It is 2am. I’m running a fever. Just now, I called the pharmacy twice to get info for my doctor to send a prescription in. The first time, I’m on hold and they just hang up on me, without me getting to speak to anyone. The second time, I get someone, but as I’m describing my situation, he hangs up on me! This is very frustrating.

I was looking for something to relieve my Dad’s pain. Five staff members in the Pharmacy but none could make eye contact, much less offer help. No other customers near the Pharmacy, but whatever… After patiently waiting for eight minutes, I walked to the front of the store. So why does this review get 5 stars? Deb, the cashier at the front of the store — I explained to her what I was looking for and she walked me to the item, all the while cheerfully asking me about my father, etc. If she were single and older, I’d be trying to set her up with Dad! Thank you Deb, for your kindness, courtesy, positive spirit and heart. Note to Store Manager — Some of your Pharmacy staff could take some pointers from Deb. Perhaps you could have them stand on the customer side of the Pharmacy Counter for 8 minutes while pharmacy staff ignore them and then ask them how they feel.

Christmas Day. Holiday items are scare. No egg nog. Boo! James at the pharmacy was so helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Sue(cashier) blew. It was quite obvious that she wasn’t happy to be working on Christmas.

This CVS location is just OK. It’s biggest plus is that it’s open 24 hours. The front sidewalk/entrance is always littered with trash and cigarette butts, which is off-putting. Service is inconsistent, but some cashiers try their hardest. Selection if merch. is not as varied as Walgreen’s. Pharmacy counter often backs up and they rarely have staff to address.

DON’T use the PHOTO place here. It took 2 days for 24X6 photos to be processed via online. When I went to pick them up, no one was behind the photo counter and the regular cashier had a long line, so she wouldn’t even look my way. I left and went in a couple of days later. The girl behind the counter wasn’t listening to what I was saying and she looked through a few things and said my order wasn’t there and I should come back tomorrow. I had to bring up my email confirmation and have the manager look for it. He found it and gave it to me with a look like I was the one who was hiding it and being difficult. ? I just sent another online order of 24×6 pictures to the new Hingham Shipyard CVS and received my email confirmation 20 minutes later. All ready so much better.

There can be a long wait at the pharmacy for new scripts but once your just refilling the drive thru window is great. Pharmacists seem to know theie stuff– especially the one at night. I love that it’s 24 hours– super convenient.
