The best in the business! Only fix what is needed, no runaround, trustworthy, and reliable. Has been family go to place for many years. Jim and sons do everything right to make sure you understand what they need to do. Only problem is they are so good, it can be crowded at times with only two lifts! Kudos to the Lamores team!

After hitting a pothole on I-​91 south in CT I was lucky enough to be directed to Lamore’s Gulf by my navigation system. They took me in right away, even though by the looks of all the cars in the lot, they were very busy. The mechanic ordered a tire and had me back on the road within an hour. The price was fair and the service outstanding.

Great old fashioned garage! They do it all at reasonable prices. Sometimes they are a bit slow to deliver because of the big demand for their services, but worth the wait. Honest, reliable and a family business. What more could you want!

I am very happy with the service I’ve received at Lamore’s, and with the quality of work they’ve done on my car. The employees are very friendly, and they really go out of their way to take their customers’ needs into account. Recently, I called AAA to have my car towed and repaired, after it «conked out» on me. A mechanic from Lamore’s came to help me out, and he immediately identified the problem: my alternator needed to be replaced. My car was good as new by the next afternoon, and someone from Lamore’s even came to pick me up from work. I will definitely call Lamore’s again, and I would recommend them to anyone!

more than fair on prices and it is worth every penny. Truly a family business that cares and is honest. I have referred many friends with great success. Sometimes they are very busy (rightly so) but it is certainly worth the wait.

Lamore’s has been our go to mechanic for 4 generations of our family. Beginning with my grandmother and now to my children, Over the span of many years they have always been trusting, reliable, fair and have never been unable to diagnose an issue. If there is something that they can’t do, which has only been body work, they get it done. As a woman that has been through many experiences with attempts to be taken advantage of by automotive people I will say that Jimmy and Todd have never been anything but fair, courteous and respectful. Best garage in town, the lot might always be packed, but don’t let that deter you. They are just that busy, and for a good reason. I’ve been taking my car to Jimmy and Mike for over 10 years and they always been straight and given me a fair price. They are car gurus. If your wheels are making a odd whirling sound when you break or you hear some knock under the hood they will take the car for a ride, hear the problem and have it fixed in a day or two. Now that is service!
