are ridiculously good. Do yourself a favor and try the pork and leek(either breakfast or dinner style). Last time I counted, there were 7 kinds of bacon available. You know a place is serious about food when they have choices of duck fat. Good stop for last-minute dinner; teriyaki marinated sirloin is always a hit. Best jerky in town. Attentive, knowledgeable staff. I love this place and if you like meat, you will too.

Best steaks around! Always thick and juicy steaks that are very well priced and flavorful. They have great pork chops and other meats as well. Love this place!

Great meat selection and service! They deboned short ribs for me because I wanted them boneless. It was very nice of them and they did it without blinking an eye. And the cashier has always been friendly and happy. Lots of specialty foods and deli items. The cole slaw was delicious. Check it out!

The cashier was rude. No greeting was given and she never stopped taking to the other cashier. The store wasn’t busy so the conversation could of waited. She offered a brief thank you.

Great lunch sandwiches, high quality and inexpensive! Sandwiches sold by the pound, so get a little or as much as you want!

Don’t ask for a sandwich. Every time anyone from our work does they get crappy attitudes and treat customers bad. Food is good, maybe slightly overpriced. Service sucks though. If you do not want to make sandwiches do not have it on our menu as an item to order. Our company used to frequent this place for lunch but after repeated bad experiences with the sandwhich staff we have stopped.

REVIEWFROM A PALEO/KETO FOLLOWER: Came in to this place last night, about ten minutes to close and picked up their homemade jerky and braunschweiger(the label says no nitrates and that it is made from pork that was raise without the use of antibiotics or hormones) which is great. I find that people(like myself) are willing to pay higher prices for quality products, but we want to know where our meat was raised and what they ate. I would have made a much larger purchase had Edwards had the sourcing information for their meats and bones. I asked the cashier and she just said«I have no clue» a better answer would have been to ask someone who might know, just my two cents. I found that I was disappointed in the lack of ingredient labeling on the jerky products, however the jerky I did purchase(jalapeño) was EXCELLENT. It was spicy enough it made my finger tips burn! Yes I will return, and if I can find out where the meat comes from, I may consider purchasing their freezer packs.

I love the idea of going to the butcher and selecting beautiful, fresh cuts of high quality meat. However, I wrote to them and asked where they source their livestock & did not receive a response. The website does not address how the meat is raised or where it comes from, although it talks a lot about the family business. I’d like to give more stars, but it’s just good business to provide information to your customers about your products, especially food. Also, I found exactly what I was looking for at another company — except that theirs was local, pastured and certified organic at literally almost HALF the price AND delivered to my doorstep. Sorry Edwards, you get no business from me.

I’m a big fan of this place! If you’re into meat, this place is your paradise. They have tons of choice cuts, super friendly professional staff, and reasonable prices considering the quality of the meat. Give them a try, I think you’ll like it!

Review for their hot BBQ beef sandwich. Delicious $ 5 sandwich with high quality tender meat! This store has very high premium prices with all quality inventory. I had the sandwich and half pound of macaroni salad for $ 9. All their sandwiches are priced by weight. $ 7.99 a pound

Whoa! Way over priced… the guy behind the counter was nice, but the old lady at the register was a cranky nasty ol’ bird. Pork belly at 5 bucks a pound… Good god man…

Vegetarians beware, you should avoid this place. For everyone else, this meat market is amazing. A giant smoker out front give you a indication as to all of the great dead(insert animal name here) you will find inside. At any given time there are at least a half dozen butchers behind the counter. A huge variety of freshly cut as well as packaged and vacuum sealed products. I highly recommend both the Edward’s brand turkey and ham, sliced as thin as you want for sandwiches etc. Way less sodium and more flavor that what you can buy at the grocery store. Everyone who works there is very helpful and friendly. Edwards also carries other things such as breads, marinades, veggies(pass on those) and other goods.

This is absolutely the best place to buy meat in the Denver area. Price is not an issue for us, quality and flavor is. Edwards come through every time. We have put their meats up against WF and Tony’s. There is no competition. What do we buy? Meat sticks(many flavors), hams, whole smoked racks of ribs(mmmmmmmmmmmm), meatballs(omg, they are so damn good), pork chops, filets(bacon wrapped), bacon, sausages, and various ground meats. We also once bought burger patties stuffed with blue cheese too. You can get a whole or half cooked pig even! This place is simply glorious. They also have a freezer full of pies, rolls, biscuits and other items that could totally make your dinner party rock
