I discovered I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt after dining at a nearby Italian bistro. The yogurt parlor immediately brought me back to Summers at the Jersey Shore due to the creative and colorful displays of candy, photographs, and cute décor. While the yogurt is not self-service like some of Bergen County’s best, it’s not laughable either(e.i. Jubilate). I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt remains a gem in itself due to it’s rich flavors and above average yogurt texture. My favorite flavor is the strawberry. I have tried both the standard and fat-free varieties, and while there is not necessarily a major difference in terms of taste, the difference in portion quantity is very noticeable. I can’t say that there is necessarily a true«con» when it comes to ICBIY so I will refrain from overly scrutinizing. There is a wide assortment of candy, ice cream, and yogurt, all of which have a sufficient taste. However, I wish they accepted credit and debit cards! I advise readers to give the parlor an initial try, which I am sure will result in a few more after that.

This is a cute, popular corner spot to visit during the summer months with friends. Pleasant servers are ready to quickly provide patrons with a cool treat, whether you crave low-fat soft serve or original ice cream. There’s a plethora of fun flavors to chose from, like«milky way» or classic«cookies ‘n’ cream». On my visit, I thought the cleanliness level needed a boost, the indoor seating area & tables could have been wiped down a bit more. You might opt for the outdoor seats available, provided it’s not too hot outside.

Yes, I can believe it’s yogurt. And yogurt generally tastes a bit better. The fat-free chocolate yogurt had a strange flavor and an unpleasant, lasting after-taste. The fat-free hot fudge was only slightly better. Two stars for the service(great) and the ice cream that I sampled, which was pretty good.

This place has been around for awhile and is always consistently yummy. They usually have at least eight flavors, or flavor combos of low-fat or fat-free frozen yogurt. The lime tastes like key-lime pie which makes me happy, and the Butter Pecan is quite delicious as well. They have iced cream as well and lots of toppings and things. They are a bit pricey, but no more so than most iced cream places. The same guy works there who did when I was a teenager, and he looks exactly the same too. They also still have that same stupid policy of only cash and look at you cockeyed if you hand them a card. Oh well. It gets pretty packed in the summertime, but it’s worth it. Good stuff. Get ready for summer, peoples!
