I wish i could leave no stars. Red head lady is super rude. In this day and age where everything can be purchased online, storefronts should offer top notch customer service. I guess etiquette doesnt apply to this lady. ill be purchasing online or at another location.

Went in today waited at the counter for about 10 minutes looking at manic panic behind the register. I looked around multiple times and said hello twice. There were 3 woman just talking, beyond rude. I left without getting anything.

I was extremely pleased with this location. I have an obsession with my hair and often end up coming to Sally Beauty Supply since the box dyes just never cut it for me. This location has extremely awesome customer service. They are there if you need advice and at least one of them knows the answers to any questions you have. I was impressed with the knowledge one of the girls seemed to have regarding lifting from black to platinum blonde with very little bleaching and color strippers. I decided to make the decision to going from darker red to a very bright blood red after doing some research which I suggest you do with the amount of upkeep and damage done to hair during this process. I was recommend by one of the staff to try this hicolor loreal stuff which lifts darker shades by using minimal bleach and then depositing color and I actually got the result I wanted only after two sessions. Amazingly worked very well in my hair and now it is RED, which I wanted. And it does very well with already colored hair. The prices are not at all bad, you get what you pay for. It’s very well worth it to actually invest time and money to get a great result. Thank you staff of Sally Beauty Supply. :)

Unprofessional and horrible customer service. Will not be back here again. The only reason I came here time after time is because it’s so close to me but now I’d rather shop online or take my business somewhere else.

I had recently called ask a couple question about a product that they had on stock. The woman on the phone was being so rude and told me that she doesn’t have time for my questions and hung up on me. I was lost in words! I can’t believe that this store is still in business. The customer service here is awful! Safe your time and go elsewhere darlings you won’t regret coming in this rotten place.

Like all the other reviews, this place has such horrible customer service !! A while backi came here to check out some hair stuff aince i was debating on what to do to my hair. I asked a short red haired lady(who i guess is the manager) and she acts like my decision on a hair color was«such a mistake» and its really offensive when it sounds like she’s indirectly insulting you! Also not to mention when i got to the cash register to pay, let me repeat that… PAY, one girl worker accused me of stealing ! Andthen the manager lady made me empty out all the pockets and lift up my shirt ! How freaking rude ! Lije im going to buy your fuckig products and you accuse me of stealing when you talked to me pretty much the whole time ! And then you dont even apologize for your mistake? That experience was so horrid with the service they give you and acts they display, i felt like i should have gotten what i purchased for free. Which by the way was only a dye and a couple packets of deep conditioner to test out.

Horrible customer service from the store manager, I asked to hold some items at the cash register so I could look around some more and she acted like I was bothering her and said she was too busy. Uh, I was the only customer at the moment. Can’t believe she’s the store manager some people shouldn’t work in retail if they’re straight up rude.

Terrible terrible terrible customer service. And the name tag said«manager» on the lady that was helping me… seriously?! I went in to look at some hair extensions and she acted as though I was greatly inconveniencing her with questions I was asking. Excuse me, if I’m going to spend almost $ 200 I would like to have some satisfaction! I went in after I was at the gym and she commented on how sweaty I looked. She was so rude. It’s worth it to drive to the next Sally’s.

My aunt owns a nail/hail salon and comes in here frequently, for the past 3 years or so, to buy her supplies. The shop is nothing spectacular, just an average Sally Beauty Supply. I appreciate that it is clean and organized, though. The redheaded woman working in the store(I believe she’s a manager) provided excellent assistance when I came in. I recently had my hair dyed in a salon a color wayyyyy too blonde for my liking, so I requested some advice from her on how to get it to the color that I wanted. I spent several minutes with her before deciding on a color but she was patient and helpful the entire time, giving me advice on what I should do to achieve the color I wanted. She’s a sweet lady so I’m surprised the reviews here are so terrible, but it could possibly be that the shop was different a few years ago when the previous reviews were written.

I should start off by saying I’ve been to quite a few Sally’s Beauty Supply stores and I have never ever experienced anything quite like what I’ve experienced here… And it saddens me that this incident will drive me away. I’ll go to Ulta from now on. I went in a few days ago. There were two workers who seemed more interested in eyeing down customers than helping them. I asked a simple question and they were extremely rude making it seem like my question caused an inconvenience into their conversation. MYBAD! Last I remember a sales associate sells to their customers not their coworkers. When I got the hint that they were clueless about their products and promotions, I just said it’s okay. The cashier who rang me up was cold, but polite. Whatever. I didn’t really care I just wanted to get out of there with my products. The item I bought was Ion Color Protection Daily Conditioner. I tried it out a few times and realized that my hair was really dry, dull and felt like there was wax in it. After doing some research, I was freaked out to find that others were experiencing this too. So, for future references to those of you who have had your hair dyed, don’t buy it. I went online to check their in-store return policy. I then proceeded to call the store I had purchased from to see if they would honor what the website promised. I was put on hold, but asked to be put on hold in a very rude way. I got disconnected, and I understand sometimes we just get disconnected and it’s not the salespersons fault. Okay, fine. The store manager basically was very short with me, barely let me get a word in and said she would not honor the return policy. I told her the item was defective and would like to receive store credit(not even a refund), and she kept arguing that if it’s defective why she should have to take it back and that I need to toss it out. She then accused me of using the product wrong saying I needed to use another shampoo after the conditioner and a load of other bs. I asked her, «why would it make sense to use shampoo, conditioner then shampoo?» Again, we talked back and forth and then I kept reiterating that the website says I can return it for store credit. She finally gave in and said, «okay bring it in.» I figured I would have a lot of problems once I came in and would have to continue bickering. So I called Sally’s Corporate CSR and told them the situation. She handled the rest for me. When I came in, the store manager acted as if she had no clue I was so offended and that it was just the disconnection that made me upset. No… actually it was our whole conversation and how you lied about the company’s return policy, insulted me for not knowing how to use a product, and then some. She then started talking to her sales associate about how that happens all the time, blah blah blah. She even deducted the amount wrong off my receipt, but by then I was done arguing. I just wanted to get out. If you really need to go to a Sally’s, I suggest you go to the one on Brookhurst and Ellis. They’re so much more friendly and offer real advice based on their knowledge of products.

The ladies there are always rude, like the other reviewer stated. My last experience was especially… awkward? I don’t even know how to describe it. I walk in, I believe it was the owner who was working(older lady.) She barely greets me and keeps eyeing me like I want to steal all her precious nail polishes. There was an annoying group of young girls rampaging through the store. She was loudly complaining to another customer about the girls, yet didn’t say anything to them.(I think they were moving stuff around and trying stuff on/opening things.) Why not just say something? The woman she was complaining too was the worst part of my experience. She had 2 little kids with her and was being really harsh with them. They were crying and causing a scene and she was mean to them. I felt uncomfortable. Then when she left, the owner came to ask if I needed any help. I was asking her a few questions about cuticle products and she was so unhelpful. She acted like my questions were stupid. Anywho, I go there for specialty beauty items, but it always sucks.
