The roast beef sandwich was fresh and had a pleasantly thick cut of beef! My friend had a salad, which was humongous.

This spot is always good for an assortment of wholesome entrees and sides. The baked goods are also great. I am generally going by for lunch but the also have lots of dinner options.

THis i probably the best restaurant in the little town of Weston. THe sandwiches are old style and amazing, yet almost evrything on the menu is good itself! I remember coming here as a kid, and nothing has changed! 100%

Meh. I’ve given the coffee a few chances and it’s just not good. Asked the woman behind the counter who roasts their coffee and she didn’t know. They use pods for their espresso. Not cool, especially given the number of fantastic roasters around. And I just think if you’re a coffee place, you should know about coffee and take pride in it. I’ve several times tried lattes and drip coffee; both are unremarkable. Service is very slow but mostly pleasant. The food in the case looks really good. Maybe their focus is on the food…

Good spot to get lunch in Weston. A bit pricey. Short hours. Very small, take out is the best option.

Short version: Food is amazing, service is hit or miss. Long version: I’ll admit, the first few times I went here I was really put off by how oddly the staff behaved. The first time I got some real resistance and attitude when I went to pay with a credit card. Like, «are you sure you don’t have cash? *big sigh, slight eyeroll* well, I guess I can run the card…» Trust me, if an establishment has a credit card minimum sign clearly posted then I’ll abide by it, but I’ve looked and haven’t seen one there. If I’m wrong about this please correct me. The next time I went they took my order(to eat there) then ignored me until well after it had finished heating. Finally after 6 people made eye contact with me the one who took my order asked if I’d gotten my meal yet.(I’m pretty passive and won’t interrupt people if they don’t initiate conversation. My fault, yes I know, but I feel like it’s rude to say HEYWHERE’S MYDINNAH. Kind of implied if you took my order and I’m not eating it). I shook my head no and they checked the microwave and lo and behold there it was. Anyway, I had the paella and it was delicious. Completely made up for the bizarre food withholding. I went there again recently and because of another reviewer got the egg salad sandwich the exact way she described it: with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucs, sprouts, and dried cranberries. Hands down it was the best egg salad sandwich as a whole I’ve ever had. The egg salad on its own would have been kind of boring but with all these extras it was delicious. Bonus, the woman who made my sandwich and my coworker’s sandwich was very friendly and didn’t give me attitude when I said I only had my credit card on me to pay. To be honest, I’m excited to continue to eat my way through their salads and sandwiches. If they’re any like the ones I’ve had I am sure my tastebuds will not be disappointed. I’m giving 4 stars to give them something to reach for in the service department.

If they were open when they said they are maybe I could review. Went there this morning after walking at Cat Rock! Closed, no sign, no anything! Is this anyway to run a business???

This is a great place to stop by for lunch! I got the Cobb salad and it was delicious. It took a while to prepare since it was made from scratch but, I would rather wait than have someone hand me a premade salad. I got a devils food caramel cupcake which was moist and flavorful, the frosting was sweet but as my tagline mentions I don’t mind sweet. :) I got some food to take home and for $ 8 the panko crusted chicken was a disappointment. It was really dry and expensive for only one piece. The broccoli au-gratin did not disappoint, it was awesome. I’m glad that we were able to snag some outdoor seating because the place is a bit of a zoo around lunch time. They don’t seem to have the best system in place, it seems like the person who takes your order is in charge of ringing you out as well but, when you are waiting ten minutes for your salad it wouldn’t hurt to have a separate cashier to get you your drink and ring you out to be more efficient. Overall, I will definitely be visiting them again for lunch!

Tiny café in Weston Center that serves my favorite cobb salad in the world. Home-style food is made with care — never know what they’ll be serving but it’s always good. Great place for lunch if you work on the 95 corridor and have a little extra time to make the drive. Try the baked goods too!

Nothing makes me happier than a restaurant that puts love and care into preparing its food. And that’s exactly what you’ll find at this little restaurant/catering spot tucked away in the heart of Weston Center. The options for meat-free sandwiches are limited. Egg salad or cheese & veggies were my only options. So I went with the egg salad. While the egg salad itself is nothing to get excited over(egg + mayo, a little on the soupy side), the amount of care put into my sandwich preparation won me over. Between two fresh slices of Iggy’s multigrain bread lay: * A tangy slice of cheddar cheese * A swath of said salad * Romaine lettuce torn to fit the bread just right * Thin-sliced tomatoes(no slippage) * Four cute cucumber rounds, one in each corner(no overlapping) * A veil of sprouts * A sprinkling of dried cranberries Cut on the diagonal and served straight-up on a farmhouse-look metal plate, this sandwich was the culinary version of an afternoon delight. A chocolate chip cookie, taken to go, was a big, crispy disk of vanilla-laced goodness. Perfect for savoring with a hot beverage. With a few daily soups on the menu, a towering fritatta, tossed-to-order salads, and a few hearty-looking dishes(mac and cheese, fried rice with shrimp, roasted veggies), this place has earned a spot on my go-to list for lunches during the work week. Prices seem to be quite fair. No fancy-town up-pricing. Considering the small space, seating is plentiful(three small tables with four chairs apiece, one longer table that probably seats six, and a few umbrella tables outside – once the weather turns lovely again.

Every town should have an Off Center. Problem is, if every town did, then this cute little restaurant/catering business wouldn’t seem so special. Of course, if it had locations in other places it be hard to replicate all of the good things that come out of here. So, if you’re in the mood for a little drive down Route 20, you’ve got a treat in store when you drive into Weston Center. Tucked away behind Boston Post Road and the Bruegger’s/Omni Foods building, Off Center is a little restaurant/catering business serving the early morning-breakfast/lunch crowd. There’s a definate French feel to the place, with its décor, sandwich selection and catered items. It’s cozy… there are a few tables inside and several outside but not enough to handle a big crowd. With the catering business run out of the same space, a larger dining area wouldn’t be possible, though. While sandwich selections are a bit more limited than I’d like, the cheeses, breads and soups that accompany them make diners wonder whether they’ve just stopped in the Provence countryside. I’m especially a fan of Off Center’s chocolate brownies… some of the best I’ve ever had outside of my mother’s kitchen. The coffee selection offers standard items yet everything is flavorful enough to make it memorable. It doesn’t seem to matter what one has here… everything about Off Center seems a bit fresher, tastier and richer than what’s found in larger, more crowded places charging higher prices. There are a few drawbacks, such as the limited hours, the fact that it’s closed on Sundays, an occasionally long wait, its cramped dining space, and the fact that it’s tough to find. Still, that’s to be expected when considering that everything is fresh, made to order, and done in the midst of a pretty substantial catering operation. This is a really special little place that makes a great detour for anyone taking one of the roads less travelled west of Boston and certainly worth the trip from anywhere.
