I don’t know what has happened to Zen, but I ordered it last night and it was downright disgusting. I ordered chicken fried rice. Every bite was a new adventure! Every bite of chicken I had was different… one was crunchy, one was over cooked, one had a bone in it and one was pure fat. I stopped eating at that point! GROSS. I won’t be ordering from here again.

This place is fantastic. The atmosphere is elegant and groovy, with lots to look at. The food is not too bad either. They have a nice menu of fun choices to choose from. I got the Grilled Salmon, and it was delicious, and for dessert, I had some Mochi Ice Cream, which was really interesting, but in a good way. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who likes Asian food.

This is the third time I’ve been to Zen, and the first for ordering online and picking up (I’m out of the delivery zone — bummer!). Each time has been tasty and delicious. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful, and the sushi has been awesome every time. We used to drive to Fontana on alameda when we lived in park hill, now this has become the go-​to spot!

Food was great!!! except for the small hair in my salad, service wasn’t good at all, we waited for a while to get our bill and after we got our bill, I paid with a cc and waited another 15 mins.

I live about 2 minutes away from zen, i get takeout at least once a week, My boyfriend gets the sushi and i usually get the Shang Hai (sp?) Moon Lettuce Wraps without shrimp because I do not care for seafood. The Shang Hai Moon Lettuce Wraps are usually almost a pound of meat and then a good amount of lettuce wraps. My boyfriend loves the sushi. One sushi roll and the lettuce wraps runs us about 13 dollars which for us is totally worth it. The fried rice and the szechuan eggplant also have great flavor and contain a wide variety of vegetables. Overall great food!

This was a major disappointment. The atmosphere was typical Chinese restaurant décor. We ordered Mongolian beef and a peanut tofu dish. The dishes consisted of too much broccoli and onion. The salad was chopped iceberg lettuce with dressing. However, the sushi looked fresh and delicious. If you are interested in sushi try here. If you are paying for a typical dish, skip this place.

Happened upon this place after discovering our other sushi place was closed on Sundays for lunch. Clean restaurant with attentive staff. Ordered eight rolls between three of us and all agreed the price was good, the sushi was tasty and the portions of fish were generous. They also have a lunch special I would come back for that’s two rolls, soup and a salad just under $ 9. I’ll be back soon to try that out!

Not a bad little place. I really like how close it is to home. The sushi was average. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but nothing stood out as «great» to me. No appetizers were given. Most sushi places I’ve been too start customers off with a complimentary small Japanese salad or something else, not this place.
The customer service was great, our waitress was very nice. The prices were average. Still too pricy to eat regularly, but no more expensive than any other sushi place.
Atmosphere was nice, restaurant was very clean, and service was fast.

I’ve been going to Zen Bistro and having them deliver to my residence since I moved to my house in Broomfield 4 years ago. They are amazing with not only their food (I recommend the Hot Lovers roll if you have never been here) but also their amazing service. They always have a smile when we walk in to the bistro and are VERY pleasant on the phone. They have never gotten our order wrong and have been fast with service both in the restaurant and bringing it to our door. So happy I found this place many moons ago. Keep up the great work guys!

Ordered delivery on a Friday night at 7, delivery took appx an hour, which was appropriate and expected. We got the cream cheese wontons which had plenty of chive and cheese flavor, and weren’t too greasy. The chicken satay with peanut sauce was even better! A good amount of chicken for an appetizer. Flavored with lime and tumerac, it wasn’t spicy at all. Entrees were pad thai, more sweet than spicy. We weighed the food, over 2 pounds of noodles! If you order off grubhub, they have coupons for free food once X amount of money is spent.
We were pleased with the quality of the food, and will definitely try more off the menu.

Decent place to go. Had their drunken noodle dish and while not 100% correct, it has a decent mint flavor and uses good wide noodles, just a little too oily, couldnt get the noodles with my chopsticks they were so slippery oily.
Tried their tempura sweet potato sushi and it was very good along with a avocado roll. Price was a little high, but its in an upscale neighborhood so its to be expected. Overall one of those places you go to when you are in the mood and area, but not really one I seek out for a quality well valued meal.

Ordered take-​out from here because we wanted some sushi and this was one of the higher rated sushi joints within a reasonable distance. We got several rolls and the Thai Spring roll appetizer. The Thai Spring rolls were okay, by the time I got home and opened the bag I noticed they were split open and destroyed but they still tasted really good. I can’t remember which three rolls we got, I do remember one was fried and one was regular. I am one of those picky sushi eaters and I do not like cream cheese or avocado, of course two of the rolls had something I didn’t like so I requested they not put it in the roll. Unfortunately, the avocado was in one and cream cheese on the other, only reason they get four stars instead of five. I liked the little shopping area the restaurant was in and when I picked up everyone was fairly nice. I would eat from here again and would recommend.

I order from here often to get food delivered to me. They have the best sea same chicken in Broomfield by far… however more time then not they get my order wrong or forget to add a key item to my order like rice or sweat and sour sauce for the crab Rangoon.
The manager is quick to correct any mistake that is made however getting rice 20 minutes after you get your meal is kind of a turn off.
Delivery will take some time if you are ordering at a peak time of day. I have waited over 90 minutes before, I have just adjusted when i order leaving plenty of time for me to get hungry while I wait.

Best sushi in this neck of the woods! I also LOVE the baked green mussels (admittedly a little pricey for what you get, but I don’t care — I am addicted) and the lo mein. The menu is huge and includes Thai dishes and more, but I always order the same thing.
Staff is friendly, fish is always fresh and tasty, and they deliver! This is one of my go-​to spots in Broomfield.

My boyfriend and I tried this place last night and must say the food is not that great. We ordered sesame chicken, udon soup, and the zen delight. The sesame chicken was over breaded and the udon soup had no flavor. The zen delight, sounded pretty delicious from the menu, however when we received the sushi dish, it had a consistency of wet cat food. The worst $ 77 dollars I’ve spent on dinner.

I’ve come here a few times because of convenience and their food is decent. I really enjoyed the seafood birds nest last time and the sushi rolls are fresh and delicately made, though the spicy tuna has a bit too much mayo. I also like the Vietnamese egg rolls and their panang curry.
