For taste, they have one of the best bagels in the nearby area. The service is inconsistent and they also tend to burn the bagels when you ask for it toasted. It is also expensive as a bagel with cream cheese is $ 3. You’re better off getting an egg sandwich at that rate. Despite price and inconsistency in service, I’m giving it a 4 because I do enjoy their bagels

A little over priced. $ 2.50 for a bagel with butter. Food is good but for $ 0.75 cents less, I can also get a larger bagel down the street

Food is good and fresh, fairly good selection. A bit over priced though. Service is not consistent. They don’t have a good service operation. Every employee takes individual customer orders, then goes away and make your order, and then come back to take care of the bill. Which makes the wait time VERYLONG. They are busy at times, but some of the employee can’t be bothered when you ask them a question regarding an item on their menu. I only come here when Flynn’s Deli’s are closed, for this exact reason. I am Chinese and there are a lot of things I’ve never really had before. I’ve asked them what flavor is the dark brown bagel, and the first guy simply ignored me. He saw me, I asked the question, he mumbled something, I said«excuse me?», he said«Oh, I was talking to that guy(another employee)» then walked away. Then the second guy gave me a answer but in a condescending tone as if everyone should know what flavor bagel that is without any further explanation. I understand the store is busy, but you can take 30seconds to answer a question for a customer who is about to spend $ in your store. Another employee that was standing near by started to explain a little more and asked if I would like to sample one. So here you have 1 out of 3 employees who are willing to help and provide service. They also close earlier regardless of the posted closing time. When they say they close at 3pm, they really close between anywhere from 2:30−3 depending on if they are busy or not. Not every employee is bad, there’s def some that are helpful and provide a good service, but some are not nice at all.

The absolute best bagels in Bergen County. Whenever my daughter visits from Pittsburgh, she has to bring 2 – 3 dozen Goldberg bagels back for her friends and coworkers.

This place alternates between 2 and 4 stars. If the guy in the led Zeppelin shirt makes your food you are good as gold. Any deviation from this usually results in loss of quality. You need to position yourself in line correctly to get his services. Sometimes it can be difficult. Added a star for service smoked Salmon in Brooklyn. I take note of good salmon.

Very tasty and always fresh bagels at Goldberg’s Bagels. Been here a few times and always enjoyed the service and my meals. You can get everything from your typical bagels and muffins, to omelettes and specialty sandwiches. Yums.

Been coming here for a long time. Best bagels in the area by far very convenient that they are open at 4 am so you can stop in on your way to work or on your way home from the bar. I usually get Taylor ham egg and cheese hashbrown on an everything.

Quick service in the morning and are super friendly. Be prepared to wait on a line, but it moves pretty fast.

I wonder if some of the bad reviews are for other locations of Goldbergs because we both thought it was excellent. Granted we were there at lunchtime and not during the morning rush. My husband said the corn beef sandwich was one of the best he’s ever had. And the prices were relatively reasonable. It’s so much better than the Goldbergs where we live.

Some of the best bagels in the area, just get there early so they don’t run out of the really popular favors. There can be long lines so be prepared. You won’t be disappointed with the cream cheese flavors that’s for sure!

Bagels and Flagels are excellent. Breakfast sandwiches are great. I absolutely love the spicy tuna salad. Great lunch. Coffee is good also. It can get crazy busy. Good for them. Good, solid bagel place.

There are several Goldbergs in the Bergen County area. This is by far the best of the bunch. Clean, efficient service and a great selection for breakfast and lunch.

The atmosphere at this place makes all the difference. You can see a person making fresh bagels, families with kids, right on Westwood shopping street. We get our usual bagels and the delicious coffee(much better than the starbucks a few blocks away). The problem is that this place is crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings when we usually go there. I don’t think there bagels are expensive, basically if you want to eat good stuff you got to pay. There are around 6 – 7 people taking the order and they have never messed up my order. If you think they have just tell them and tell will promptly make you the correct one.

This place can’t get an order right to save their lives. If you want bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, you’ll be ok. If you want anything else, you’ll get bacon egg and cheese on a bagel.

Paid $ 12 for two bagels and a coffee. I’m used to it since I’m from NYC. The problem is that they managed to mess my order up completely. I ordered two bacon egg white and cheese bagels and I get the whole egg with ketchup and cheese. It was the worst bagel I ever had coming from a place that specializes in bagels. Random corner store NYC delis(bodegas) can do a better job. H o w Also customer service was ass. I got a bad vibe from the dude.

My order is wrong every time. Everything bagel toasted with butter– I always get cream cheese and not toasted or some variation. The amount of times I get home or to work and realize my order is wrong is 95% of each visit. Basically, don’t bother with them.

Growing up I use to love their bagels. Now that I’m back in town I find them to be not what they use to be and expensive.

This is a good bagel store, prices are fair and the food is good. Also, the service is great, lines go quick and the orders are always remembered correctly. I really liked their whole wheat everything bagel, you don’t see that at every store so big plus there. Miles ahead of that overpriced Ronnie’s in Hillsdale. I’m now a regular, worth checking out.

Edited to add: Had a toasted sesame bagel with lox/cream cheese today. Lox was special. Not too salty. Bagel was toasted perfectly. Cream cheese was warm and gooey. AaaaaH! I’ve only had the coffee here and it’s quite fabulous!
