Very friendly owner. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. However, he’s was very nice to chat with. I found his garden center through Groupon. I definitelyy plan on shopping there again

Not sure why everyone loves this place. I found the plants overpriced and the staff was rude. We also tried to use groupons we had purchased and were told we could only use one per visit. Overall, a disappointing experience – if we hadn’t already purchased another groupon – we would not be going back. Disappointing.

I love the retro feel of ths nursery, the sign alone makes it worth a little stop. Its a little cramped, and well stocked, but the pricing is on the very high side. And its shared location with Edwards Meats –the best butcher in town, adds cachet.
As much as Iove this little roadsie treasure, O’Toole’s or Paulino’s gets most of my gardening business.

I am obsessed with house plants, and Abner’s has helped me add some great ones to my collection. They have smaller 2.5″ and 5″ babies that are super cheap, and an awesome cactus/​succulent selection. Some places will charge double (or triple!) the price for the same plants, and I appreciate how reasonably priced everything is.
From soil to seeds to pots and everything in between, they have what you need for your gardening needs. And the staff are super friendly. Check it out!

This is the only gardening center we go to. We have tried all the others in the general area (and there are many) and this is certainly the best. It is small, but it carries everything you could need. They have a good selection of plants in the spring, and they are all locally grown. Their staff is AMAZING! I can go in with any question about my garden or lawn and they know how to answer it and how to help me out. We don’t get our gardening supplies anywhere else now.

Greaaaaat selection. I love it. There is not a lot of people working there but they know a lot and are very friendly. There really are a lot of plants to choose from.
They also have a lot of already planted containers with beautiful arrangements.
