I really wanted to like this place because it’s not too far from where I just moved to, but I’m really disappointed. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken and shrimp patties, with a cup of phở broth and thai tea to go. In total everything came out to be about $ 18…and well I suppose that’s about average, however the main entrée was meh. The shrimp patties had a strange smell to it, and the fish sauce that it came with was not seasoned to really make up for the plain noodles that I was left with since I only had about 3 pieces of chicken strips!!! Phở Broth is something I always order on the side of with any dish, bc it helps food go down and well it was really dark with no phở flavor as well. The only decent item was the thai tea but not enough for me to go back. I would suggest Denver Phở & Grill as they are in close proximity for those in the area and the phở broth and vermicelli dishes are more authentic. Cheers!

We go mainly for the grill, which can’t be beat. There is better phở in the area but theirs has been average or better.

I’ve been going to Saigon for a long time now. Their Phở used to be some of the best around. It seems lately that food quality has declined and the service is sub par. On top of that the entire restaurant is disgusting. The floors are filthy and haven’t seen a vacuum in months. The bathroom is awful my water glass and fork were filthy and the staff is unkempt and rude. The waiter was busy eating and using his cell phone without washing his hands on my last visit. I’m all for greasy spoon type restaurants but the food quality is so bad that it’s not worth the risk of a food born illness.

ALWAYSTASTETHEBROTHONPHO before you put anything in your bowl. The broth was a 3 out of 10 which is exactly how the Bowl #11 tastes, a 3. The broth wasn’t strong and tasted watered down. There was no smell of any of the seasonings in it. The meat was so so. The condiments was like 4 – 5 slices of jalapeño but the bean sprouts and such was plentiful. I’ve had better and I am a veteran of Phở places. Always taste the broth because if that ain’t good, it ruins the whole bowl.

Bland food, but nice folks. Ordered the Pad Thai and Chicken Noodle Bowl. Both were just«alright.» No real flavor.

Happened here for lunch. I can say… Dim lighting. Lots of boxes piled up by the men’s bathroom door. No, surprise, the waitress spoke VERY broken English and was exceptionally difficult to understand. :-) We had requested some of their ‘lunch specials’.(At 2:00 p.m.) Our waitress stated that she would need to make sure they were still doing the ‘lunch specials’. ??? It was clearly stated in the menu…“11:00 — 3:00! My wife had the Kung Pao Shrimp and enjoyed it. I had the Cashew Chicken. Mine was flavorless, but a hearty serving. I might go back here, NEVER! Sorry I had to be so tough. Honesty IS the best policy.

Love this place. The food is great. Wished the decorations were better but I’m gonna keep going there because of the food. They should think about expanding.

Location is good. Parking a plenty. Chicken phở is so good. The spring rolls are also good. The wait for food(dine in and take out) can be long.

This place is the real deal and for cheap! My wife and I always go and share a large phở which is about 8 bucks. The broth is consistantly flavorful and the veggies and meat are fresh. The service is quick and accurate. What more do you need from a phở house?! We come here all the time on our lunch break sue to our proximity to Saigon

A last minute lunch choice lead my Mom and me to Saigon Phở Grill after flower shopping nearby. First impressions were a little meh, the interior is one giant room with old and worn booths around the exterior and banquet tables in the middle with little to no décor to speak of. The lunch menu is also limited, if you don’t want Phở your choices will be limited to a noodle or rice bowl. I ordered the Combination Noodle Bowl with pork, chicken, and shrimp and a Mango Boba. The food arrived and it was just average; the sauce to be poured over the noodle bowl was warm, bland and unappetizing. The veggies in my noodle bowl were not fresh, the lettuce had brown edges and the cucumber was limp. It was edible, but nothing close to the quality you receive from the places on Federal. Service was slow, the only time our server showed up was to take our order, drop off food, or bring the bill. In addition, our Boba drinks arrived at the end of our meal even though we ordered them when we first sat down. I didn’t want mine to go, I wanted to enjoy it with my lunch. It was a mediocre experience and based on first impressions I’m not returning. I’ll stick to Saigon Bowl for my Vietnamese cravings for now.

Ate Phở Tai here once and the broth sucked, was bland and have never went back. There are plenty of other Phở spots in the area.

The restaurant is clean. They have fast and friendly service. The prices are super reasonable. And you can get your bowl in extra large! The phở has got an alright flavor as well. The decorations in there can get a bit crazy though… Especially around Christmas I hear!

I don’t know how I missed writing a review of this place considering it’s the one we eat at more often than any other when we eat out or order in. The phở is incredible. I’ve tried phở in many restaurants in the Denver area including many on South Federal and this is the one I always come back to. The broth is good with more than a hint of anise and plenty of beefiness to back it up. The portions are always large and the prices are fantastic. I’ve also had a couple of the other dishes — fried shrimp paste, noodle bowls, rice bowls and different appetizers but none of the Chinese dishes on the menu because why would you? They were good as well but we always come back for the phở. The egg rolls are also the best I’ve ever had — they are a little extra crispier than most I’ve had and I prefer them that way. The man and I usually split a large chin nam phở and an order of egg rolls for a to-go order and that leaves us pretty satisfied. Service is generally OK — it is better if they know you(if we don’t go in for a while we are told we are missed when we do return). One person in particular(female) ALWAYS screws up our pick up orders which can be frustrating.

Don’t be fooled by the décor; the phở here is very, very good and super affordable! — Cha gio — super crunchy and comes with all the fixings(lettuce, cucumber, cilantro, and carrots). — phở bo vien(meatballs) — super clean broth with generous helping of meat. Comes in 3 sizes(small, medium, large) with the medium being the standard size you would get at any other phở restaurant. Highly recommend for your phở fix!

I am pregnant and this is what I crave. Its close to my house(along with 5 others) however this is my husband and I’s favorite. I like the phở here, for americanized phở it is really good. I have had it all over the US too. Comparitively in my neighborhood it is really tasty phở. I DOLOVETHEIRFOOD!!! Cons about this place: until the older asian people got used to us they were quite rude. However, I find that most asian owned businesses are like this. This was not out of the norm for me. It is nice now that they know us that they refill our beverages more and are quite pleasant when we walk in. Another Con about his place the bathrooms are disgusting. I go right before I leave the house and pray I don’t have to use it again while I am there. I can barely handle going in there I feel so gross just from touching the door. Again I think the food is awesome. I have never ventured from the phở, but my husband has and he is quite fond of it.

Saigon Phở Grill consistently delivers a tasty bowl of one of my all time favorite foods. Seriously, what is better than a steamy bowl of delicious broth, noodles, and beef? Not much, my friends. Not. Freaking. Much. While you rarely get exactly what you ordered(last time I had several pieces of tendon, some tripe, and one random little shrimp in my rare steak Phở), what you get always hits the spot. Portion size is awesome and while normally I can put away a medium at most places, a small here is a formidable opponent. Noodles are plentiful and there is no shortage on the – in my humble opinion – essential sides and spices. They also have surprisingly great peanut sauce and I enjoy slathering a spring roll or two with it from time to time. Saigon Phở has my business and I will happily continue to support any place that can give me decent service and a big bowl of soup.

What a great place to eat Phở or any other dish for that matter. The service is always incredible but not overwhelming. I never has to ask for anything as the waiter was very attentive. There Phở is simply delicious. I always get the special combo which has all type of meat goodness and then I add the great veggies and fresh herbs to the mix. Tendon, brisket, tripe and so many textures are so enjoyable. And for a cold winter day it cant be beat!
