Started going here a few years ago and found the regular pizza to be very good to excellent, but two recent visits suggest they have changed the cheese they use and the pizza has suffered as a result. Where once I would have heartily recommended this shop, today it’s just another below average pizza place. Maybe the entrees are better, but if a pizzeria(see shop name) can’t even make good basic pizza, I have no use for them.

Simply the best pizza and Italian food in Morris County. Get the Nonna pizza, the stuffed pizza, sausage and peppers, the veggie boli, pasta and meatballs, any soup, eggplant or chicken parm. Honestly, get whatever you like. You can’t go wrong. The owner is a good guy, too.

Love this place! Best pizza in the area(and some of the best in New Jersey)! Super friendly delivery staff and fresh, tasty pizza. If you need a quality pie — look no further.

Delicious food and wonderful staff! We had the garlic knots, eggplant rollatini and chicken parm dinner. Everything was great and love that they’re BYOB. Definitely recommend

My Warton based friends raved about the pizza at Marie’s so we stopped in to check things out. The dining room is clean and nicely decorated. The waitstaff both courteous and efficient — a wonderful combo. The menu has lots of Italian specialties but we’re here for the pie. Their selection lists several sizes from personal to XL. Each is about $ 1 more as the sizes go up. We picked the next to largest last night and it was enough for two with three slices left over for take home. Down to brass tacks. The crust is wonderful. It has a great bite and just the right crunch. The sauce is tangy with a hint of spice(oregano?) and applied with an expert hand. The cheese tastes like good mozzarella and it covers each slice generously. Overall, this is good, thin crust, crispy pizza(but not too thin — Kinchley in Mahwah is the thin crust King)! Their soda machine dispenses good soda– a well managed fountain. Good prices, friendly service, yummy pizza. Recommended.

I ordered for the first time yesterday for delivery. My food took about 1 hour to get to my house and was cold and soggy. I ordered a salad … that ended up having hard boiled eggs that were green around the yolk, and green peppers that were slimy. My kids had the green cheese and one had a wrap the sandwiches were cold and the wrap had old lettuce, even the fries were soggy. It so disappointing. I am sorry Maris’s but I will not be ordering again.

This pizzeria treats their employees and customers horribly ! I so happened to be there while there was a dilemma happening between the owner and one of the staff. The way that they treat their employers is ridiculous and especially when it is done so publicly while the customers are in the store ! I felt very uncomfortable by the way that he was cursing and screaming, and made the dilemma so public and was shamming the employee it was very rude and extremely unprofessional ! I will no longer be eating or ordering from this pizzeria they do not deserve the business. Especially if that is the way that they treat their employees and customers! I have told plenty of people so that they too can take their business elsewhere. A business is a business and employees should not be treated such way and or make a scene in front of customers ! Worse pizzeria and experience i have ever encountered while eating out !

Updating my review because the food is always delicious and the waitstaff and owner are beyond friendly. The pizza is the best around but I recommend the vodka sauce or baked ziti. Maria’s is our go-to restaurant.

The food is pretty good and the people are nice. I don’t like that local establishments charge 50 cent more if you don’t have a 10.00 minimum on a credit card. It is unfair to the customer and I will not be going to any of these places that charge more if I don’t meet the minimum.

Pleasant folks and a good meal. Had a Meatball Parm sandwich today to go w/the Chicken Calzone. Toppings/filling were plentiful, and the taste was good. We also had the Garlic knots and pepperoni twist — which were flavorful as well. They gladly accepted an Entertainment book coupon, and offered suggestions for our next visit. We will be going there again soon.

We love Maria’s Pizza! Great food and the staff is extremely friendly. The pizza is wonderful and they make a great Greek salad. They never mess up a delivery order… never. I always get exactly what we want!

A small unassuming storefront restaurant on the Main Street in Wharton, NJ is actually one of the better Italian restaurants in the area. A friendly staff, simple and straight forward menu and very generous portions make this a real find. The pasta deluxe was chock full of meatballs, sausage and chicken and the pasta was done to perfection. The lasagna was light and filled with a delicious, creamy and flavorful ricotta. Top this off with reasonable prices and it’s a win-win.

The baked Ziti was very good and cheesy. The linguini with mussels and marinara sauce was rich and smoky. The baked lasagna was delicious. The service was fantastic and efficient.

Nice little place with friendly staff. The pizza was nice but a little too cheesy for me(that may be a good thing for others) the chicken cutlet sandwich was good but could be better. Fresh ingredients and a large menu.

Pizza is fine, sauce a bit too garlic heavy. The guys behind the counter are friendly. There’s a little eat-in area. I did think it was a bit pricey for a pizza place, regular slices and pies are a normal price but once you start getting anything special it gets expensive quickly!

Nice little pizza joint. We usually carry out, but have eaten in once. The time we did, it was bitterly cold outside, and their heater wasn’t working inside, so it was uncomfortable chilly in the restaurant… about which they were very apologetic. While we were there, they were very attentive. Great salads, great pizza. Our go-to place for«we don’t wanna cook, let’s get pizza» nights.

Amazing authentic pizza! Margarita and chicken parm are amazing! Also great garlic knots, wings, and cold cut sandwiches! All the workers are super nice and on top of their game! Love them all! Food is a little expensive, but totally worth it. Fresh ingredients that don’t make you feel gross after eating it!

This is a very intimate little pizza place on Main Street in Wharton. There are about 8 tables and the take out is close to the dining area. The aromas run deep and there are a few tables for outdoor seating. The menu is very heavily red sauce based but there is a nice selection of the traditional meats(veal, sausage, meatballs, chicken). The place is very affordable and you get good portions. If it is slow, the service will check up on you a lot!!!
