Steve’s Pizza

We needed a quick bite while in the middle of traffic. It didn’t end up being as quick as we’d like, but our custom pizza was very, very good. The place is old and is in desperate need of some upgrades, but it was nice to watch the news on the large wall-​hung TV.

OMG I just ate at Steve’s after reading reviews haven’t been at that place in a while.
People I ordered a chicken salad sub — the only thing I can say that was any good; the roll, it was fresh!!! The chicken salad was tasteless and just mayo. Decided to have a slice that was dripping with grease never again

Our office sometimes gets treated to free pizza for lunch, and recently we got some from Steve’s. Now of course free pizza automatically tastes better than other pizza :) but nevertheless…
There were different kinds and the boxes weren’t marked, so what I thought was hamburger turned out to be meat lovers. The hamburg was visible but the other meats were under the cheese. Other than being a bit salty, the sauce was a little sweet but not too sweet and the crust was on the thinner side. Lots of cheese too. I would order from there (and pay for it!)

eat here all the time. Steve and the wife are great, food is good, quick and inexpensive. Hope they stick around during the growth of this part of Waltham.

Maybe everything else there is good. I don’t know, but the one and only time I went, I ordered a chicken Parm sub. It was very pricy considering it was 2 CHICKEN PATTIES with cold cheese sprinkled on top. I get a stomach ach just thinking about it.

I drive by this place all the time, so, I decided to stop in and check it out. Inside is fairly big, lots of booths and tables. The décor is a tad outdated but, that doesn’t take away from their food or service. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and pleasant (I assume he is the owner).
I ordered a steak and cheese with extra cheese and when asked if I wanted it toasted, well, YES! I was the only person in there so my order was done fairly quickly. I didn’t eat until I got home, but, YUM. It was toasty, cheesy, and well seasoned. No complaints. I know that in Waltham Carl’s seems to be the place for a steak and cheese, but, I prefer shaved steak and Steve’s seems to do it well.

Old school pizza place– could definitely do with some renovations. That being said the pizza was tasty and served with a smile!
Good option for a quick bite if you’re driving through as I was!

The buffalo chicken wrap is the best I have ever had, same with the buffalo pizza !! That’s all I ever get

Generous portions. Cheese pizza $ 2/​slice. But the slices are the size of 2 haha. Soda $ 2/​bottle. Man at the counter is very nice, great customer service. The only crappy part is using your debit or credit card costs an extra 50 cents on orders under $ 10. Small parking lot. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. Inside is a typical small pizza joint. A few napkins on the floor, booths, sports paraphernalia. They have the option of to-​go orders, but I ate inside. On a busy road but definitely in the residential side. Stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick bite after an interview. If I get the job, they’ll be seeing a lot more of me!

We stopped at Steve’s for a much needed pizza refuel on our way out of Boston after the marathon this week. We were a little worried when we saw that there was only one person serving customers and doing the cooking. (this could be troublesome if the restaurant were full) We ordered three large pizzas for eight of us. Much to our delight, the order took all of 15 mins and were very tasty — the dough was very light and the pies weren’t greasy. It turned out the man behind the counter was indeed the infamous Steve — a very kind and welcoming host.

Was really iffy about this place based on the looks/​inside. Got a greek salad wrap and it was outstanding! Loved the chicken and the dressing.

I work down the street and stop by maybe once a week, great food, reasonable prices, the owners are very friendly

Great pizza hole in the wall. Our first choice for lunch at the office. Family owned by nice folks. Great pizza, salads, subs.

From the street, this place looks less than inviting, and to the untrained eye, closed. If my stomach hadn’t been grumbling, and the parking lot a flurry of activity, I would’ve assumed it was closed and would’ve moved on to the next sub shop.
2 pepperoni slices, 2 (bottles) soda, and a special grilled chicken wrap: $ 16. Slices were handed over immediately, as they had been sitting in one of those warmer carousel thingies previous.
The wrap was a bit of a wait, as orders had been called in and were being picked up around us, in fact I was able to devour both slices before the wrap even made it across the counter.
«I think they had to go chase the chicken!» my dad said when he finally came out with his lunch.
Big parking lot. Lots of cafeteria style seating. Decently nice people. Worth the stop, pretty good pizza, might be the best (and least greasy!) I’ve had around this neck’o’thewoods in a while.

Great food, easy access and never a bad wait. Subs and pizza are excellent.
Highly recommend!

This place is great. I’ve tried pretty much every pizza place on Main st, Waltham and not one came close to Steve’s Pizza.
Great for lunch and great subs, but the pizza is my favorite.

Working class joint run by Steve and the fam. Good folks. The mom loves to yell though, so watch out.
Decent subs.

I’ve only had had lunch here, but they make good subs with pretty fast service when I need to get back to the grind.
