Great little find. They bring out a fresh baked bread that is outstanding to every table. It’s rare to find a good Greek restaurant in Morris county, but this place was good. It’s byob with a liquor store next door. The prices were great, the portions were good. It gives you good options since they also serve Italian food/pizza. No parking lot so you’ll have to park on the street but very worth it.

I am definitely a fan of Theodora’s! Great Gyro, Greek Village salad, and delicious pizza. I can’t complain at all. Price is fair and friendly family owned restaurant. I rarely dine in since I live nearby but I am sure it has a great ambiance. A gorgeous Greek lady works there as well!

This place is so cute and cozy! My family always orders every Friday night for a delivery. Our usual order is a sicilian pizza, theodoras antipasto, gyro combo platter, artichoke hearts frances appetizer, Greek fries, and 3 of their Greek dessert that i cannot spell or pronounce. Portions are huge and at a reasonable price. Rose is the absolute best ! Special occasions we go and sit in and it is always a great experience. Hands down they are the best place in the area.

Very authentic Greek food! Ordered the gyro platter. Superb gyro! Meat is done differently here. Quite delicious. The sauce was aces. The greek fries that come with it are great. No ketchup on them — it would be an insult to the fries. A surprise… besides the salad, I got a generous piece of goat cheese, too. My wife had the fried calamari and loved it. She also had the fried greek cheese. Very yummy! Amazing desserts, too. Will be back again! A new favorite close to home! The staff couldn’t be nicer and very prompt. Great experience. PS they deliver!

Randomly stopped by between lunch n dinner and found a gem. Nice specials n a great menu, when a restaurant has a ton of items on the menu it usually scares me, u can’t make everything without giving up quality. I had the chicken Marsala, they offer it on the menu with pasta or broccoli, I love that I’m on a no pasta kick, the waitress, who was very nice, brings over the most wonderful looking square warm bread thing, it looked so good I ate it all, there goes my carbs for the day. The Marsala was great as well, the sauce was so good that’s where the bread went into. All for 11 $ with a drink. Love it.

I came here with some friends because it was close to work. The waitress seemed annoyed when we were ordering and the food wasn’t that great. I probably won’t ever go back. I had the Greek wrap it wasn’t anything special.

The atmosphere is ok. The waiters were unusual to say the least. The food was mediocre at best. I had the chicken souvlaki platter– the chicken was dry and overdone. The two stars is for over charging. My kid had spaghetti and sauce and we were charged meatballs. I brought this to the waiters attention and he said nope– no meatball in the charge. Same with my older child– charged 2.00 more on her meal for no apparent reason. Bill did not compare to price on menu. Waiter very fishy and unresponsive.

Food was excellent! My husband and I came with a group of friends today and thought this place was truly a hidden gem! Greek food was authentic and very well flavored. The gyro and Greek seasoned fries were amazing. All of the food especially the salad and bread was so fresh and not greasy or heavy at all. We also indulged in tartufo, baklava, and cheesecake which were all so delicious. Definitely a hidden gem and a place we will visit in the near future :)

Went with a few friends at Greek night and enjoyed a lot. We ordered specials and everything was awesome. Had the Bronzini and loved it. The bread here is to die for. Portions are huge. The owners treat you like family and are very warm. Service is fast and their menu is very elaborate. One of the best places I have eaten at. Will definitely visit again soon.

Everything is amazing here. From their homemade rolls, pizza, apps, GREEK&ITALIANFOOD, desserts. I mean you can find pretty much anything here and huge portions. I come at least twice a week. I have had George cater three of my events; all of my guests always love it. Most of the time they give a few extra desserts here and there. Definitely wonderful people! I don’t know why there are 1 star reviews. I can count plenty of times where I have seen the owners or employees go the extra mile for their customers. From helping the elderly out with their food to making accommodations to people that have allergies.(I go early to pick up my food so I witness a lot of things) When I told them my eldest brother had past, they even sent a tray of food over. To the hospital gentlemen below, I have been to St Clares«nearby hospital», cannot say you guys are friendliest that is FORSURE. Definitely amazing. that’s it!

One of the best restaurants Wharton has to offer! Have been ordering from there for years as well as all of my family and the portions are great for the prices ! Wouldn’t go anywhere else to get the best pizza in town! Definitely give it a try!

Not sure what the other reviewers have eat’n, But! I love this place the food is prepared with«Love» and family hands. George puts his heart and soul into everything he creates. I for one thank you for this. This family run bussines treats you like family and makes sure your dining in or out experience is better then just good. I will always look forward to my favorite«Lamb» I am picky about the preparation of this meat and he has perfected it. Yum Yum! So many other things I have tried and I won’t stop til I have just about finished with his entire menu and than ask for something prepared special just for me. Great atmosphere, clean, bright but not to bright lighting. Romantic. Etc. it’s a must go to place in my book… So Go. All my best

Interesting menu that has both Italian and Greek dishes. I tried the gyro combo platter and my girlfriend had the pasta topped with bruschetta, chicken and a balsamic glaze. Both were surprisingly good and the portions were large enough for 2 meals! Also, each meal comes with a salad and large warm rolls, so come here hungry. Lastly, the staff was extremely friendly. I would return if in the area.

Walked in, Blonde woman behind counter busy counting money out of drawer. So i just dtood there patiently wsiting in front of her. So I waited. A couple who finished eating came out of dining hall chatted with her for awhile. They leave and she walks away, totally ignoring me. Very rude, wont go in there again.

My boyfriend and I pick up food here at least twice a week. Their food is wonderful and the wait is usually only 20 minutes. The Greek salad is so fresh and full of veggies and real feta cheese and the tzatziki sauce is delicious! My boyfriend loves their falafel pita, too! The pasta fagioli is also really good. the bread that the salads come with is warm and has to be homemade because its so good! The owners are welcoming and friendly and always making sure you have everything you want and need! Best Greek place around!

While working at the nearby hospitals, We order from this place daily, until now. The crew ordered from there. 2 salads and an order of calamari. The calamari was requested to be split into two brown paper bags. They were charged over $ 60 for this order of 2 salads and two(not one) orders of calamari. A call was made to complain about the error and an argument ensued. George(the owner) should have apologized and refunded their money for one calamari, but began to argue with our staff. He ended up coming back to the hospital and refund the entire cost of the order and take his food with him. He was rude, patronizing, and condescending to the staff in the ER that night. Good food or not, customer service is what keeps patrons coming back not an unpredictable argumentative owner. For all the orders placed by all units on both campuses, Theodora’s should have bit their tongue, admitted the error and refunded the money. What ever happened to the customer is always right?

So good we went there twice within a few days. Day one we tried their gyros. Very good. A lot of meat, good homemade sauce. Even had a sample of their homemade desserts which were very good. Day two we did take out. Their thin crust pizza is some of the best in the area. Also enjoyed their lasagna. Lots of meat, good homemade sauce. The dining area is very comfortable and as others have mentioned, the entire family is involved. Nice people, efficient service.

Went there b/c my brother raved about it… he has pretty basic tastes so I had my doubts. Blown away by this little BYOB in such a small town. Table bread was HOT, crispy, and had this layer of Parmesan… it wasn’t dry at all. So didn’t need any butter. But a dab made it that much tastier. Salad was fresh with chunks of ricotta ensalada. I had the spanikopita… tried my BFs dish. It was the special forget the whitefish but it was with a bruscetta topping and string beans. Everything was outstanding. The owner/chef came out at the end of the meal to check on our table. Really nice guy. Seriously a hidden gem in an area where you wouldn’t expect it.
