Great place for awesome tacos but the soda has no free refills minus 1 star. Tacos are served fast.

The food was delicious and most of the guys working there were nice. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the man at the register was rude and even answered his cellphone while taking my order. Other than his bad ppl skills it’s a nice Mexican food place. Tacos are $ 1.35 and burritos are about 6 – 8 dollars.

The BEST menudo around. Thet let you bring your own pot to fill. A 3qt pot for $ 12. They also let you customize the ratio of hominy to tripe and then add the broth. My boyfriend is from E. L.A. and always complains the Mexican food in OC doesn’t compare but he had 2 helpings of this menudo. Would have taken a picture but we forgot after we took the first sip. I’ve had their tacos and quesadilla in the past and their really good. This is the place to go for authentic mexican food.

Decided to try this place to feed my craving for tacos at 11 pm. I got one of each: chicken, el pastor, carne asada, lengua, and cabeza. The lengua was really good it was tender. I was a bit disappointed with the el pastor; I was expecting a hint of sweetness which there is a lack of. The cabeza looks more like shredded meat, but it’s still good. The price is reasonable $ 1.35 for one taco. I would definitely come back when I have another taco craving

The tacos, burritos and horchata is the best! I come here on my lunch usually and they are always super fast once I’m done ordering my food is all ready to go. Highly recommend this place if you’re picky with your horchata like I am.

I was picking up my boyfriend from LGB airport and he was scheduled to land at roughly 9:30P.M. Unfortunately, most of the places/type of food he wanted to eat at were either deep in the land of terrible traffic known as LA or would close by the time we got there. Fortunately for us, we stumbled upon this taco joint, thanks to our lovely Unilocal app. The biggest plus is the late hours this place opens — and the prices are good as well! Not too expensive nor too cheap, the prices seem to be a balance of «just right.» Upon entering, I was slightly confused. I ordered the food and was told to wait. I found a table and literally seconds later, my food was ready. We tried one of everything — the highlights are carne asada and the al pastor. The tacos are a bit on the small size, but they’re packed with a lot of flavor. If you come, remember to bring cash and if the tacos get too spicy, the marinated carrots will calm your tongue down.

Came to pick up lunch during work. Must I say, the carne asada here is solid. The quality of the meat might not be the best but the seasoning is definitely there to make it taste good. Also if you are worried about sanitation, then it might not be the best place to go. On my first visit, I picked up a couple asada and al pastor tacos. They were both good but I prefer the asada ones more. Overall, it may not have been the best taco I’ve ever tasted but it definitely hit the spot in filling up my Mexican taco cravings. I must also mention that they are super duper fast. From my experience you’re out the door in minutes so if you’re in a hurry it’s a great place to go too.

Came with here with no expectations. Wanted some tacos after my workout and this place was on my way home. It had a decent rating so I decided to stop by. I ordered 5 tacos(I just finished my workout so I earned them) and they were all really good. I got asada, al pastor, pollo, carnitas and BBQ chicken. The meat were all tender, juice and just really delicious. Not sure if the tortillas are homemade but they look like they are. They were nice and soft too. What surprised me the most was how freaking fast they are. I placed my order and within 5 minutes my tacos were ready. Super fast and delicious? You got my business! Adding this spot as one of my go-to taco joints in the area, specially since they are open late.

This Taqueria is fast, their food is fresh and hot. They have a variety of tacos. I have only had their Menudo which is served on Sundays only. Their carne asada burrito and tacos are tasty! The crew is fast and they close late on Friday and Saturday. We come here often. Their prices and portions are fair for the price

I am always in search of good taco joints. It’s Taco Tuesday. So I am Unilocaling for a new discovery. Located on Goldenwest/Trask in small plaza next to Chevron gas station. First impression-clean and very organized. The cashier takes your order and the taco chef works his magic. I went with my usual asada and al pastor street tacos. My fave is the asada as the meat was flavorful and tender. Al pastor was ok. Nothing too great. Add the red sauce for a slight kick in flavor and spiciness! Not too much because it is a scorcher on your taste buds. Go for the green sauce. Mild and muy bueno! I found another good local taco spot! These tacos are $ 1.25 a piece. They take cash and ATM only.

When it comes to great-tasting tacos – although I’ve consistently remained loyal to Whittier and Santa Ana – Westminster, if you’re willing to spend a little time scouting about, has some possibly lesser-known sweet spots just awaiting discovery. Tacos El Rancho would be one. Pollo, carnitas, beef steak, and deep fried pork(to name a few) rank just as high as what you’ve come to expect along Santa Ana’s streets and boulevards. Sure, the price – running at about $ 1.25/taco – is a little more(especially when vendors in surrounding areas entice for less), but El Rancho makes up the difference with taste. I loved their tacos! And the guys there, they’re hard-working, knocking out order after order. I was impressed. I think you will be too.

Not the worst place but not the best either. You can go down the street and get tacos for cheaper, plus there open 24 hrs. the rice and beans were VERY bland. the tacos were good, the al pastor was flavorful and tender. They weremakingnore steak, so I’m getting I got the old batch which was kind of chewy and tasted like a barn.

One of the cool things about this place is the guy chopping onions. You will notice maybe 50 onions on a counter behind where you order. When business slows, one of the guys goes back there and chopped onion after onion. I wonder how many they go through in a day.

Although the portion size for one taco is a little lacking, the cheap price and overall authenticity of the taco makes you just want to get more. I had the BBQ chicken and cow tongue(my favorite). There is a wide variety of meats and you should at least try a few since they run at around $ 1.50 each. *I suggest that you eat it as soon as possible because they are so fresh they can get soggy quickly.

Just had dinner here with the family. We live near by and have seen it for 2 years here. We usually always see people going in and seen other Mexican joints come and go near by. A neighbor told us good things about here and we decided to try. Just like other reviews, I have to say they do have great tacos! LOCATION: Next to Chevron and usually plenty of parking. Inside is clean, easy menu, bathroom, and good amount of seating SERVICE: one skinnier older man working the counter and one guy making food in the back. The guy at the register seemed to speak only Spanish and luckily my wife is Mexican and ordered for us. He came off a bit rushed and not happy. But made food fast. FOOD: Amazing!!! I got carne Asada and carnitas. Wife got carnitas and kids had the quesadilla and sides. Tacos are $ 1.15 each and worth it! Full of flavor and a kick of sauce. The carne was probably the best I have had. Quesadilla was very large and had rice and beans for $ 5. We look forward to going back! Quite inexpensive and full of flavor street tacos! We were out the door for like $ 13. Plenty of people ate in and some took out.

Great little mini chain(They have 3 locations) that serves authentic no frills mexican Fare at a great price. Simple menu of tacos and burritos. I went with al pastor and carnitas tacos, as well as a al pastor taco for the man. We preferred the Al Paster, the carnitas was a bit dry. Nice salsa bar, love the pickled onions! Also love their green sauce, the red is ok, a bit spicier. Made to order while you watch, these guys are super fast, faster than any fast food place, I’d be back for more Al Pastor when I’m in the area again.
