Their best service: Eyebrows. I won’t go anywhere else for my brows. They make even the worst over pluckings look good again. They are fast too. So your in and out and get can a move on with your day. I’ve had my husband wait in the car before and he rolled his eyes at me and then was shocked how quickly I came back in the car with a fresh look! I had a massage here once, I give that 3 stars as it was not the most relaxing. And a pedicure one time which I give 1 star because the lady soaked my feet in cold water and then got mad when I asked her to make it warmer. I ended up stopping that service and she never finished. But I do still go there for their specialty which is Eyebrows!

If I can give zero star to this salon I would! I will never came to this salon ever again! I went for deep conditioning and it cost $ 30! My hair don’t even feel clean after and I had to clean my hair again at home! The service not even include blow dry your hair, the lady ask me what i need after clean my hair from the conditioning. Since my scalp is dry she ask me to sit under a dryer to let my hair dry! When I paid by credit card the cashier asked do you have cash to tip the lady??? What kind of question is this? She does not care if you get a good service. When I said the service is not pleasant she said come next time I have another lady for you. Please don’t waste your time and money at this place!

Raji is the sweetest woman who I’ve ever invited to expertly pulled my soul out using hot wax … Okay kidding aside … Raji gave me an incredible wax today. Super fast and efficient and she was so pleasant and totally put me at ease. By the way I’m 39 weeks pregnant so I’m in a delicate condition but she was still just awesome. Up until meeting Raji I was driving to Lincoln Park Trim for my waxes because I’m so particular about brazilian waxes. Now I will be coming to Raji!

I have been here once before for a thread and tint and it was fine, similar to my NYC place in terms of price and quality. But today was a complete disaster. I’ve never ever had someone thread my eyebrow so thin. I have no idea where to even start with growing it back. One eyebrow is thin, the other has scattered hairs around it. They didn’t even tint all of the hairs, then blamed the awful thread job on my blonde eyebrows.
If it weren’t this terrible I could’ve let it go. Some threads are better than others. But I am mortified that my eyebrow is almost gone. Self esteem killer for at least a month. I obviously will not return here.

This place always seems to be busy. Not hectic just busy. I’ve gone for 2 Brazilian waxes since leaving the only I went to in the city. I was nervous going to a new place but it was perfect. Not really what I expected but it was professional. I think her name was Raj and she is so nice and quick. You don’t want to stay on that table too long! I was out in about 15 minutes.
I’m hoping to try them for a haircut and pedicure.

Yes, this salon gets SUPER BUSY which is why I call first whenever I need a facial, massage, (or Brazilian) and make an appointment. For threading alone, even with seven women ahead of you, it goes by very fast. This is a popular place for threading. There’s at least 4 or 5 ‘threadists’ alone (depending on weekday or weekend) and they are very good and highly efficient. $ 7 brow threading (brows, face, neck, you name it, they thread it!).
If you want a very affordable, really good deep exfoliating facial for only $ 35 — you definitely need to check this place out. Raji (very nice woman) does the facial’s. THIS IS NOT A RESORT SPA FACIAL EXPERIENCE! You don’t come here to be ‘facially pampered’. You come here to get your pores cleaned — and Raji is a WARRIOR at getting the job done.
She uses alot of steam, huge magnifying glass, detox lotions, moisturizer and then massages your skin… I’m not gonna lie… after some facial’s here, I have felt a little worn out… and sometimes, it kindof hurts. But such is life being a woman. We endure many things — and having radiant, healthy, clean skin is one of them. I’ve had high priced facials before, and nothing compares to my experience here at a fraction of the cost! She will extract until she is satisfied with the results and you will leave saying «WOW!, «I’ve never had anyone do such a fantastic job!» I say it every time — fantastic facials at a steal…
I’ve also had massage’s by Davvi and when I request a ‘deep tissue’ she doesn’t disappoint. I’m very picky with massage therapists and usually never feel very ‘satisfied’ or super relaxed after. But with her, I do. Her prices are very reasonable and she offer’s various types. Even if you don’t get a massage here, they offer many other salon services (hair, nail, pedicures.). They also carry a good selection of top of the line hair products.
Again, this is not an upscale salon with a ‘Zen like facial room’ and esthetician who *gently* exfoliates using very high priced cleansers, masks and moisturizers at $ 60-​$ 100. For friendly, solid, straight-​up, reasonably priced, *ROCKSTAR* threading & facials — this is my go to place.

I went to Beauty Concepts for the first time a little over a month ago, and am extremely pleased by the service! It was my first time ever getting a Brazilian, and it certainly won’t be the last. Bharti made me feel comfortable during the entire service, and comforted me through casual conversation. I will definitely be returning to this establishment. The prices are insanely low for such a great service!

Raji is amazing if you need a Brazilian wax! For my first time going, she made it very relaxing and comfortable. I highly recommend coming here and will definitely return for my waxing needs.

Great bikini waxing. NOT luxurious at all, but affordable just $ 35 and one of the least painful experiences I’ve ever had. My suggestions to the «spa».clean better there’s a dead bug in the fluorescent light fixture that’s been there four months. You look right at it when you are laying in table. Also the attendant should leave the room while client is undressing and give a towel to cover up with. I was a little frightened first time I walked in and saw it was staffed by Indian women due to my past exp with dirty salons, but best bikini waxing in the area.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I live an hr away and refuse to go to anyone but Raji for a Brazilian. She is the best! She’s extremely quick and does it in a way where it’s less painful than it should be. I highly recommend her! I’ve gotten my eyebrows threaded and also had a pleasant experience.

one of the best threading salons i’ve been to. I’ve gone several places and they have always gone too thin even though i always say keep them thick and just a clean up! Arti is my go to person. She does leave a little strays on the eyebrows but i’m thinking because they are closer to the eyelid she doesn’t like to do that far down. So usually i go home and take them out myself, no biggie. She always gives me the shape i want. Great place

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for about 10 years now and I’ve tried just about every place you can think of that does threading! When I came to Beauty Concepts and Chaitali threaded my eyebrows I can say I will NEVER go to anyone ever again! She listens to what you want and treats every person with a customized experience. I go to Sagita for an eyebrow color, she is the BEST person to go for that full brow look, and then Chaitali shapes and cleans up my brows to perfection. SO HAPPY I found them BOTH!

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Whenever I go it’s very busy. They always have multiple employees providing services. Yes it’s a fast rotation but I like it that way. Quick and easy! I’ve had both wax and threading.

Since the day they for me in for an emergency Brazilian waxing in their pre-​remodel location, I have come back over and over throughout the years. Even if in the city, I’d make the hike out to BC. And I’ve tried numerous places closer but… Nope. This place is the best service and price indeed!

I just did the math and realized that I have been going to Beauty Concepts for over 15 YEARS since the first time I had my eyebrows done in 8^th grade! I’ve occasionally gotten my eyebrows threaded elsewhere and, whether it’s a mall kiosk in Champaign, a salon in India, or a threading shop in Chicago, nowhere does threading as well as Beauty Concepts. They’re quick, professional, skilled, and at $ 7 the price is fantastic! (When I started going there it was only $ 6. Damn inflation.)
I’ve tried some of their other services (haircuts, waxing, pedicures) and have had no negative experiences. However, threading is their standout service!

Originally gave it five stars and a raving review but after a couple more times visiting I’ve concluded that I will not return. Perhaps it was because of my timing the first time I went and reviewed the salon or if the service itself began to decline or if I just had bad luck with the staff members… I’m not sure. The last time I visited, there was a bit of a wait as usual and there are maybe 3 or 4 women doing the eyebrow threading. When it was my turn, the girl did my eyebrows in less than 5 minutes. She even nipped a bit of my skin in the process. When she finished she handed me a mirror and I saw a good amount of strays. I was going to ask for it to be more clean but her eyes were somewhere else and she looked ready to take the next customer. So I just left and plucked the rest at home.
Sure, it’s cheap compared to some places and the service definitely is quick… but for a process so painful, I’d rather it be somewhat of a pleasant experience. I went to In Style before coming here and thought I’d switch over to this place since it’s cheaper and is closer to my house, but I like it at In Style better because they prep your skin with powder, they take their time and even tweeze hair they can’t get with the thread, and they treat the area (s) they threaded afterwards with lotion and a massage. They’ve also recently began a frequent threading card that beauty concepts does, so that’s nice.

Jillian is the woman to do your hair! She is fun, modern and hip all in one. She makes the post 50+ woman feel young again. She is a must-​do!!!
Angela is the only lady who can give you a massage of a life time! Well worth the $$$$.
Eyebrow threading is the only way to go!
