If you’re in for simple authentic great tasting American and Mexican food, and not for the ambiance and atmosphere, then look no further.
They serve awesome green chili, excellent breakfast food and very tasty burgers.

Yummy comfort food and the coffee is always delicious.
What makes this place so great is the staff. Even on busy days they find you a table quickly and you get immediate service. The staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable!

Comfort food. Was pretty good for the price… Need to add a heater in the joint because it was cold but other than that good food…

Solid greasy spoon. Good food. Good portions. Good price. Good service. Have only had breakfast here and it’s been solid every time. A gem in an otherwise crap hole of a strip mall. The whole area needs an enima.

Cinnamon roll French toast is amazing!!! All the food is delicious, staff are super friendly, great place for locals and you feel like a regular as soon as you walk in! Friendly people, great food… biscuits and gravy. Definitely will visit again

As other reviews have stated, the wait staff is exceptionally friendly. The fries and pancakes were great. However, my pork chops were overcooked and my home fries were way under cooked (think boiled sliced potatoes). The wait person noticed I didn’t eat and did offer to have it cooked over but I needed to get back to work so I declined. My co-​workers didn’t finish their burgers either because the meat was overcooked. Maybe we came on the wrong day. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Went with a hamburger steak n eggs plate, cooked just right. I’ll try something more adventurous next time.
Bonus points for being open at 6am everyday and offering French vanilla creamer for the coffee drinkers.

Love this place. Always super friendly and inviting plus the menu is delicious! We always feel welcome. I wished I lived a bit closer, my family and I would be there everyday!

Westy’s Café is one of my favorite neighborhood gems in Denver – technically, Westminster! If you’re looking for a great meal at a good price where the portions are generous and staff is friendly, this is the best little «hole in the wall» in the area – And that’s saying a lot because we are surrounded by great little mom and pop restaurants, but Westy’s Café is THE goto spot! Perhaps the nicest restaurant I have ever been in. Not fancy, not trendy. Excellent comfort food, great coffee, all served quickly and with a big smile. These people treat their patrons the way every restaurant should.

A great place for a bite. Big menu. I like the Mexican breakfasts. The burgers are good too. It’s amazing to me that some of these small local places do it better that those big chain places. They should follow suit. I highly recommend this place.

Waitstaff is friendly and welcoming, super friendly if you’re a repeating customer. (Reminds my boyfriend of Cheers!) I always either get ice tea or coffee with my meal. Skillets are really good but my favorite is either their Mexican steak-​n-​eggs or Johnny’s Special. Mexican steak-​n-​eggs comes with 2 eggs your way, steak cut to bite size pieces smothered with homemade pork green chile with cheese. Johnny’s Special is like a Denver omelet all mixed up, bell peppers, onion, ham, eggs, cheese… again, topped off with green chile. Can you tell I love their pork green chile? If you get there before 11, they usually have pancake specials that’s less than $ 5.
For someone who wants non-​breakfast items, their sandwiches are really good. Monte Cristo is one of their specialty and I love their fries. Fries are seasoned and on the crispy side. Yum!
They have really awesome soup too, everyday is a different kind. If you are in the area of 68^th and Lowell, come by!!!

This is truly a hidden gem! Great staff, friendly quick and awesome food. I had the smoked pork chops and eggs for breakfast and I was amazed. Tasted great! The ONLY thing I could say bad is its a bit cramped in there but it is because they are pleasing soooo many customers. Did I mention fast and hot food! Great place!
